Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Championship: Millwall-Blackburn Rovers These two met at the end of last season, at the time Millwall were at the foot of the table with games fast running out and Rovers just running into form and with an outside chance of making the playoffs ..... The two previews today are centred around the bottom three, they all look in big trouble, they might only be three points behind Charlton, but Athletic have 2-3 games in hand and taking goal difference into account, the trio probably need to pick up seven + points with time fast running out. Millwall are coming off a costly 3-2 home defeat to Birmingham City in midweek, a win there would have dragged the Blues right into the heart of the equation, now they have a buffer over the drop zone and the Lions case is clear and they have to be all guns blazing for the three points today. Rovers were also involved in a high scoring match in midweek, sharing six goals with Watford at Vicarage Road, that is their second straight high scoring away game, after winning 4-2 at Huddersfield. There is no point in thir holding back here either, they are safe in midtable, but "only" eight points behind Reading who hold the final playoff spot, with a game in hand. They have home games up next against teams in 8th and 9th, so a mathematical chance still, but one which will effectively evaporate if they do not win this afternoon. Lions boss Ian Holloway said after the midweek loss:"We've got eight games left and we've probably got to win five of them, then we might stay up."You probably think I'm crazy, but I don't. I think we can do it with the chances we are creating. "I'm devastated, I have to say that. It was a must-not-lose game and we've lost it. We've got to keep fighting." Rovers are still talking about the post season and feel they have build up a lot of momentum over the last three games. A draw will not help either team overly much, both are happier on the front foot and their need will drive them forward. The Lions led twice, but Rovers were the better team for my money and came away with a 2-2 draw, that helped us as we took the "over", but was a blow to their respective ambitions. However, Millwall did survive and Rovers came up just two points short of a post season spot, after collecting 39 points through the second half of the season which was 5th best in the division and would have been enough for exactly that, a 5th placed finish over a full campaign. They have started along similar lines this season and are just a point off 5th spot and they have clearly been playing at exactly this level since Christmas. They showed great ambition by extending the contract of star striker Jordan Rhodes in the summer and elsewhere made shoring up a backline which was too porous at times, a priority and whilst they have conceded the most goals of any team in the top half of the Championship, those numbers are improving now that new players are bedding in and changes taking effect and in terms of productivity at the other end of the pitch, they have created the second most attempts on goal and also on target. Worrying for the rest of the division is that Rhodes has not fully hit his stride yet and "only" has five goals, Rudy Gestede has eight and Ben Marshall six. Reports on Marshall have been amazing, rave reviews and my friend who is a Reading supporter said that he could have beaten the Royals on his own at the weekend, as it was, Rovers won 3-1 and Rhodes wasted three golden opportunities and if this team can find some real consistency and Rhodes his touch and that will definitely come, as he is far too good a striker at this level for it not to, there is no telling how far they could go . Hosts have "forgotten" how to win and have tasted victory just once in ten starts, which came here at the New Den against a poor travelling Cardiff team who missed two one on one's before Millwall scored the only goal of the game. This is a game the visitors should be looking to win if they hold genuine top 6 ambitions. 1.5 units Blackburn Rovers level ball 2.02 asian line/Sportmarket.

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Middlesbrough-Norwich I´m on Norwich today. After a little "break" on his good Good Form i think now the team is going up in Form. Also Norwich Top Scorrer Jerome are fit after a little injury against Friday´s Game against Bolton. Good for Norwich. Norwich also away with good 4-1-2, while Middlesbrough isn´t that good Home team. They are better when they can play away with counter attack. I think that will not the type to knock out Norwich today. Also Borough with some injured players. Williams, Woodgate, Abella and Carayol all injured. Only Adomah are on bench after coming back from injury. I think it will be a tough game and the odds on Norwich for me a little bit to high. Norwich @ 3.35 3/10 Pinn

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Reading-Rotherham Booth are not good in Form, but today is for me the PLUS pro Reading. Because they are playing at home. At Home Reading are not that bad with 4-1-2. They are only 15th Place because they are bad in Away Games. But today at Home and they are with some good Player News. Hector are back from Suspension and also Ferdinand and Williams are back. All defensive Players which give Reading more stability. On the other side Rotherham with 1-3-3 not that good away team and today they are missing his striker Duo Revell (Injury) and Bowery (Suspension). Rotherham are not shooting much goals and now with Revell (Top Scorer) and Bowery missing that will not be a positive boost for the team. So for me here: Reading @ 2.02 4/10 Pinn

