Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Hereford - Macclesfield Conference Premier England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Macclesfield Odds: 2,75 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: Bet365 Hereford currently placed 18th in the table, lost 3 in a row with the goal difference 0-12. They are better than that, but we can see them struggle again, now at home to a potential and always offensive dangerous Macclesfield. An Macclesfield currently placed 12th in the table, have shown doubtful form recently losing 2 in a row, but played Luton and a capable Woking. This is a must win for Macclesfield if they want to keep their play-off hopes alive. They have 3-4 games in hand to the teams above them, and we see Macclesfield as a play-off team. Hereford obviously with major financial crisis, and a form that is not very impressive. However they are despite all of field problems a decent side. However Macclesfield have a few players offensively that could really hurt Hereford. Away win for us!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Dartford - Aldershot Conference Premier England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Dartford Odds: 3,25 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: WilliamHill Dartford on fire at the moment. We predicted them to win on Saturday at home to Hereford, and they won 2-0 after a wondergoal from L.Noble, an absolute volley screamer from outside the box. If you haven´t seen this goal, goal of the season, lower divisions? See link:

So, Dartford now with 3 wins in a row, 4 wins in the last 5 and it´s a very positive tone around the club at the moment. Dartford have really picked themselfs up the last few weeks. This is quite a tough game for Dartford, Aldershot has potential. Currently placed 2 positions above Dartford in the table, on the same points but 2 games in hand. Aldershot have only won 1 in the last 6, and usually struggle on the road. We predict Dartford to continue their momentum here, and get another important win!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Stourbridge away at Banbury United (4/5, Marathon); Stourbridge HT-FT, 11/8 Bet365) Despite the thumping by Hemel, Stourbridge are a capable side, who've done the HT-FT in their last three away games. The problems at Banbury are more than just tactical at the moment - they've now conceded 18 in the last four. The personnel isn't right, and there's a growing sense that things are not quite right off the field and they could be in for a sticky end to the season. I'm happy to take these two plays on Stourbridge.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Interesting to read the match report in the paper today of the Dartford game which suggests Hereford were all over Dartford in the 2nd half until a wonder strike got them over the line. I am not sure I would want to be opposing them as much as I did on Saturday if it all.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Any value on whitehawk at havant tonight? My thinking is that havant will be demoralised after missing out on a once in a lifetime chance of a Wembley final and will find it hard to raise themselves tonight. I will take a chance on whitehawk also ht|ft and minus1 whitehawk.game will be in running as well I believe

