Re: Conference/FA Trophy Final 28th-29th March any reason why Braintree are 12-5 considering kiddys last win was on jan 20th? they(kiddy) are facing further budget cuts next season meaning their top earners will be seeking new clubs and seemingly not busting a gut judging by their current form over the last two months torquay another team going through the motions, southport worth backing as well considering they still need a few points for safety

Probably because Braintree were awful on the box on Tuesday night although will write more on this when I sort my tips out. Speaking of tuesday which Torquay showed some signs of life against a Woking team going for the playoffs even if they lost. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum

Re: Conference/FA Trophy Final 28th-29th March Saturday TV preview: 3pts Macclesfield/Bristol Rovs - Draw 12/5 Coral We’ve hit crunch time now but this isn’t the easiest time to be chasing a side down especially when you have a tricky away match like this coming up so this will be a real test of Bristol Rovers’ promotion credentials. I don’t expect Macclesfield to roll over. They still harbour outside hopes of stealing top spot themselves and they have some very experienced players so this one has a feel of one of those matches where the result neither want is the one they end up with and that’s the draw. Re: Conference/FA Trophy Final 28th-29th March

braintrees odds are drifting for some reason' date='apart from kiddy signing two bham youngsters on loan i cant fathom out why, wish I had waited for better odds now[/quote'] Like I say above if you lose 2-0 at home to the side who are bottom in the league and play awfully when it was on TV, is it any surprise that people are looking to oppose them?

Re: Conference/FA Trophy Final 28th-29th March Macclesfield v Bristol Rovers After a couple of bad live TV games this is a much betterchoice by BT Sport. For ante-post reasons I am hoping for a home win, and forpretty much all the season Macclesfield have been over priced, however I amgoing for an away win here. Macclesfield have started to run out of steam andhave not been playing anywhere near as well as they were earlier in the season.Having looked certs for the play-offs they must be looking over their shouldersnow. Rovers on the otherhand are unbeaten in their last 16 away games, whichincluded getting an injury time equaliser against Halifax. They will know thatthey can put pressure on Barnet and Grimsby by winning this before they play at3pm and I just think they will prove the stronger here. 11/10 (various) is thebest price. Kidderminster v Braintree It is a shame Braintree were so bad on Tuesday night infront of the BT Sport camears because I would have fancied them really stronglyto win this. As it is they are still worth backing, but I can’t be as confidentas I would have been prior to Tuesday. They were rotten in that 2-0 home defeatto bottom side AFC Telford, but had been in fair enough form prior to thathaving beaten Torquay 5-1 in their previous game. Hopefully Alan Devonshire canget them to bounce back as they are usually very hard to beat. Something whichcan’t be said about their opponents Kidderminster who are in shocking form. Money issues andplayers leaving have been the main cause and they look very low on confidence especiallywhen they concede. 12/5 (various) is a good price about the away side andhopefully the players will be up for putting Tuesday night behind them. Lincoln v Forest Green Rovers To be fair to Lincoln they have managed a couple of awaydraws in their last two matches, but in a reverse to how their form was goingthey have been poor at home. Their only win in their last six was at Dover. They have lost three at home in that spell including to Welling. They haven’teven managed a goal in that time so this gives FGR a perfect chance to bounceback from their first defeat in a while against Woking last weekend. Based onthe report they could easily have got a point that and have been in really goodnick of late. They should have too much for the home side and a shade of oddsagainst is a fair price.

Re: Conference/FA Trophy Final 28th-29th March Trophy final preview: 4pts Wrexham to beat North Ferriby 3/4 Boylesports Wrexham’s experience of the occasion has to stand them in good stead here and while they might not be in the best of form coming into the final form largely goes out of the window once the final starts and I think with the experience they have in the side and the goal threat they have in the form of Lewis Moult, Andy Bishop and Connor Jennings Wrexham should have enough to get it done inside 90 minutes this time. Re: Conference/FA Trophy Final 28th-29th March

Addpea' date=' what do u think Welling - Grimsby 2 ? welling in bad form, grimsby fights for 1st place...[/quote'] Should win but the price is short enough especially as Welling need the points as well. The problem Welling have is they struggle to keep 11 men on the pitch.
