Abd El Kader french
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th An Falcao score and Monaco win can be a good bet this friday , Monaco has lost their last 2 match , one in cup against Reims and one in ligue1 against Lille (two good playing team) This is a must win for them , they cant let PSG and Lille take the lead without a good reaction today i think Home Win is a banker ,but the odds is not good (maybe on an accumulator with PSG,Bayern,Dortmund or draw,Barca) i dont have choose my bet , i waiting to read you Monaco is @1.317 on pinnacle
Claugol
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th I didn't see Evian this season but I saw Monaco and they looked very strong. I read that Evian have some missings tonight. Is this true? Also maybe Meatman can share some ideas about this close to be "banker". Is there any reason why we should not put Monaco to win in a short combo?
neilovan
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th Monaco will win this game , but where is the value ? They have been very good in the 1st half of home games. They have won 5 of 6 1st halves. Every time they have won a 1st half, they have gone on to win the game. The only game they failed to do this was against Toulouse which ended 0-0. Coupled with this is the need for 3 points, to stay in touch with Lille and PSG. I really like the HT/FT Monaco Monaco at 1.73 and will take it for 3 units.
meatman
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th Monaco – Evian Les Monegasques are unchanged for this match and coach Claudio Ranieri has named the same squad that travelled to Lille last Sunday. Monaco have no injuries or suspensions to worry about yet again. Evian aren’t in bad condition either although do have a couple of key players out. First choice GK Laquait remains injured, whilst right back Brice Dja Djedje is another on the treatment table. Defender/midfielder Cedric Cambon is suspended, but their most notable absentee continues to be striker Kevin Beriguad. His goals will be missed. Monaco must be hurting right now. They’ve lost both of their last 2 games, the first of which was a cup exit at Reims. That loss didn’t matter so much but then they lost their unbeaten Ligue record by going down 0-2 at Lille last Sunday. Monaco just weren’t at the races and produced arguably their worst performance of the season. The only positive factor is that at least they were facing a decent side, Lille are in good form recently and many people would argue that a loss to them at the moment is no disgrace. Evian aren’t a disastrous side by any means. but they are mediocre at best and away from home renowned for being poor. They’ve only played 5 road games so far this season and surprisingly won 2 of them. However, those wins came at Ajaccio and Valenciennes so hardly against decent opposition. In the other 3 away games they played, all were lost by at least a 2 goal margin. Evian have conceded the 3rd most goals of any side in Ligue 1 so far this year, they do struggle to defend although can pose some attacking threat. I just think Monaco will be far too good for them here. They’ll want to hit back after their recent setbacks. Good sides are usually very focused heading into international breaks too and I could see them running riot if their big players are motivated. A line of -1.5 looked generous enough here and one which I’m happy to take. Prediction: Monaco 4-1 Evian Recommended bet: Monaco -1.5 @ 2.0 4/
mikki24
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th nice job meatman as always :clap But I dont like ranieri taktics and coaching and I think it will be tight game. monaco is under bigger pressure after two loses, they destroyed only poor bastia and montpeliere at home for more goals. visitors are without important attacker so btts NO @ 1,67 bet365 is saver bet for me. at monaco is in better form only falcao. riviere last time scored in september. thanks to his impotence they have lost in cup, where falcao could not play due his suspension. so when if evian will defend striker from columbia, it will be under too. for me its HW and under 3,5 or rather under 3 @ 1,75 Maratonbet. gl :)

meatman
