Sir Puntalot
26th May 2016, 9:30pm Hull to edge low scoring affair Every year ridiculous numbers are bandied about with regards the value of winning the Championship playoff but this season there is no exaggeration in the figures for the fixture that brings together Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday at Wembley on Saturday. More than any other this is the year to be promoted to the Premier League due to the vast sums associated with the latest television deal. Hull finished two places and nine points ahead of Wednesday in the regular season but relative positions in the table are not always reflected in results in the biggest match in the Championship campaign. Brighton accumulated 15 more points than Sheffield Wednesday over 46 matches but lost to that side 3-1 in the semi-finals of the playoffs. Hull were five points better off than Derby and confirmed that form by beating them 3-2 over the two legs of the other semi-final. waynecoyne
i'll side with my team hull with their dull pragmatic football are not the ideal opponents as Wednesday play better in an open attacking game nevertheless I don't think there is much between the teams and Wednesday could be underestimated I've gone for 2-0 and 2-1 scorecasts hooper and forestieri at 60 and 45 respectively forestieri is the one x factor player on display

Sir Puntalot
Extra time may be needed Millwall finished two places and seven points ahead of Barnsley in League One after the regular season but that form won’t necessarily translate to their match at Wembley on Sunday to decide who gains promotion to the Championship. The League One playoff final brings together two sides that were well off the pace for automatic promotion but one will move into the second level of English football. Two teams go up by right and the teams from 3rd to 6th in the table fight over the scraps. Sir Puntalot
Another tight one to predict Plymouth finished the regular season four points off automatic promotion from League Two and six points clear of Wimbledon, their opponents in the playoff final at Wembley on Monday. This is the last fixture of the league season but unlikely to be a goal fest. Plymouth are tipped to lift the trophy but the match will be tight and could be tied after 90 minutes. Scoring statistics suggests there will be less than three goals during normal time. Both teams not to score makes some appeal which overall points to a goal less draw and a Plymouth winner during the extra 30 minutes.