Agree with this. Steve King has had an impact since coming in as manager and their game was called off on Saturday so will have much fresher legs than their rivals who as you point out blew a massive chance to get to Wembley on Saturday. Over 3/1 is a big price.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Dartford v Aldershot Pick Over 2.75 goals @ 2.05 Sbobet Dartford kept their first clean sheet in 21 league games on Saturday but they were lucky to do so with Hereford guilty of not taking their chances. However it maintained their impressive run of form and they now have a real chance of avoiding relegation. That cause will be helped if they can defeat an Aldershot side who don't travel well, but need to win this one to help their own relegation battle.13 of their last 14 league games have had 3 or more goals and their last 5 games have produced 19 goals. Both sides scoring plenty of late but also frail at the back,so with a much neede 3 points at stake I see a high scoring game here.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 On the spreads tonight, I've sold the time of the 2nd Cambridge United goal away at Braintree Town. This is somewhat contrarian as Cambridge United - bar games at Barnet, Welling and Dartford - have coming back from away matches with 0s and 1s. But tonight they've a good chance, I think. Braintree were superb at Kidderminster for an hour before flagging after their long lay-off and they'll be some way off match sharpness. Sporting and Spreadex are offering the Cambridge time at 78 to sell and that's far higher than I can make it. They've been mixing and matching strikers, but Ryan Bird is staying for a further month and they will see this as a good chance to get some league momentum going. Given that only Grimsby have conceded fewer goals than Cambridge on the road, Braintree's mini-performance is a sell at 18 with Sporting. I've also sold Chester's 2nd at 78 with Spreadex. Chester are having a problem killing off games but they are a more front-foot side under Steve Burr and Tamworth are regular conceders at home. This match is one of a series of mouth-watering relegation match-ups over the next few weeks, and the stress of the situation often has a deadening effect on goals, but I have a feeling that Chester are close to finding a result that matches their performance. Woking's away form is topsy-turvey but the time of their second goal is a sporting 80 to sell tonight (Sporting Index). That mark would have made a profit in four of the last seven Woking away games. Of the three that it wouldn't, games at Welling and Dartford were marred by first half red cards. Kidderminster aren't the happiest of ships at the moment, with the fall-out of Burr's departure still apparent, and if they start as abjectly as they did against Braintree this could make up nicely.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 3 games have my interest today which are based mainly of current form and statistics as I do not have the insight of addpea and ships regarding team news and situation in the clubs. First of all I think Luton (-1 AH) @ 1.93 are a decent play as they are really on fire at the moment - they have scored 17 in the last 5 and have conceded only 1. At home they have won almost everything and are playing a side which seems to be in some kind of crisis at the moment losing 2 and drawing 1 of the last 3 games and which is generally not very good in away games. Next game is the Dartford one - even though addpea said they were pushed hard in the 2nd half by Hereford, I consider this a positive sign that they managed to hold back and use their chances upfront and deliver a solid 2-0 victory. They are currently one of the best teams on form, just behind Luton and I expect them to continue with the good run. I cannot understand why they are the underdogs here against a side which is generally quite bad on the road and which has just failed to win against Hyde only getting a 2-2 draw... 2.20 for Dartford (0 AH) seems really big value to me. Lastly, the odds have drifted on Cambridge and they seem playable now on the asian handicap at around evens with the draw covered. They had some tough games and this one looks good to get out of the crisis. Any idea why the odds changes so much in the last hours? Any comments are appreciated.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Conference plays (all small to win 0.5 unit stakes): Southport/Grimsby Over 1 goal 1st half @ Evens; Dartford/Aldershot Over 1 goal 1st half @ -126; Tamworth/Chester Over 1 goal 1st half @ Evens; Luton -1 A.H. @ -108 at home to Wrexham... Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Luton are short @ 1.53, but rightly so. The perfect team to back when backing odds on, scoring for fun, conceding barley any, fantastic home form (12-3-0) and goals scored (44), nearly 80 scored in total this season. Wrexham on the other hand are in a rut, playing poorly recently, and with poor away form, winning just 4 conceding 26 goals. Theyve had a few tough games lately against Barnet and Cambridge, but also struggled badly to see off lowly Southport and losing to awful Dartford, also only seeing off woeful Hyde with 3 late goals in a 5-2 win. If Wrexham play their best they can frustrate Luton for spells, but if Luton turn up playing anything like they have been over the last few months, nothing can be done to prevent a home win imvho as they`ll score at least 3 tonight. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 I am going to take my chances on some big prices in tonight’sSkrill Premier action.

Braintree v Cambridge United

Finally Braintree get to play a home game and I think they areworth backing at 7/4 with Coral to gain three points as well. Braintreereturned from their enforced winter break by playing really well againstKidderminster on Saturday. Granted they blew a two goal lead, but it wasunderstandable that they would maybe feel the effects of not having played forso long late on. Cambridge have been awful in the league for a few weeks nowand have only beaten Tamworth in their last 7 league matches. They didn’t evenhave a shot on target against Wrexham last week. To be fair they played reallywell in both legs of the FA Trophy semi-final to beat Grimsby, but they justhaven’t been the same in the league. I think Braintree offer value tonight.

Dartford v Aldershot

Dartford were successful Nap’s on Saturday, although they were abit lucky to land the spoils as Hereford played really well and it was a wondergoal which killed the game off. Still it continues their great run of form andthey host an Aldershot side who continue to struggle on the road as their drawagainst Hyde showed on Saturday. Dartford are 11/5 with Bet 365 which makes nosense whatsoever. How on earth they aren’t favourites to win this game I don’tknow and that is huge value.

Hereford v Macclesfield

As I mention above Hereford played much better on Saturday thanthey have of late and I think they are value to win tonight now they are backat home. The three games they lost were all on the road and when they lastplayed at home they were actually getting results. Macclesfield seem really inconsistentat the moment and their away form hasn’t really looked anything special allseason. They have lost four of their last six on the road and one of the winswas against Hyde. At 21/10 with William Hill Hereford are the value call here.

Kidderminster v Woking

Woking are another frustrating side as they seem to struggle toput to good performances back to back, but hopefully they will do tonight asthey take on a Kidderminster side who are struggling big time since Andy Thorntook over as manager. They have only won one league game since he took over andit is rather suprising why they continue to be so short in the betting. Wokinghave the players to beat them tonight and if they can play like they didagainst Macclesfield then they will win. Like I say they aren’t the most consistentbut at Paddy Power’s 5/2 I am more than happy to take a chance.

Luton v Wrexham

In seasons gone by this would have been a massive game, but not sothis season as Wrexham have struggled, whilst Luton are almost certain to winthe league. They have been incredible and it is hard to see them slipping uptonight against mangerless Wrexham. Instead of taking the short odds I think itis worth backing Luton to cover the -1 handicap at 6/4.