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th Monaco, terrible performance. I totally called this one wrong and have no complaints about losing on them. Evian actually should've won the game and Monaco lucky with a draw. PSG – Nice The hosts only have 1 absentee and thats midfielder Marco Verratti. Cavani is back for this game but it’ll probably be from the bench considering Blanc usually only likes to employ one striker. Nice dont have problems except in one area. Unfortunately, it’s rather a key position though as vital GK David Ospina is out. Young star for the future Mouez Hassan is also injured so it’ll be Lucas Veronese in between the sticks. Nice don’t really have any other important injuries, they welcome back midfielder Mahamane Traore from suspension which is a boost. Normally an injury to a GK doesn’t really bother me too much, but in this case there’s definitely a concern. Ospina is a class custodian and Nice will really miss him. The other problem is that PSG are always going to work a GK a lot at the Parc de Princes. Now, it may well be that Veronese is up to the task and has a blinder, but realistically Nice are downgraded. Having said that, I have a feeling they can keep it close here. PSG aren’t in the best of rhythms right now and are heading into this match on the back of a very disappointing display in the CL against Anderlecht. It’s true PSG have claimed convincing wins against Lorient and Bastia recently, but this’ll be a much tougher match. Nice have a talented bunch of players and a coach who will put together a great tactical gameplan. Whether or not Nice can avoid defeat I’m not sure, but I don’t think they’ll get blown out. An asian line of +2 looks way too high on them here and they are capable of covering it. I didn’t really want to bet this game with Ospina out, but its just too tempting when bookies are this generous. Prediction: PSG 2-1 Nice Recommended bet: Nice +2 (asian) @ 1.84 4/

bahama
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th I actually think your wrong here. I think PSG will show that the midweek game was a failure. I think they will go in here hard to show that it was a slip up. I also expect to see Zlatan first half and Cavani in second. The last game before international breik. The goalie change in Nice gives PSG a great oportunity to go full in here. I go for o1,5 goals HT. @ 2.37 WillHill
meatman
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th Guingamp – Lille The hosts don’t have many squad problems and generally have everyone fit. Just GK Samassa (long term) and right back Sankoh are ruled out through injury. Midfielder Mustapha Diallo is suspended, but he probably wouldn’t have started anyway and isn’t a massive loss. Lille have issues in the middle of the park where key man Florent Balmont is injured and Idrissa Gueye suspended. Bear in mind that Marvin Martin is still absent too. Lille are pretty much at full strength everywhere else on the field though, its just in the middle where they are affected. Guingamp have been a real surprise this season ands the newly promoted outfit have been much more competitive than anyone imagined. Their home record has been especially impressive where they have a 4-1-1 record. Their only loss was to OM on the opening day of the season where they were 0-3 down in next to no time and just finding their feet in Ligue 1. They did however lose 0-2 away at Lyon last weekend though so maybe their bubble might burst? Everyone is waiting for Guingamp to fade away because realistically they can’t keep up their good form can they? In all fairness they actually played a very good 2nd half at Lyon and were unlucky not to get back into the game. I am very very tempted to back Guingamp +0.25 here. As I mentioned, they have played some great stuff at home this season and can’t be underestimated here. I also think Lille will struggle in midfield today with two of their key engines both absent. The loss of Balmont will be especially felt hard. But Lille, what can I say?! The force is seriously strong with them at the moment and they have strung together a great sequence of results. It’s been ages since they last conceded a goal and they’ve finally won some respect off me following their victory against Monaco last week. I still believe Lille to be overrated a bit and I should really be taking them on. But there’s no way I’m going to let them fuck me up again, they’ve cost me enough units in recent weeks. They have annoyed me a lot and I’d love to see them lose here, but the only sensible thing for me to do is to avoid betting on their games for the time being. It’ll otherwise get too emotional and personal, which is a foolish street to start walking down. Prediction: Guingamp 1-1 Lille Recommended bet: None Bastia – Rennes Bastia welcome back key midfielder Yannick Cahuzac from injury and he’ll be a candidate to start here. They only have one absentee which is defender Fethi Harek who wouldn’t necessarily be an automatic starter anyway. Rennes name a very similar squad compared to last week and have no new injuries to worry about. Their most notable injury is to midfielder Vincent Pajot, but it’s not like he’s a mega key man or anything. Bastia are very easy to work out this season. They are great at home, but poor away. Their home record is excellent and they’ve won 4 out of 5 here at Le Stade Furiani. Only Marseille have