A.W.E.S.O.M.-O 1973 Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Re: comeon poker league I started today with a bad relationship to poker, and have totally started in fine fashion again, playing two and exiting with K/6 to K/2, and A/8 to A/6.. both all-in pre-flop when getting low and getting one call each - one of those would have meant cashing for sure. Pushed with 6s7s4h8s on a 7c2h5s rainbow flop, figuring if he had a big PP that he raised with its a tricky call.....and if he calls I have a lot of outs. Call he did with Qc5cAh5h....trip 5's. The turn brought a 3h for my straight....but got boned on the river when the Jh came in for the flush and the 27k pot! And Baggy is top of the individual by 4pts over this week's winner, who had zero points before this. If Baggy were a one-man team, he'd be third in the team standings with 64pts. Pretty good, man. EDIT: No, he'd be 2nd and playing against Weksle in blanco for an instant $1,250 package (if it ended now)! He'd so win that.. :p I think it's going to need some strange allocation of the points left to stop us getting top 10 and being in the knockout competition, although it looks possible mathematically.