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th For me the best bet of the night is on ......:drums Bournemouth. Bournemouth are the hottest team in the Championship with 5 wins in a row. Bolton, Charlton, Reading, Birmingham and Brighton the 5 victims. They have won 6 of 7 game losing 2-0 away to Derby. Sheffield Weds don't lose many games (only 3 this season), but they are draw specialists. They have drawn 5 of their last 6 outings, with goals very hard to come by. They have not scored more than 1 goal in any of their last 8 games. They are particularly low scoring in the 1st half of games, with just 2 1st half goals in 11 starts. Bournemouth and Derby are the best 1st half teams in the league. Derby have lost 1 in 15 1st half games, while Bournemouth are similar. Bournemouth have conceded just 2 1st half goals in 11 games. Defensively they look decent ! The away win against a team that draws so many games could be a tough ask. However, the odds of 2.35 or so are more than decent. Perhaps a slightly more conservative bet would be the Bournemouth DRAW NO BET at odds as high as 1.75 but probably closer to 1.67 . The risky option here is Bournemouth HT/FT which is as high as 3.9. Maybe a small bet as Bournemouth have won 3 of their last 4 games HT/FT and just don't concede 1st half goals ... Will go a standard 2 units on the away win here

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Huge Fulham fan here. On tonight's game I would be very cautious of getting involved or putting it in a multi. I would have predicted us to be atleast 1.44 or lower in our current form because we should be beating Blackpool comfortably now we have things together. However it started at 1.55 and has drifted to 1.60 now. 1.60 is way to big for a game that should be very comfortable for us. McCormack is out but that wouldn't change the price. He is a valuable member but the bookies are telling us something here. I personally lumped on at start of week because I thought that price would shorten but it has drifted. He might change the team around and play full strength against Huddersfield and hope the kids can get a w tonight but I would be careful. As I said I went big earlier in the week but if I waited I would have waited until last minute to see line up. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Fulham v Blackpool Fulham have finally woken up to the fact that they are in the Championship. It was a culture shock for them. They started the season really badly, but are finding their way now. They have 3 wins in a row at home all to NIL. This is against a Blackpool team that has lost 6/8 away games and 5/7 home games. In 7 away games Blackpool have managed just 1 clean sheet in the 1st half. Fulham have won 4 of their last 5 1st half games at home, ALL of them without conceding a goal. Fulham are probably going to score and win the 1st half. They do it, and they will win the game. I really like the HT/FT home win here at great odds of 2.35 for 3 units

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Fulham v Blackpool. Away win 11/2 stake 2 units (out of 10) I think that Ross McCormack is a big miss for Fulham. Only Rodallega has scored more than him in the league. Blackpool haven't been as bad as their results suggest. They recently lost 2-0 at home to Ipswich but Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy was quoted as saying : "I think it was terrific performance. It was a solid performance and we had to withstand a bit of an onslaught as well at times. "Their two strikers, Nile Ranger and Ishmael Miller, they're a handful them. Nathan Delfouneso too. There's lots of them that have been places and been thought highly of." The statistics show Blackpool matched Ipswich. Same shots on goal (13) and Blackpool had 1 more shot on target. Also Blackpool had 1 more corner. I know teams are a different proposition away from home, and Blackpool lost their last away game 3-0 at Reading but I don't think they were disgraced. They had 51% possession and managed 9 shots on goal (with 3 on target). I think with the appointment of Lee Clarke (though not great at Birmingham) is still he probably is a breath of fresh air compared to Jose Riga. They also signed Jamie O'Hara (once of Spurs and Wolves). Though without a club for a while at least competition for places is picking up with him signing. He is not eligible tonight but confidence may be higher than usual just having him around. There were 10 games last night in the Championship . This game and the Notts F v Brentford complete the round. There was only 1 away last night so another away out of tonight's games would not surprise me. I think given the price and the respective profiles of the teams this game lends itself to an away more so.

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th Nottingham-Brentford I´m going here on Nottingham. For sure they are not good in Form and they are waiting on a win since 8 Games. 8 Games not wining, this is horrible, but for me Nottingham has the quality to turn back the things positiv. And when you look neutral on the games you see, Forrest had playing against some good Teams from Championship. Watford, Cardiff, Ipswich.... Teams why you can not becoming for sure 3 Points. These teams will be fighting the whole season with Forrest for an PlayOff Place. Also on Forrest side Wilson and Fryatt are back in team after booth missing last game. Little Plus here for Nottingham´s quality. On the other Side Brentford a team who playing constantly unconstantly.... On a win, follows a Draw, on this a win, and maybe then 2 Loosing Games. Hard to Predict here. But i think today they are not strong enough. First they was winning against Derby on Weekend Game and i think thats cost some Freshness here. Also MacCormack are still out. Brentford also looses last 3 of 4 Away Games and the 4th Game are ending in a Draw. Also they are away by 2-1-4 but 2 wins was against Blackpool and Rotherham. So still nothing special. For me here today: Nottingham @ 1.90 4/10 Interwetten

Re: Sky Bet Championhip > November 4th & 5th I'll just pass on some info from another page which tracks odds changes, Nottingham odds have changed substantially since the opening, a drop of 15 % on the home win. Its actually not very useful information, after the drop, but nonetheless here it is. I'm having a small go on them myself and the same may be possible if you have an obscure local bookie nearby. Mine thinks it is monday morning on a wednesday night. Cheers

30 mins gone 2-0 to Blackpool . I'm able to lay them off at 4/7 on Ladbrokes Exchange .