managed to avoid defeat here, it’s a really tough place to come and visit. For sure, the word fortress can be associated with the Furiani now and you’d have to be a brave man to bet against Bastia in front of their own fans. Rennes come here on the back of a mixed set of results. You never really know which version of them will turn up, such is their unpredictable nature. Maybe Rennes will actually enjoy being underdogs here. They seem to prefer it when few people give them much of a chance. A lot of people will be expecting Basti to win this match and sometimes it suits a side to be unfancied. Rennes have only actually lost 2 games in which their opponents have been favoured this season (vs Guingamp & Nice). But despite this, Bastia are an automatic bet for me today @ this price. It’s a nice generous -0.25 line, which I like because it gives some draw cover. I can’t really see Bastia losing this game and will surely draw it at worst. If they maintain their excellent home form then they should have a great chance of winning. Prediction: Bastia 2-1 Rennes Recommended bet: Bastia -0.25 @ 2.0 5/10 Lorient – Reims The hosts, as always have their fair share of injury problems. GK Fabien Audard is injured again, which is hardly a surprise considering his past record of getting crocked. No2 keeper Reynet is also doubtful so Chaigneau might even end up starting here. Another injury which wont surprise anyone is to striker Jeremie Aliadiere, who can never seem to stay fit for long periods of time. Reims have a scattering of injuries to less important players but have no new problems to deal with or suspensions. Lorient currently sit in 17th position just above the relegation zone. This is not the sort of place they are accustomed to being and there’s certainly some pressure on coach Christian Gourcuff. They’ve lost more games than any other team (except Valenciennes) but all of their problems have been away from home. Lorient have actually only played 5 home fixtures all season, and managed to win 3 of them. Only Marseille defeated them at Le Stade Moustoir, and that was an unfortunate loss. They are much more comfortable playing on their own artificial surface, whereas on the road they have an atrocious 0-0-7 record. On the face of raw statistics, Reims should have a decent chance of at least avoiding defeat today. The champagne outfit haven’t lost on the road since the opening day of the season and have only tasted defeat twice all season in Ligue 1. I do however think that their away record is a bit false and tainted. I could list many lucky reasons why they’ve picked up points in all of their away matches but sooner or later that luck will run out. In my opinion Reims aren’t as good as some people might think. I will always respect them at home but they are definitely due a road loss. It may well come today, perhaps they’ll struggle to adapt to Lorient’s artificial surface. There isn’t massive value here but I have strong feeling that Lorient will win tonight. They really need the 3 points desperately and it should give them the edge here. I’m going to have a small bet on them to prevail. Prediction: Lorient 2-1 Reims Recommended bet: Lorient -0.5 @ 2.15 3/10 Toulouse – Ajaccio There is only one new injury for Toulouse, but it’s a significant with key defender Aymen Abdennour ruled out. This is obviously a big blow, but it a match facing someone like Ajaccio it shouldn’t matter as much. Ajaccio have a number of injuries once again. Cavalli and Diarra are the most notable absentees, Adrian Mutu isn’t included in the squad either. ACA will be managed by interim coach Christian Bracconi here, they’ve yet to appoint a new permanent manager. Ajaccio have finally done something right and sacked Fabrizio Ravanelli. He was far too eccentric for the club and quite frankly a tactical shambles. However, I’m not sure if their problems are suddenly going to be solved. The appearance of an interim manager here doesn’t exactly fill me with much confidence. They need a permanent coach who has proper discipline, because this squad needs some real man handling. Things are still a bit crazy at Ajaccio because Ravanelli has left them in a real mess. I think Toulouse should win here but it’s probably not a good idea to bet on this match. There is so much uncertainty surrounding Ajaccio. Maybe they will suddenly play awesomely without Ravanelli in charge? Besides, I don’t really like Toulouse in a ‘strong favourite’ situation. TFC are at their best as underdogs when expectations are lower. They are still mentally recovering from their awful 0-5 loss at home to Rennes a couple of weeks ago as well. The asian line is TFC -1 which I don’t fancy them to cover because they often win games by just 1 goal. Overall, this seems like a good match to stay