Southport v Grimsby

This is the riskiest bet of the night but then the price reflectsthat. Grimsby don’t really convince me at all and they have only won one leaguegame in the last six. They were knocked out of the FA Trophy on Saturday andthat I think will affect them going into this game. Granted Southport arestruggling a little, but they are pretty hard to beat at home and they playedwell despite losing 3-1 to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday. At Skybet’s 18/5 Ithink it is worth chancing the home side.

Tamworth v Chester

A relegation battle here and I am siding with Chester who seem tobe playing better than their hosts at the moment. Steve Burr is getting aresponse from his players and they were unfortunate not to get the win onSaturday against Lincoln. Tamworth meanwhile left it late in the day to get apoint against Welling. That was only their second point in the last five gamesand the other one came against Hyde. I think Chester have enough to beat theirhosts and are worth backing at a general 9/5.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Two bets for me tonight in what looks a tricky set of RPL fixtures. I'm backing two draws - Billericay/Lowestoft @ 5/2 and Met Police/Enfield @ 14/5 I watched the Carshalton/Lowestoft match on Saturday and it's very possibly the worst 90 minutes of football witnessed by mankind. Lowestoft looked as poor as I've seen them and I don't think that there'll be too many chances tonight in what is sure to be another dire match on the what's undoubtedly the poorest playing surface in the league. The Met/Enfield is a good match-up against two teams that usually start with a 4-5-1 formation. Both sides have solid enough defences and goals could be at a premium in this match, too. I'm siding with the draw. Two singles and a double that pays 12.3/1

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26

On the spreads tonight, I've sold the time of the 2nd Cambridge United goal away at Braintree Town.
Braintree were poor at Kidderminster on Saturday, but the home side were even poorer. Harriers had only two shots on target - the late goals from Amari Morgan-Smith and a looping header from Gowling hit the top of the crossbar which would have given a laughable 3-2 win for the home side. It was literally only in the last 15 minutes that Braintree had any defending to do, and they were shambolic. With the Trophy Final under their belts now, I feel even an average Cambridge side could do the business at Braintree this evening. Going against the stats, but believing the evidence of my own eyes on Saturday, I have a hunch that Cambridge will have a few decent scoring opportunities tonight and have bought their goal rush at 14 with Sporting Index.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 whats going on at kiddy Labrador? the chairmans resigned because of abuse after dispensing with the popular and great manager imo steve burr and the team don't seem to be playing for andy thorn? it seems like hes upset the applecart with too many new signings doesn't it? anyway I agree with adpes that there is plenty of value on woking so that's the bet for me, also looking at two goals and three goals scored by woking

Value on Dartford long gone. When we put the prediction 23/2 22:45 it was 3,25, now its between 2,80-3,00. Agree on Southport, we had them last game away at 9,96 and it werent that far away. Grimsby not in a good state atm.

It is an interesting viewpoint, but Cambridge have not exactly come out all guns blazing away from home this season and they have often struggled to have any shots on goal themselves.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26

Value on Dartford long gone. When we put the prediction 23/2 22:45 it was 3' date='25, now its between 2,80-3,00.[/quote'] I think that's still value, even it is less value than it was earlier in the day. Given Aldershot's less than watertight defence, and their unfocused midfield with the continuing absence of Mark Molesely, I think 2.5 is about par for Dartford.

But 3,25 was massive value. Feels good to sit with this one now at 3,25. Good luck everyone and thanks for all brilliant work!

I actually got 21/10 myself and I posted it on here just after my bets.

Dartford - Aldershot Conference Premier England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Dartford Odds: 3,25 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: WilliamHill Dartford on fire at the moment.
3,25 then, around 2,75 now.

Hereford - Macclesfield Conference Premier England Tuesday 25/2 20:45 Prediction: Macclesfield Odds: 2,75 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: Bet365 Hereford currently placed 18th in the table, lost 3 in a row with the goal difference 0-12.
2,75 then, 2,25 now ..

Luton are short @ 1.53, but rightly so. Not rocket science I know, but still, the best bet on tonights entire football schedule.
Don't usually bet non-league but your comments caught my eye. Had them HT/FT at evs, then , when they went 1-0 they were 1-6 on, backed them again, at 2-0 , they went 1-25 on. I actually put half my bank on at this stage. Then I checked the stats and Wrexham at that stage had also had the only corner of the game and 2 shots on target as well so had I seen that I wouldn't have backed them blind. Anyhow they gone 3-0 up after 20 mins and are 1-200 on !

Luton are absolute beasts! 2-0 after 6 mins, 3-0 on 17, 4-0 on 35, the thing is , it could have been 10, and its not even HT!
