Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 Concord Rangers away at Kingstonian (11/8 Marathon, BetVics) Monday night game. Kingstonian have been sometimes excellent this season, but mostly have had a transitional feel as Alan Dowson has struggled to get the blend right in key departments, though they have some excellent individuals. Since the 9-3 win over Cray at home, they've managed just a couple of scrappy wins and seven defeats in nine at Kingsmeadow. With solid wins at Leiston and Met Police in the last two Concord are in decent nick, and are still in the hunt for third spot (they are in the hunt for second mathematically, but - like Kingstonian's fifth place hopes - that's too much of a leap). Despite the amount of football they have been playing, I think the visitors are value. Colwyn Bay away at Bradford Park Avenue (15/8 Marathon) Another Monday game. It's expecting a lot for Bay to notch a fifth successive win, but they deserve massive credit for their run - just one defeat in nine away. Encouragement comes from the depleted nature of BPA's squad - they couldn't fill the bench on Saturday and lost James Knowles in the first half in losing to Bishop's Stortford. Given the circumstances, there is a touch of value in the price. Chippenham Town away at AFC Totton (21/10 Marathon) Nothing at stake in this one, but perhaps Chippenham have the momentum, and my own price is much less than this. They've dug themselves out of a relegation hole with three successive away wins, while Totton's season is tailing off - in part due to some on-going off-the-field issues. They've lost the last three (two of which were at home) conceding 12. I can't make a huge case for Chippenham but they strike me as value.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 First winner of the week for Ships as Colwyn hold on to win. Shame I missed the price by some way though. Make that two for Ships as Concord also won. He really is ending the season in strong form.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 Decent start to the session. Concord had Kingstonian's number for most of the match and were rarely in trouble; it was a stonger BPA starting XI tonight than I expected so that was a great win for Colwyn Bay that I guess involved a great deal of late hanging on - massive achievement though: five straight wins between a week last Saturday and tonight.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 missed out on ships tips as well but well done,a very good monday night! i read somewhere that the gainsborough cash man/chairman is stepping down at the end of the season and that the budget next season will be twenty per cent of this season(quite a reduction) i would imagine that will mean none of this seasons players or very few will be there next season so with this in mind do you think theres any value in oxford city tonight at decent odds?

Although it's a no bet for me, BG, I can see the case for backing Oxford City, especially as the price is on the drift to 2/1. Gainsborough's form is pretty indifferent - four wins in 12 - and they are not functioning with the fluency or drive of early season, though they are a better side on paper. The off-the-field stuff has done for their play-off chances - what looked initially like brinkmanship for the chairman has hardened into an 80% budget cut for next season with his departure, and despite three wins in the last four I'm not sure I'd trust them. Oxford City have a new president, too - a figure from the shadier end of Wall Street, which should prove very entertaining next season though won't have much influence tonight. They are a decent, hard-working side but lack a creative edge, and Trinity are organised enough even at 70% on the throttle to keep them out. While I wouldn't make Oxford C 2/1 and I can't put you off backing them at that price, there are too many variables for me to play with any confidence.

Nice tips, had colwyn and concord with Man Utd to nil. The non-league section has been flying recently

Am i right in thinking the Blue Square North Play Off Final is played at the home ground of the highest finisher' date=' so Guiseley in second are guaranteed a home final if they should make it.[/quote'] Yes, two leg semis then highest-placed winner hosts the final in a one-off.

Ebgland lower England » Blue Square North » Oxford City - Gainsborough +0,25 Oxford just shortly. Both not need points, both in the middle but Gainsborough trinity has injurie problems, 5 new players injured: And, despite missing a number of his established first team stars, Housham says he will send out a side he believes can win the game. The Trinity injury list continues to grow, with Michael Leary, Jonathan D'Laryea, Danny Hone, Bradley Barraclough and Shane Clarke definitely out of action tonight. ont he other side no problems for hosts and they wil lhave best available players: Oxford City (v Gainsborough Trinity, home): Martin, Benjamin, Stonehouse, Malone, Learoyd, Willmott, McNish, Pond, Basham, Cook, McEachran, Bell, Barcelos, Stanley, Gunn, Joyce, Townsend.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25

Mates given the Castrof info about missing players in Trinity can someone give us info how much important are they for the away side. Thank you.
Barraclough is a big loss but they have a deep enough squad to cope; I don't think any of the missing played in the comfortable victory over Vauxhall Motors. Most worrying is the potential loss of Darryn Stamp, who has a knock and is a doubt. That would leave them a bit light up front. But I think it's fair to say the spine of the team is still reasonably strong.