away from because its a potentially hazardous fixture Prediction: Toulouse 1-0 Ajaccio Recommended bet: None Valenciennes – Montpellier There are no new issues for VA here. Their only notable injury is to defender Lindsay Rose, the squad is in pretty good condition. Montpellier have no fresh concerns either, but still have the defensive duo of Hilton and Tiene ruled out. Joris Marveaux remains injured from the midfield too. The visitors are in the middle of a slump period right now and not much seems to be going their way. Jean Fernandez’s men have generally struggled to obtain victories this season and thats why they are currently situated as low as 16th in the table! Valenciennes meanwhile, are currently inside the relegation zone but are fresh off a victory last weekend at Ajaccio (3-1). This was the first win for new coach Ariel Jacobs and VA have been playing fairly well recently. They were unlucky to lose at home to Evian a couple of weeks ago, and even before the sacking of Daniel Sanchez they weren’t too bad. Jacobs will want to back up last week’s win with another 3 points and I give them the edge in this fixture. I like taking them -0.25 as it gives some draw cover, something which is vital when a team like Montpellier are involved. This seems like a pretty good spot for VA though and they definitely have a good chance of making it back to back wins. Prediction: Valenciennes 2-1 Montpelier Recommended bet: Valenciennes -0.25 @ 2.15 4/

UnitedForever
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th Thanks mate !!! Well, Lorient will probably play with their 3rd GK and last game between these two at Lorient (22 Dec 2012) finished 2-2. Lorient need to start getting some points and as their away form is just awful they must win as many games as possible at home. If Reims can score 3 goals away against Marseille I think they will find the net at least one this evening. meatman
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > November 8th - 10th Bordeaux – Nantes The hosts do have injuries, but nobody important is affected. For example, David Bellion is an absentee, which is arguably a good thing! Les Girondins welcome back key striker Cheikh Diabate from injury which is a massive boost, he can lead the line so well upfront. Of course, it must be remembered that Bordeaux did play on Thursday night away against APOEL Nicosia. About 5 or 6 of the guys who started that game are likely to play here. Only 3 guys were rested out completely, so most of the squad will be affected from travelling etc. Nantes have no such issues and have had a full week to prepare for this fixture. Only Johan AUdel is injured, but he’s yet to play a single minute for them this season. Fellow striker, Aristegueta is rested out because he played for the reserves yesterday This is an Atlantic derby match so its sure to be spicy and full of commitment from both sides. Each team approaches this contest in fairly good form too. Nantes have won 4 of their last 6 and Bordeaux 3 of their last 4. I must say I was very impressed with how solid Bordeaux were last Sunday away against Nice, but whether or not they can really afford to line up so defensive in this contest remains to be seen. At home there is more of an onious on them to attack and take the initiative, which doesn’t always suit them that much. It wont be easy for them to win today because Nantes have proven to be very competitive and efficient since their promotion. They are extremely well coached by Mickael De Zakarian who I’m sure will have a great tactical gameplan arranged for this contest. I think the odds are set pretty fair for this game. Perhaps bookies overestimate Bordeaux a little bit, but not sufficiently enough to warrant a bet on Nantes. I do favour the visitors to get something though and I think they’ll avoid defeat. Bordeaux are notoriously poor after playing in Europe, although do have the lunchtime KO in their favour. Remarkably, this’ll be the 5th time this season that they feature at 14:00 on a Sunday, so everyone will be really used to the unusual factors which surround this type of fixture. But because it’s a derby encounter, perhaps the problems which usually affect away sides negatively won’t be such a factor for Nantes. There have already been a lot of draws this round, but I see another one here. I’m going to have a small bet on the cards market. Nantes are a team with remarkable discipline and have only picked up 12 yellows and 2 reds all season. Impressively they haven’t even picked up a single card in 3 fixtures. Bordeaux meanwhile, have 23 yellows and 2 reds this season. There’s no way they should be 2.80 to obtain most booking points here. Prediction: Bordeaux 1-1 Nantes Recommended bet: Card index match bet – Bordeaux @ 2.80 Paddy Power 2/
