2,000 lays in a row (1% completed)

Firstly, consider this log as being excluded from the Consecutive Bets League

I want to set up a log with a long term target in mind that will in theory take years to complete (but likely fail well before then). I will have other logs running concurrently but I want something to churn very slowly in the background.

The main bet type will be to lay football results that have very high odds, although I may bet on other markets at different times.

The target is to complete 2,000 successful bets. Some of the lays will appear insane or not worthwhile (e.g., 1000/1) but hopefully overtime, the log will be an interest read.

Given one bad bet will collapse the entire bank, I will deploy a chaser bank after the first 200 bets (or before if the initial bank crashes)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Starting bank is €200

Average return per bet sought - 0.25% (yes, a quarter of 1% percent)

Bank in theory after 2,000 successful bets - €29,500 (rounded)

After every 20 bets I will aim to do a check-in to take a breather and summarise the progress

I tried 1.01 years ago. Didn't even get to a hundred :lol I can still remember the loser which was a snooker bet. Barry Hawkins was leading Nigel Bond 5-0 in a race to 6 and at that point 1.01 wasn't even available. Bond then won the next 6 frames with Hawkins missing pots left, right and centre. Was unbelievable to watch.
