Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th Ludogorets-Lazio. Yesterday Ludogorets were not gret away to Botev Plovdiv(2:2).Ludogorets were happy to take the point and run while Botev made a good selection and expectations were big.The team news would be crucial for the game.If Reja play his best 11 i fully expect LAzio to win.2nd half in Rome suggest that if Lazio put their best performance they should win it.There were bunch of shots towards Stoyanov who had his day.I am waiting for the line-ups for now but bet365 offers odds of 3.25 for Lazio to qualify so if they rise to 3.5 i will take them no matter what squad they start with.Yesterday Ludogorets defence looked clumsy but i should say that Ludogorets scored a gol which was diallowed and there was a 100% penalty which wasn't given.ANyway Ludogorets are capable of scoring again but they will concede.I said that last time too but if someone of you have watched the reversed fixture in Rome he should have seen that Lazio missed a penalty and 2,3 very good chances to score.Bet365 offers 1.85 for BTTS-Yes.

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th It has been confirmed that Eduardo Reja will play with his A team.We saw what happened after Candreva came in during the second half.He brought speed and creativity in the game, just what Klose needs.Ludogorets's president said that the palyers would be awarded by 10 000 euro each if they eliminate Lazio.About 10 A.M tomorrow about 22 000 tickets had been sold.I expect the stadium to be almost full of crowd. So a great atmosphere is expected to be seen.Anyway my main bet will be BTTS-Yes @ 1.85 and small punt on Lazio to qualify @ 3.5 and CS-1:3 @ 23.All with bet365

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th 4pts Napoli vs Swansea - Over 2.5 goals 5/6 BetVictor I’m sure Swansea will set up looking to score in this match because it will be hard to contain Napoli for another 90 minutes. Should they score Napoli will have to come out and open up a little and the game could become quite attacking so with that in mind the over 2.5 goals appeals. Both sides have goals in them and I think we’ll see that here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/napoli-vs-swansea-betting-a-swansea-goal-could-open-this-tie-up 5pts Tottenham to qualify Evs Paddy Power Although they trail going into this second leg I still believe the tie is Spurs’ to lose and I expect them to come through and make it into the next round. Should Dnipro score that task becomes more difficult but it isn’t beyond Spurs to score three times here so I believe the even money on the London side qualifying looks a little bit tasty. I’d expect them to win well enough to progress. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/tottenham-vs-dnipro-betting-spurs-look-good-value-to-qualify-for-the-last-16

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th Eintracht Frankfurt - Porto Bet: Over 2.5 @ 2.05 (Pinnace) (3/10) A match which I expect to be very offensive. The first game between these two clubs ended 2-2. In that game Porto was the better team for the first 70 minutes and had a LOT of good chances. However they were only able to score two times out of all the chances and especially Martinez missed a lot of good chances. Once Porto scored the 2-0 Frankfurt showed really good will power and was able to score the 1-2 and later on even the 2-2. Their will power was really convincing but they were still dominated by Porto the first 70 minutes. Then in league you could see that Frankfurt was tired of the Euro League game against Bremen and wasn't able to score in that game even though they were one man more. Main reason was that Bremen could defend the whole 90 minutes. Now in this match Porto does have to score and a 1-0 alone wouldn't put them on a safe side as Frankfurt just would need one goal to get into the next round. So Porto will have to press for a 2-0 lead at least and can't relie on an easy 1-0 lead. This will make it easier for Frankfurt to counter attack once again and even when Frankfurt will be behind you can be sure that they will fight with all they got. In addition Frankfurt will be without some main defensive players. Russ is suspended, Anderson is injured and Rode won't be able to play for Frankfurt anymore (injured for the rest of the season and will leave the club afterwards). As Porto also showed some problems in defense when it comes against opponents who have a lot of will power I see this match ending with over 2.5 goals.

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th Anyone know what kind of side Ajax will be playing in their match in Salzburg? I think there may be value in backing them as Salzburg have the tie sewn up already and have a big match in the league against Rapid coming up at the weekend. Ajax will surely want to restore some pride.

The game is sold out, Salzburg have already won the league - as good as - so the league games in reality mean little. Salzburg rotated about 7 players at the weekend so there is no doubt they will field a first choice XI tomorrow. The first game was predicted by some, can't imagine many would have predicted such a margin of victory though. Ajax are still competing in the league and have a tough game away to rivals Feyenoord at the weekend so I imagine it's more likely Ajax will rest some players with this game in mind. Wouldn't like to predict this one really Salzburg look short considering they have such a lead already, one to avoid for me.

The rotation in the weekend game in fact saw some first-choice players in late, to strech out a bit, another total massacre by Red Bull. These guys will play A Team tomorrow, and only possibly give rest to a couple if they have a comfortable lead in the second half. A second, and hopefully good win over a name like Ajax is far more important to hosts than the game with Rapid or anyone at home league, mwhere if they stop playing next week, they still will win the title. Way to go IMO is Salzburg to win, Salzburg to beat the -1,5 H'cap, over 3 Goals...All the momentum is with the hosts, and that first half in Amsterdam showed pure class as well, in all lines. Ajax were reduced to a couple of messy chances, and you don't see this very often with teams of this caliber...

