Re: Championship > Boxing Day Cant quite believe the price on Hull now out to 2.75 Victor Chandler :loon against Leicester. This seems far to high. Leicesters away record is poor for a top six side won 3 drawn 2 lost 6. and hull are 7 points ahead of them after winning there last 4 games. Hull do have a couple of issues which may have caused the drift in price. Meyler has returned to sunderland but most Hull fans say it is no great loss especially since Aluko will most likely return boxing day from injury and he is a great player. Apparently he was fit enough to be on the bench at least for the Derby game but was not selected because the Nigerian squad for the African nations was announced the next day and Hull didnt want him to be included. Stockdale on loan keeper has returned to Fulham but the replacement is nearly of equal standard and they still won at Derby without him. Alex Bruce is banned but at centre half but Faye is possibly a better player anyway. So i am on hull here at 2.75 very good value.

Re: Championship > Boxing Day 4pts Leeds to beat Notts Forest (DNB) 11/8 Bet365 Leeds are in decent nick at the minute and they could be a bit of value in this match against a stuttering Notts Forest team. I think man for man there isn’t a lot between these two sides so confidence and momentum could be the difference between the two sides and that is definitely with Leeds at the minute. Neil Warnock knows the importance of this period and I see his side edging this but with the close nature of the game I’ll play safe and back them without the draw. Re: Championship > Boxing Day Barnsley-Birmingham under 2.5 @1.85 4/10 12bet Barnsley have managed to get all three points as they won away from home at Millwall thanks to a late goal. At home, they are very underish as they have had only 2 overs in 11 matches. Furthermore top striker Davies (8 goals) is likely to continue to miss here. Influential midfielder Mellis (3 goals / 8 assists) is battling to overcome an injury. Buszaky, Noble-Lazarus and Sinclair are likely to be out. Birmingham were foced to start with 7 teenagers against Burnley as a bug weakened the injury plagued squad. Only defender Robinson is likley to get back. Top scorer King (12 goals / 6 assists) is out. Striker Lövenkrands (2 goals / 1 assist) is also out as well as Spector, Ambrose, Murphy, Carr, Asante, Caddis and Diop. As both teams are likely to be without their top scorer, plus a very underish home side and all these injured players for Birmingham, this one has under 2.5 written all over it. GL

Re: Championship > Boxing Day Bolton v SheffWednesday @ 1.83 VCbet (6 Points) I have opposed Wednesday in their last couple of matches and come a cropper with them picking up 2 wins from their last 2. But I remain massively unconvinced by them and if the price is right I'm happy to keep opposing them despite their upturn in form. Bolton are massively under achieving in my opinion and with the players they have they really should be doing much better. Kevin Davies is out today and Ngog could also be missing so Freedman may have to shake it up a bit with the forwards. It could work out to be a blessing in disguise. Bolton are the far superior side in my opinion and 5/6 is a great price on them to a secure a home win against one of the worst sides in the league. Yes Wednesday have picked up a couple of wins in their last couple of games but I don't expect them to keep on winning after being in such poor before hand. It could be back to earth with a bump for them today and I'm strongly backing Bolton to pick up the 3 points.

Re: Championship > Boxing Day middlesbrough v bolton pick middlesbrough -0.5 1.96 middlesbrough have been up and down with results lately but still have been strong at home where they've only lost once since october v bristol, and when they have lost they've been a bit unlucky. now they play a team in bad form since new manager coming in and in dissaray behind the scenes with walkouts , and new backroom staff being brought in without much say soo from the manager. Blackburn badly lacking in confidence a very much doubt playing middlesbrough will be the place they start to get this back. With probaable return of key player haroun i see the middlesbrough have a much better chance the 50% which the bookies suggest.

I'm leaning towards Cardiff - palace as an over 2.5 bet. We have a great home record, despite LTO losing to Peterbro. Our captain Hudson missed that game through suspension but returned for a cracking 1-0 win at Leicester. Crucially, RB Connelly is suspended today which will see mcnaughton deputise. Whilst he's very popular with fans because of his commitment and stable performances for several years, he lacks pace and perhaps no longer has the quality needed for the level we are now striving for. Worryingly for me, is how he will cope with the pace of palace's wingers, including Zaha. Palace appear to have adapted well to holloway's appointment and he will look towards getting all 3 points here. There is talk of gabbidon (ex-city favourite) making his full debut to cover suspension and I'm not convinced he's the player we sold... I've taken the game on the BTTS coupon :hope

Re: Championship > Boxing Day NOTTS FOREST V LEEDS 12.15 KO 3.95 Betfair LEEDS, is out standing value. Forest are very hit n miss at home, I cant understand why Leeds would be so big here. Teams announced and looking at leeds they will have more attacking options. 75 points leeds to win. 3.95 taken GL all

Ok LEEDS 1-0 up after 12 mins, BACK OUT PLAN, kicks in, traded out for a profit of 75 points on the game regardless of result now..trade out at 1.98. No intrest in the game now, apart from balance updating after the game. GL all

Re: Championship > Boxing Day bristol v watford pick over 2.5 1.78 dont normally bet on the overs but this is to do good to miss imho. Both teams weaker in the defense department and strong on the attack departrment. bristol score and concede a lot of their goals at home and the same with watford away. With or without the probable return of key impact watford player forestieri the watford team has goals in them as well, as well as bristol. at least a 60% chance of 3 or more goals so the 1.78 odds offered are very good valeu.