I don't know the actual figures, but the implication is that they'll go from being one of the top five budgets to something akin to Hinckley. Whether it pans out like that we'll see during the summer.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 I´m surprised to see that Halifax are shortening for their trip to Altrincham tonight, both sides are safely in the play off and there is nothing to play for except final placings. Motivation:- there are two reasons why the teams should want to win this, firstly if they meet in the final the team finishing fourth will play at home, and for Altrincham if they finish fourth they avoid Guiseley who have loaned them key player Danny Boshell, Boshell won´t be able to play if Altrincham meet Guiseley, I strongly suspect they would rather avoid them and hope that Halifax knock them out in the semi final, Altrincham´s best form has coincided with the arrival of Boshell. On the other hand it´s quite possible that Halifax would prefer to play Guiseley, firstly travel wise it´s a short hop, but more importantly I suspect Halifax will fancy there chances, Guiseley will go toe to toe with Halifax in a way that Brackley won´t and the open game will suit Halifax. A further reason to suspect Halifax won´t be too bothered about tonights game, is the fact that they´ve been playing three games a week for a number of weeks now, last Saturday was the 9th game in 19 days, manager Aspin didn´t feel Halifax could play for 90 minutes so set them out to defend the first half, and let them off the leash at half time. Now with the play offs in the bag he looks set to rest a number of players, (they play Chester at home thursday) as fresh legs for the play offs will be the priority. Halifax will field a reasonable side tonight but with several key players missing, I´d expect Gardner, Seddon and skipper Lowe to miss for certain and there will be others, in addition whilst the team will be reasonable I don´t think you will see a bodies on the line type of performance and if as I suspect Altrincham are motivated to win this in an attempt to take fourth spot, the 2.45 with Bet Victor looks cracking value.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 I don´t think Halifax will be worried about a home or away final, for two seasons their away form has been superior to their home form and a game where the opponents are less inclined to sit back ie away from home suits them better, getting to the final will be the priority and resting players will be seen as key to that. To emphasise the point, next Tuesday´s first leg will be Halifax´ fourth game in eight days with the first one being tonight, thats on top of the gruelling schedule they´ve just completed. I´m convinced tonight won´t be a full blooded affair for Halifax, they´ll send a reasonable side filled up with the bench players and people who´ve not had much game time, and they´ll be competitive, but it won´t be a whole hearted effort.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 Just the one bet for me tonight and it is Billericay to beat Farnborough at 5/1 (BetVictor and Boylesports) Granted Billericay are in awful form and they are now relegated back to the Ryman Premier after just one season. They have also only won 3 times away from home this season. However Farnborough still don't have a goalkeeper and it has been clear from their last two games that this has been a big disavantage for them. They lost to Sutton and then drew 3-3 at bottom side Truro on Saturday. Obviously they aren't a side you can go lumping on, but now they are down they might just relax and play with no fear tonight and if they test the keeper then he will make mistakes.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 An interesting play on tonight's Farnborough/Billericay game, with BetInternet is the visitors to score over 2.5 at a chunky 17/2. This is something that they have only done twice all season away (at Truro and Basingstoke, if you're interested), but with Nic Ciardini between the sticks again and Farnborough probably going on the attack as they have done recently, it's a sporting play at a chunky price and it means the 3-3 is on side.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 One more bet for tonight as Boreham Wood should not be even money to beat Bromley. Bromley are very lucky they got enough points earlier in the season as it has been a while since they picked up one. Wood have been very hard to beat at home all season and I have no idea why BetVictor are so big. It looks a pretty solid bet to me.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 Seems like neither team can be arsed from this Halifax Tweet It's been very uneventful so far. The game is almost being played at walking pace. Both sides looking lethargic at the moment.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25

Concord Rangers away at Kingstonian (11/8 Marathon, BetVics) Colwyn Bay away at Bradford Park Avenue (15/8 Marathon) Chippenham Town away at AFC Totton (21/10 Marathon)
I really went for it this time and put money on the doubles and triple as well so I got myself a massive payday. Cheers for that mate. Lots of (positive) variance involved for sure but your ROI must be through the roof!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 22-25 Decent night to cap a decent session - Chippenham won and Billericay managed to cross the 2.5 threshold at a huge price: I'll take four out of four any session, but especially so when they come home at 11/8, 15/8, 21/10 and 17/2. Great calls by Castro on Oxford +.25, YorkshireFF on Alty, and addpea on over 4.5 on Farnborough/Billericay.

Glad you made some, GasP. It has been a very decent month: I've posted 16 Step 3 plays on here and 13 have come home. I'd be happy if they'd all been 1.57 shots but given the territory I like to operate in - Evs and up (where I find the most attractive percentage variations with my own prices) - the returns have been very good. It's a pleasing way to round off another profitable season: nine in a row now. And what turned me from being a fun acca-man and cowboy spread-bettor was discovering Punter's Lounge, where there is a constant source of information, discussion points and gambling advice.