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th The odds moved towards Ludogorets, I was late to take them at 0AH, so no bet for me. The team has a good advantage from the first game, the approach will the same as it was in all dificult games so far - at Eindhoven, in Zagreb, in Rome...All efforts focused on the defence, and killer-breaks. Their run so far shows they don't need many chances to score, a couple will be enough as they are efficient. Way to go here is which team wants this game more. I would never say Lazio have written this game off, but I still fancy Ludogorets to go through... Similar scenarion is what I expect in Frankfurt, host need no rush early and will start compact at the back. The difference is that Porto are very much used to such approach from most games at home and in Europe over the years. If Porto gradually build the pressure, they might as well go home with a win. Another no bet, but a certain in-play, because a goal or two in the first half regardless which way will open great betting opportunities. If forced to bet though, I would still back Porto, only odds are short to me... In Trabzon I expect a lot of goals. The Turks got nothing to lose, only to gain, and will go forward with all they got vs Juve. Over 3 Goals might be covered just by Juve counters on a good day, and I see no reason why Trabzon should not contribute to the Over here. Elsewhere it looks like home wins all over...The point is to reduce the number of the potential banana skins. To me it will be no surprise to see Dnipro, Esbjerg, Kyiv, PAOK, Maribor and Liberec scoring away...Overall out of 16 games I see potential for Over 2,5 Goals in at least 11 games. So will spend good 4+ hours in-play :-)

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th Juventus XI Buffon, Barzagli, Ogbonna, Caceres, Isla, Vidal, Marchisio, Padoin, Peluso, Osvaldo Giovinco. Vidal will play all the match cause is banned for Sunday evening match against Milan Maybe Marchisio will play only 1st and Pogba 2nd half cause both will play sunday evening Conte wants to rotate all players, cause he considers not enough 70 hours between 2 matches

Just wanted to alert you guys that TOTEsport are giving 12/1 on a frankfurt win' date=' it is an obvious mistake but if you keep your stake small maybe 5 nor 10 euros maybe they will pay at 12/1[/quote'] Just checked and already corrected to 2/1.

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th Rubin Kazan v Real Bettis I am all over Rubin in this match. They managed to get an important draw on the road against Bettis. Bettis will travel to the COLD home of Rubin. The cold climate should be an advantage for the russians, i guess i dont need to explain why. Another fact is that Bettis kinda sucks in the role of travelers they lost their last 4/5 matches on the road. Bettis is rock bottom in La Liga, they won only 3 matches out of 25 rounds in their league. They know even if they qualify for the round of 16 in Europa League they dont have a chance to go further...their main focus is La Liga now. On the other hand Rubin Kazan is still on winter break and their main focus is Europa League. They played a few friendlies and they looked quite solid. Rubin had lost at home for the last time in this tournament against Atletico Madrid in february last year. So everything points towards a home win here and thats what i will bet on. I am also considering under 2.5 goals, but the main bet is Rubin to win. GL all! Possible lineups: Rubin Kazan: 1 Sergei Ryzhikov, 76 Roman Sharonov, 5 Solomon Kverkvelia, 4 Taras Burlak, 61 Gokdeniz Karadeniz, 10 Dmitri Torbinsky, 23 Roman Eremenko, 90 Yann M'Vila, 7 Vladislav Kulik, 15 Sergey Kisliak, 81 Ruslan Mukhametshin Real Betis: 1 Antonio Adán, 18 Alfred Ndiaye, 15 Damien Perquis, 12 Didac, 11 Juanfran, 14 Salva Sevilla, 21 Lorenzo Reyes, 8 Nono, 22 Cedric, 6 Leo Baptistao, 24 Rubén Castro Rubin Kazan to win @marathonbet odds 1.86 Stake 6.5/10

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th It's hard to pick overs in these legs to be honest. I see many unders.. Only game I fancy to go over is Eintracht vs Porto cause Porto needs a win or a lot of goals. Eintracht is also surely capable of scoring at home! 2th leg is Fiorentina hosting Esbjerg.. Danish team got nothing to loose and scored in 3 of their 4 away games in the group. Fiorentina might also rotate a bit for their weekend game against Lazio. They often play a open style of football and goals are on the cards for me.

I agree with a Rubin win in this but I would have thought Betis have all but given up on La Liga as they are so far adrift it is almost impossible they can get out of trouble in the league. Seems they would put there focus on the Europa League now instead. Hopefully that still won't be enough to get anything here!

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th anybody else surprised at the odds for Genk. Upon further examination they haven't won at home since december, but Anzhi were well documented in the last thread about the firesale they've been through and in middle of offseason. Genk should really fancy themselves to keep another cleansheet here vs a team in Anzhi that has much more to worry about then this europa campaign. maybe someone more familiar with the belgians can chime in. elsewhere, odds keep improving for Frankfurt and i really don't know why. Porto, while a solid squad, are definitley in their roughest patch of form in years. Players and fans openly against the manager, and if blowing the 2-0 lead in the first leg wasn't enough they lost at home in the league on the weekend.

Re: Europa League > Thursday February 27th

I was thinking about looking at backing 'overs' in some of these second legs. I was surprised though to see that at this stage last year, only 3 of the 13 second legs were overs, the rest were unders - http://uk.soccerway.com/international/europe/uefa-cup/20122013/s7135/final-stages/
Europa League is always very 'underish'. I've made 3 bets so far on total goals, and I won 3 times. It was very profitable in the group stage, but I won't do it tonight because a second leg is something different.

Some players already said that he'll change their style of playing drastically. Former coach Mario Been focused on ball possession, while Ferrera will focus on organization and a more direct style. I saw parts of the first leg, and both teams were truly awful on a pitch where even a Conference team would be ashamed of. Both teams had a few good chances, but the 0-0 was logical.
