Doubles -0.46pnts. Treble -1.5pnts Bet 4: Notts were set 314-5 by Middx & were bowled out for 283. -2pnts I make that a loss of -9.42pnts on the week, but I'll check & do a table by tuesday night, but I'm virtually back where I started, but its keeping me amused so I'll carry on TBH. I think northants went into this 20/20 very underated, but after one admittedly impressive win they are big odds on to Warwicks, who are very dangerous batting wise. This is an over reaction in my eyes. I think northants could do well in this competition but for Warwicks to be over evens is wrong. Nick Knight remains one of the best one day players in the country, & together with Bell, if they bat for 15 overs Warwicks will win, so they should not be 11/10 Bet 10: Glamorgan to beat Gloucs away @ 4/7. 3pnts. Gloucs were very poor yesterday, & Glammy are a good one day side & look strong here IMO. Bet 11: Kent to beat Essex @ 5/6. 3pnts. I did feel that Australia held the upper hand after Tresco took Englands foot off the throat by allowing them to bat first last thursday @ Durham, but I've decided 8/15 is no value @ all theway its gone, so I'm backing England. England have a 14-9 record @Edgbaston & historically its one of their best supported grounds (brummies see ;) ) & 2 of the 3 day/nighters have been won batting first.
