Galway Jack will be ready for a big run. Go well
chris34
3.45 Lingfield Several good old stalwarts for the AW season in this handicap, Forceful Appeal is sure to win a handicap at some point this winter and is on a god mark but needs to show a bit of spark currently. Alfred Hutchinson might be worth taking a risk on at a price has largely struggled for form since joining O’Meara however there was better sign 3 starts back when running back on the polytrack, further 5lb lower today and now 2lb below last CD win. Adam Kirby a strong booking and yard having a good spell with their runners on the AW. 1pt e/w Alfred Hutchinson 25/1 Ladbrokes 4.50 Lingfield Another big priced selection and not one to go overboard about however Take Two is likely to find a prize at some point this winter. He proved he is a good horse on the AW surface with placed efforts back in 2015 off a mark of 75, clearly got injured on next start over hurdles when winning in March 2015 not seen until the start of this month when fluffing the start and never getting into the race. However drops a further 3lb and now runs off 70, not stood much racing had some long breaks at times suggest he is fragile but may still have more to offer. Useful apprentice also claiming a handy 5lb. 0.5pt e/w Take Two 20/1 bet365 6.40 Chelmsford Star Links has rejoined his old yard who did really well with him, he went off the boil for Kirk but they did manage to get a win out of him dropped to a mark of 48. Has won off marks in the mid 80’s at his best clearly not the force of old but a good run at Dundalk after a lengthy break latest when 5th off 52. Sure to strip fitter for that and this is the first time his Irish trainer has taken a horse to Chelmsford. Its a long journey to make for a selling handicap which in itself is a class drop so it is worth taking note of especially stepping back up in trip. 2pt win Star Links 8/1 Bet365 8.40 Chelmsford I could follow Cadland Lad off a cliff at the moment he is more than capable but has become very frustrating now. Concur is another with a similar profile but does appear to be progressing slightly quicker than Cadland and he has to be the bet in the race. Another runner who is making a long journey and has first time blinkers on today. 2pt win Concur 10/3 BetVictor BillyHills
DanV89
7.40 Chelmsford I like Burning Thread here at 11/2. Mark has been steadily dropping over the past (almost) 12 months since winning on the AW at Kempton in December last year. Finally took adavantage of the waning mark winning off 72 last time out at Bath. Has been put up 7lbs for that win which may look harsh on the face of it but he was running well off marks in the mid-eighties earlier on this year on the AW so anything like that form will be good enough to take this. Draw isn't great in 7 but could've been worse. There looks to be plenty pace to the race with King Crimson, Come On Dave and Stanghow all likely to front run so should be set up nicely for something off the pace. DanV89
8.40 Chelmsford Also going to go with a bit of an outsider here in Cara's Request - 18/1 with BetBright. If she can get out well from a tricky-ish draw (9) I think she will probably try to make all the running here with only really Cadeaux Pearl the other contender for the lead. Pretty soundly beaten on both runs this year but the latest she wasn't actually beaten that far despite finishing 9th of 11 at Muss. Now 9lbs below last winning mark and drops grade again tonight. Oisin Murphy up so hoping she could at least run into a place. BillyHills
