I will take the under instead. I think they will play more defensive than usually and Lanus will not have an easy task scoring against them. On the other hand, Huracan have been struggling big times in front of goal while Lanus have had a great defence, so wouldn't see them scoring. Under 1.5 is the call. I saw good value in the handicap and thankfully it paid off. Boca did well to draw it after being two down. Velez stands first in the league with 30 points meanwhile Godoy Cruz stand 3rd with 28 points, a win would see them top the League if Lanus doesn't beat Independiente in another decisive match. Velez are coming from a very tough defeat in the Copa Libertadores, which will have surely taken its toll on them both physically and mentally. Their last match in the League was also disappointing, losing 2-1 to Tigre. Its been a very long season for them and you can tell they are starting to tire. Velez is definitely the better team here, but all things considered, a positive result for Godoy Cruz looks very likely. I just don't see Velez being able to recuperate from that defeat in the Libertadores so quickly. I'll keep it safe though. Lanus are one point off of Velez who top the league and a win tonight will go a long way seeing as Velez take on Godoy who themselves are competing for the title sat in third. Independiente are not going to roll over though having won their last three netting seven goals and have only lost once at home. Granted their season is all but over but they will have a chance to impress tonight when there is no pressure put on them to get a result. They put Godoy to the sword with a 3-0 win and earnt themselves a point against Velez in a 2-2 draw. They have scored in all but one of their home games (v River Plate, defensive minded side) and I fancy them to net at least once tonight which means Lanus will need to score two if they are after them vital 3 points. Not at all a sure victim Godoy, despite their bad record on this field, with 8 goals conceded and none scored. Maybe one goals, 3 points or one, you never know ... Of their last 7 home games in the league, Argentinos have won only 2 and have lost the last 2. On the other hand, of their last 6 away games, Estudiantes have lost only one.
