Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th Even though Lorient lost last weekend to PSG,they looked decent upfront. They had several good chances during the 1st half which could easily be dcisive but they missed them. Then, during the 2nd hald PSG stopped joking around and scored 2 goals which broke the away side down.Lorient seem capable of scoring but their main problem is defending. Both teams have history of goals and given the attacking game Lorient offered last round i can't see why this game won't go over 2.5.Fans of the home team should feel this game as winnable one because Lorient is really struggling and look to be in trouble.I feel at odds against over 2.5 goals should be value.2.20 with bet365 1:0

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th Rennes – Lorient There is plenty of logic pointing towards a Rennes win tonight. They are the better team on paper, have good home form and their opponents have lost 7 of their last 8 games. Lorient did actually show improvements last week against PSG, but still lost and are renowned for being poor on the road. This is a local derby, so it might bring the best out of them, but on paper Rennes should have too much. Team news also favours the hosts, as always Lorient are missing a fair few players to injury. After final consideration I’m going to place a few units on the hosts, I think in the end they’ll be good enough to get the job done. Prediction: Rennes 2-1 Lorient Recommended bet; Rennes -0.5 @ 2.0 4/10

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th

That Ntep guy you recently mentioned' date=' keeps winning us bets. Let it last! I saw tha final part of the match, I think Rennes dominated quite a bit. But Lorient had some nice chances. I am glad I followed your advice.[/quote'] He's the key man yes. I have been raving about this guy for the last 18 months. Actually he overall had a poor night but his one good moment was ultimately key. Ntep is destined to end up at a really big club one day.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th Lens – Bordeaux I don’t think this is going to be a particularly entertaining game. Bordeaux matches are rarely very exciting and both teams could be afraid to lose this one. Lens don’t have a proper home this season, although their fans have tried to make the Stade de la Licorne (in Amiens) as intimidating as possible. Early in the season they seemed to have a ‘Lens vs the world’ type mentality when loads of things were against them. But perhaps that has kind of faded away a bit now and they realise how tough it’s going to be to stay up. Lens may well be quite worn out mentally from some difficult recent fixtures. The positive is that they competed really well against the likes of PSG and OM, but got nothing out of those fixtures. I expect them to operate quite defensively here and target a clean sheet. Bordeaux don’t usually operate that attacking themselves on the road so this could end up as a stalemate. One goal may well be enough for either side to claim victory. I’m just not sure here and I’d say it’s a good match to swerve. Some might say Lens +0.25 would be a decent bet, but it’s fraught with danger. I think the hosts can get something but I’m not willing to risk any money on them. Prediction: Lens 0-0 Bordeaux NO BET

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th Evian – Nice The Annecy side have lost their last 3 games but havent looked *that* bad in them. This is definitely a winnable fixture facing a Nice side who are very inconsistent. In their last away match they actually won 7-2 at Guingamp but this was a freak result unlikely to be repeated anytime soon. There are no real patterns with Nice this season, literally you never know which face they will show each week. What I do know is that they are missing Didier Digard and Mathieu Bodmer here, so from a defensive point of view will be weakened. Add into the mixer Gregoire Puel’s absence and they could certainly be vulnerable at the back. Evian are a weird team and can’t be trusted much either but this is the sort of fixture they should be able to win. As long as they make the most of home advantage then I can see them prevailing in what should be a pretty open match. I like backing over 2.25 goals because both teams can’t be relied upon defensively and this should be an attacking encounter. If this ends something like 0-0 or 1-1 then I’m royally fucked but It’s a risk I’m willing to take. Prediction: Evian 3-1 Nice Recommended bets: Evian -0.25 @ 2.05 4.10 & Over 2.25 goals @ 1.95 4/10 Caen – Nantes Normandy vs Brittany here in what should be a decent encounter to watch. Caen only have 12 points to their name but I honestly think they are much better than their record might suggest. Patrice Garande’s men have had a very tough fixture list so far and this sort of encounter is a much more manageable affair. Caen like to play attractive football and although Nantes are usually quite negative, I could see them getting sucked into opening up a little more than usual. I did consider the overs here but Nantes have only had 1 of their 12 matches contain more than 2 goals, which is just too much of a concern to ignore. They are also unbeaten in 7 games which should raise some alarm bells, but I am still going to back Caen -0.25. I have to admit the draw is a potential runner here but overall I think the hosts will have enough to prevail. Prediction: Caen 2-1 Nantes Recommended bet: Caen -0.25 @ 2.09 4/10 Bastia – Montpellier It must be said that Bastia are a complete mess right now. They harshly sacked Claude Makelele even though he won 2 of his last 4 games in charge, and now nobody wants to work for their president. Bastia legend Frederic Antonetti was approached, but even he rejected the chance to become their new boss. It’s clear that Bastia have issues upstairs and this might affect their on field form too. One of the big problems they have encountered is trying to find consistent XIs where everyone gels together. The Corsicans added over half a dozen new players during the summer and at times this year they just havent looked like a team. Montpellier’s form is a bit patchy, especially away, but they could definitely take victory tonight and take advantage of Bastia’s plight. I’m not going to bet on this encounter but I think the visitors get 3 points. Prediction: Bastia 0-1 Montpellier NO BET Toulouse – Metz TFC are in a bit of a rut at the moment and have lost their last 3 ligue matches. They’ve actually lost 4 straight if you include their cup defeat to Bordeaux. Their main issue has been converting chances, the general standard of their play has been alright. But how much of this is just bad luck? They continue to fuck up opportunities and it’s costing them dearly. Until they look more clinical in front of goal then I certainly couldn’t be trusting them. This is a good chance for Les Violets to win today because Metz are a poor away side (2nd worst in the ligue). But the way TFC are playing right now they’ll probably dominate, yet somehow fail to win, so I’m going to predict a draw. This is not a match I’m interested in betting on before it starts. Prediction: Toulouse 1-1 Metz NO BET

