First the stats Velez are 6-3-1 so far this season and are 4-0-1 at home. Quilmes are 1-3-6 and 0-2-3 away. Velez are a much better team and silva up front is a constant threat. Velez have a big game in the copa lib in 4 days but i dont think they will let this distract them from claiming there 5th consecutive home win. Velez do well against Quilmes beating them in all of their 4 most recent meetings. Velez seem very motivated this year and hopefully will continue fighting for wins.. They got back to Argentina late on Friday and face a decent outfit here tonight in Banfield. The visitors have netted 9 in the last 10 away matches and 14 of their last 16 games (both H&A). Velez have scored in every game this season and have only let in 5 goals from six home games. Believe it or not I do fancy Banfield to nick one tonight, and Velez to get the three points so these both hinge on the away side scoring which will be tough against a solid backline. Overs could be risky here despite the history and form of both teams. Both coaches lineup with far less adventurous teams as a result of the missing players going 4-5-1.
