I have 3 blinds and have to come back at 12. If it wasn't for the stake, I'd be all in every hand at the end. Al saved my ass, as offered bed, for what I'm very grateful. I never really got going yesterday, despite flopping quad 10s very early on. Later on I had to make a massive fold on the river after putting a very large chunk of my stack in with AA. The hand haunted me and I asked the guy in the end. He confirmed he had hit his flush on the river (which I knew really in my head) so I made the right laydown but at a massive loss of chips. Never really recovered and was pretty card dead. Busted out about 8pm to Al, when I shoved my shortstack with AQ and ran into his JJ. It was lovely to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones too. Format meant I was always going to play aggressive early doors and try and build a stack - had QQ in big blind to a raiser and SB caller so I went over massively over the top. It was the next day and the TD said he had spoken to Grosvenor and been told the bubble could have a Goliath seat. teaulc Posted June 24, 2012 Author Share Posted June 24, 2012 Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour 2012 - next leg Brighton just dropped Hen off at the casino,couldnt stop to rail unfortunately. nothing mentioned at all about anything for the bubble so doubtful,we didnt even get any food at dinner,just some fruit and thought wtf. i finished 18th i had raised on the button with A9 spades only for BB who had just under my chips to shove. thought about it but put him on smaller Ace than me,not the case though,he had AK. left me 1400 chips. shoved with A3 and 2 others in the hand,flop came down 2 diamonds and BlueBlood player got the other player off the hand to leave me H/U with him. he was flushing and missed,i hit my Ace and trebled up. then it me vs BB. i pushed without looking and he had to call. he showed J/2 i then turned over J/2 hehe. lasted a bit longer then shoved with K/J hearts against BB who had A/Q, we both hit and i needed a 10 on the river which didnt materialise. good to meet Sonic at last, and to see Reb,Hen,Bart and Quaser,not forgetting Alun Bowden.