I want to buy Guingamp +1.5, do you think it is wise?

Guingamp have lost every single game at the weekend when they had a midweek Euro fixture so far and given the fact Lyon is at home and is on fire i think 1.50 (-0.5) AH looks like a good accumulator material.
I want to buy Guingamp +1.5, is it a wise choice ?

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th Lyon – Guingamp OL have been one of the hottest teams this season and won 6 of their last 8 games in Ligue 1. As I have said many times in recent weeks, I’m not totally sure how they’ve managed to play so well because on paper their talent level isn’t that brilliant compared to some of the other big sides, but you have to credit coach Hubert Fournier who has seriously got them ticking. Of course, it helps that they have Alexandre Lacazette in their ranks, someone who is the hottest striker in the division right now. He is playing at a seriously high level and Guingamp must really fear facing him today. The visitors have won 2 of their last 3 in L1, but have lost a whopping 8 times already this season. Their record following EL games is terrible too, and a couple of weeks ago lost 2-7 after a trip to the continent. At least they were at home on Thursday night but their squad just isn’t equipped to deal with Europa League football. It’s difficult to see anything other than a Lyon win today, they should be far too good. -1 lines in France aren’t usually the greatest of ideas but this looks set to be a blowout. Prediction: Lyon 3-0 Guingamp Recommended bet: Lyon -1 (asian) @ 1.95 6/10 Reims – Lille Lille are another side who have struggled to juggle both Ligue 1 and Europa League commitments recently. Domestically, LOSC have only won 1 of their last 7 games and a combination of factors has led to poor form. They haven’t been as bad as their stats might suggest, but this could be a tough fixture for them, especially on the back of a 0-3 drubbing at Everton. Reims are a strange side and you never know quite what you’re going to get with the Champagne outfit, but no doubt a number of factors are in their favour today. I just don’t see why they are such a clear underdog here? Things just aren’t right for Lille at the moment and this looks to be a great time to face them. I’d be surprised if Reims didn’t pick up at least a point today so taking them +0.25 makes a ton of sense IMO. Prediction: Reims 1-0 Lille Recommended bet: Reims +0.25 @ 2.05 5/10 St Etienne – Monaco This should be a good battle between a couple of good defensive sides. Both were involved in tough European matches this weekend so could be flat and a bit lifeless. I don’t think either will really be at their best and it’s possible that this ends up as some sort of stalemate. Neither side seems to get involved in many exciting encounters these days and one goal might be enough to pick up 3 points. At times, Monaco have been poor this year but their performances facing good teams has been quite impressive and this is the sort of occasion they should relish. I think it’s a difficult match to call and is capable of going either way, maybe one moment of brilliance will settle the matter. I’m not going to bet here but I’m expecting a really close game. Prediction: St Etienne 0-0 Monaco NO BET PSG – Marseille So the big one then, Le Classique at Le Parc de Princes. PSG have totally OWNED Marseille in the last few seasons winning their last 5 consecutive matches against the Mediterranean giants. But this season OM seem like a different animal under Marcelo Bielsa and have taken the ligue by storm. Are they ready to finally challenge again or will PSG put them back in their place? The Parisian outfit always seem to completely raise their game for this fixture and mentally have been far more stronger than OM in recent years. But who knows, maybe this is a new era. PSG haven’t really been too impressive this season and there are all sorts of question marks surrounding them. Both teams have suspensions. For PSG Van Der Wiel and Thiago Motta, whilst OM have Andre Ayew, Romao and Morel ruled out. I think those absences kinda counterbalance each other out, it’s just a question of who plays best on the night. I think OM will actually play much better against PSG than they have done in their last 5 which were all defeats. There is a chance they could get a draw tonight, I’d say something like 1-1 is a possibility. I’m not going to bet the fixture though, this is an extremely volatile match and if PSG produce their best football then they’ll win. Prediction: PSG 1-1 Marseille NO BET

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 7th - 9th Won both bets with Lyon and Reims today. Grrrrr so annoyed with the PSG match though. As a Marseille fan, bitterly disappointed. They should never have lost that game, arguably played the better football. Anyone who is reading this and backed PSG, you are jammy bastards! And yes, this is sour grapes haha.
