Re: Poker Player Mag UK Tour 2012 These look like being absolutely cracking events and Grosvenor are really pulling out the stops. The structures are going to be mint, there are GUKPT seats added and there will be side events running from around 7/8pm on the Saturday. It's basically a GUKPT main event for £100. I can't wait.

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour is coming back for 2012 Yes, what is with the regging at G Casino? I try to become a real money player, fill in the whole registration, click the 'Register' button after double checking everything, and... NOTHING. Nothing happens. It goes to a different page, but I'm never registered, or receive anything to say I am. Better try on the desktop, I guess. Tried a lot of times on the old lappy. If it's no good, I guess I'm not in these games. Boohoo.

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour is coming back for 2012 Ah, typical jump-the-gun poster... I've seen this now... 'PLEASE NOTE: G Casino Poker is part of the Rank Interactive product suite, which also includes Blue Square Poker. If you currently hold a Blue Square Poker account, there is no need to re-register. Simply use your existing login details to access your account and enjoy the full range of G Casino Poker promotions and offers.' I have that! Trying it... YES, IT WORKS!!! /happyface

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour is coming back for 2012 Hi AWESOM-O :welcometo the forum, good to see you join us :ok Yes sorry I should have clarified my previous post. You should be able to log into either BlueSq or GCasino with your existing account details, I just had a few problems with mine and they advised at the time to just continue using my existing one (i.e. BS). I will however have another try and see if it will now work for me, no doubt been several software updates since my last attempt so should hopefully work.

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour is coming back for 2012 Thanks for the welcome. It is of course a nice series for the low-rollers and that... I played in it last year... I wonder about making it into two-day events though (also, the APAT). With costs of staying overnight, and travel etc, that's quite the chunk of cash as a percentage of the total outlay, compared to one's buy-in, for instance... Gonna have to be quite the player to overcome such odds. Still, if you cheap it in via a satellite, who cares, I guess! Also not a prob if you live locally, so it will still be well attended, no doubt.

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour is coming back for 2012

I see the 3 satellites that are listed in the mag are up' date=' but does anyone know if they are doing weekly qualifiers as they did last year on Gala? If you could answer this Alun that would be great.[/quote'] I don't know if they will be weekly, but as far as I'm aware Grosvenor Poker will be running their own qualifiers too. As will the relevant casino. PokerPlayer ones will be the ones with the most value though obv ;)

Those are all good points and it is something we considered. To be honest with some events finishing at 4am last year it was effectively a 2-day event anyway. This gives everyone a bit more time and a bit more play at the business end. We are looking so that only in the money players will return on day 2. So if money is a concern you could drive up and ask the casino to sort you out a travelodge or something for the night if you make it to day 2. And this way you get a chance to have a few beers at the end of the day too. But more importantly we wanted to make the events a bit more of an occasion. There should be plenty to keep you entertained even after you get knocked out with a dealer-dealt (£25 + £10 rebuy) event set to start around 7pm on the Saturday and cash games running. There will also be a self-dealt tourney on the Sunday. Grosvenor are really pulling out the stops for these and hopefully people will see this as a fun poker weekend rather than just a £100 tourney. There is a GUKPT seat added and the structure really is going to be great. Hope to see you there.

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour is coming back for 2012

Why no Scotland leg this time?
Grosvenor only have casinos in Dundee and Aberdeen and we both felt Newcastle was a better option for the North/Scotland. With only 5 legs we can't please everyone, but hope there is a decent spread of venues.

" Hi Lew200100 & :welcometo Punters Lounge. To start a new thread, click on one of the forum boards e.g. "live poker", "poker chat", "poker tournaments" etc and then at the top (left) of the screen is a "+Post New Thread" blue button. Click this button, give your new thread a title and then write your post. Recommend you have a quick read of the Punters Lounge House Rules link first, just remember to not post passwords, spam etc. Any problems, shout and we'll help guide you further, we're all friendly & helpful here. Good to see you becoming active within the community and hope you'll join in some of our exclusive events too in due course. :ok Best regards, Bart
