Not sure if this is the right area to post this in but I'm sure BH will kindly move it if required. As well as being a horse racing fan, for my sins I also follow Bolton Wanderers as well as being a Leigh Rugby League season ticket holder. You may or may not know that there is a French side in Super League (Catalan Dragons). We play them this weekend and a few of us are off to the game. We are flying to Barcelona and staying in a place called Calella which is about 30 miles from Barcelona. On the day of the game we have a transfer booked to take us from Calella over into Perpignan in France where the Catalans play. Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed in Calella and knows of any bars round there that may show the racing as there are a few of us on the trip that would like to watch some over the weekend if possible? Or even better, bars with an ‘in-house bookie’?!”

I'm pretty sure Calella is a holiday resort isn't it? If i'm thinking of the same place there will be loads of bars.

Looking forward to it should be a great trip. I suspect the rugby will get in the way of a great weekend with it being a bottom of the table clash!!
