They drew 3-3 with Leverkusen but Leverkusen were far better, had a legal goal called offside while they didn't receive a clear penalty as well. M'gladbach then drew with Lazio also 3-3 and showed a poor defensive work. Now they play away in Rome against Lazio 3 days before this clash. M'gladbach only have a small squad and they are not good enough to play so many matches in a row. Herrmann (6 goals / 3 assists) misses the clash against Dortmund through suspension. He is the most important offensive player along with Arango for the hosts. His absence will be a huge blow as striker De Jong doesn't move a lot and waits mostly for crosses or passes. Dortmund are in a very good form. Their defeat to Hamburg shouldn't be taken too much into consideration as it was simply a slip-up. Dortmund then travelled to Donetzk and were the better side and deserving the 2-2. Then they finished off Frankfurt after Reus scored a hat-trick. He and Götze are in top form. Lewandoswki and his replacement Schieber are both suspended but Reus will step in as the striker. Dortmund are definitely the better side and have no match in midweek while Gladbach do have a match and will be tired. GL Edit: Gladbach were really poor against Lazio. First shot was made in 66th minute. Arango had to be taken off with an injury. If he is out, then Gladbach will get some real trouble as he is the only creative player in the squad.

Mainz has 32 points while Amburgo ( 6th team ) has 34 points. End the year in 6th position means to go to Europa League the next year. Hannover played just less than 48 hoursa go a very phisical and running match in EL, and alreay on the pitch again. Sometimes this can also be a plus if the team was grabbing qualification, but I have seen playing Hamburg last week and Van der vaart and company have make me a good impression.

hannover played hard match on thursday. i think they will be tired but hamburg don't score many goals either so hamburg win and only slight chance of odd draw

On the other hand, this match for the leaders (15 points advantage) came to the line between games against Arsenal and Dortumnd, so I think Werder is more motivated team today. After all, Bremen's only lost twice by more than one goal margin in the last 14 away games in Munich. A nice odds for AH line. Werder +2 (AH) @1.83 Pinnacle low stake

Pekovic is back from suspension and could feature here. A good, bounce-back win for Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. They beat Augsburg with 2-1 and brought back some needed confidence. It wasn’t a brilliant performance but they got the job done and really needed such a grind-out victory. It came after few good displays against Dortmund, Gladbach and Benfica but failing to get a win in each of those encounters. They understandably looked a bit pale and without energy but it was enough in the end. The busy schedule continued for them as they visited Benfica on Thursday in the return leg and. Similar like the 1^st leg, they were the better team but they just couldn’t finish. Woodworks, 1 on 1s, disallowed goal, many opportunities for them. It wasn’t to be however as a much more efficient Benfica won again, this time 2-1. They go directly from Portugal to Furth as they won’t come back home in-between. Coach Lewandowski played with his best 11 in Lisbon and maybe there will be couple of rotations but still a strong squad is expected. Bayer is the overwhelming favorite in this one. If it wasn’t for the Benfica match, they would have been an even better bet. This makes the match no-bet for the time being, at least until the confirmed line-ups and the early minutes.
