BillyHills
A bit strange this, Ladbrokes, Corals and Betdaq all owned by the same group have ended their time with odds checker as from July 9th. I would have thought they got loads of business from being prominent on the odds grid. Quote GVC Holdings announced today its UK brands, Ladbrokes, Coral and Betdaq will be removed from the pricing grid of oddschecker, effective July 9, as the web service owned by Flutter Entertainment and the owner of the brands could not agree on a price for a renewal of their deal. GVC Holdings Cited Commercial Reasons The bet comparison service and GVC Holdings have been looking to negotiate a continuation of their partnership for almost a year, but eventually could not reach an agreement and the term of the three brand contract that was initially signed 2 years ago has expired. GVC Holdings’ other brand, Sportingbet, would remain unaffected by the termination of the deal as it has a separate contract with oddschecker. Quote Indeed, the loss for oddschecker is serious as Ladbrokes and Coral rank 3rd and 10threspectively in the oddschecker grid which allows punters to seek out the best offers betting-wise across 23 different operators, who pay to oddschecker rev-share fees for customer referrals. Besides referral fees, the operators pay a fixed monthly fee for advertising on the grid.

I agree although they maybe holding out for a better deal? Interesting how Oddschecker is owned by the same company that run PP and Betfair, maybe a bit of in-fighting. roger2256
In years past, Ladbrokes was the go to site for potential winners. Whenever they were shortest in the market especially one of the top five , people took notice . Almost every Saturday punters heard John McCririck shouting after a well backed horse wins ,Ladbrokes the magic sign they knew ,they only went xx this morning . Not sure they command the same respect these days but they have always been a law upon themselves anyway . calva decoy
calva decoy
I don't own a computer or laptop & access everything via my mobile thanks to being a loyal EE customer I get loads of data every month but during the start of lockdown Ladbrokes went on a transformation & the site on a mobile platform now is more geared up for slots & casino rather than a sportsbook , both Ladbrokes & Coral ( who I do well with ) take an eternity to log in sometimes I'd rather take a 10/1 with bet365 , betfair or sky bet than a 11/1 with the above 2 firms ( I'm impatient ) can't comment on betdaq as once again I have no patience for exchange betting. MCLARKE
Yep, does seem strange, I only use bookmakers on odds-checker. Perhaps Ladbrokes don't want punters who search for the best prices.
