YES (1.65) 2 UNITS The odds are not that great but I will take them anyway, these teams attack well yet their defense struggles specially America. Both lost last week and America will denitely try to win this game due to their poor results. America can score and I expect Morelia does too facing that weak defense. There was only ONE game that ended in under 2.5 in their last 18 matches. And 7 of their last 10 matches ended in over 3.5 , so that is not a bad choice neither since the odds are great. Estudiantes are much better on road but tonight they might have a good game at home since their opponents are not at all good on road. And the goals average are high so everything points to another 3+ game at least. I'm going for over 3.5 because of the tradition and because it is almost 100% certain that both teams will score but I do not see this one ending as a draw. WeakestLink
Re: MEXICO Primera Division 2011 Thread Queretaro -1AH , 4.65 bet365 , 10units Despite the odds I favour Queretaro much more than I do Santos Laguna in this match. Queretaro won three and drew one against Santos Laguna at home in their head to head. They won 2:0 in 2004 , 2:1 in 2006 , 5:2 last season , and they drew 1:1 two seasons ago but even in that match Queretaro lead 1:0 up until injury time despite playing with 10 men in the final 10 minutes. Also in the last few rounds this season Queretaro looks like a better team. In their last two games at home they won 4:0 against league leaders , and won 2:1 against Monterrey. And after watching the Monterrey match last night I can only imagine how Queretaro play , because they were better against Monterrey and Monterrey plays great football on road. Santos Laguna won their last two games on road but against two of the not very best teams. They are not playing well against stronger teams and that is the case tonight. WeakestLink
Re: MEXICO Primera Division 2011 Thread over 3.5 , 3.50 bet365 , 10units Atlas is the rock bottom team in Mexico. But , if they play anything like they this last week on road at Jaguares , they will score at least two goals in this game. They attacked almost constantly and the only reason they did not score more goals is because Jaguares has a good defense by Mexican standard. Atlas does not have great defense and that is the main reason why I'm not going for their win. I did not have the chance to watch Tijuana so that is another reason why I'm not betting on home win. But based on the stats from Tijuana's games they do attack until they score a goal and they than back up. I expect Atlas to score at least two goals and concede at least one , so I'm hoping either team can score one goal extra. You can get over 3 at arround 2.50 with pinnacle , but I'm not a fan of money back bets.
JimmyBeamish
Re: MEXICO Primera Division 2011 Thread YTD (1-1) +0.3 Ok, lines are up in a couple of bookies, and I was waiting for odds for the Monterrey -America match and liked what I saw. Take again Monterrey @ 1.75 vs America - Odds are already quoted at BWIN, titanbet - for 2 UNITS Monterrey let me down vs Cruz Azul a few weeks ago but if you watched the game you noticed Cruz Azul had barely 2,3 chances and scored two goals. Also the best player in Monterrey and arguably in the whole league, Cesar Delgado, got injured at the 15th minute just after tying the game. Now everything points Delgado will be back vs America and Monterrey will definitely try to win this match at home as they couldn't do it las two weeks home against Cruz Azul(unlucky 1-2) and Toluca (a 0-0 tie). America is definitely an inferior team (just saw them again today) than these two and let's only hope they don't play cat and mouse only defending or score a lucky goal. Chalk again but there's pretty decent value IMO. Good Luck

Santos is leader with 23 points, followed by Cruz Azul and Guadalajara, who visits Querétaro and América, Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Santos Laguna is the best away team and Estudaiantes Tecos is the worst home team. Santos Laguna has four wins, one draw and two defeats away, while the hosts have one win, five defeats and no draws as hosts. With the win, Santos, coached by the Mexican BenjamÃÂn Galindo, would reach 26 points, which would mean a significant step toward his target to qualify for Liguilla, played by the best eight classified teams. Estudiantes, 15th, a win would make them climb to fight for the Liguilla too.

The main problem of this team, not a new problem, but and old problem, is that they have problems in score, and not correcting this they will have problems in be a real contender to the title. Jaguares, who has 20m points, received in eight games San Luis, with three wins, four draws and a single defeat. San Luis lost a big chance last week with a draw at home against Cruz Azul, in a game where despite never being big dominator, they had chances to be it. If Ignacio Ambriz want to be back to a final phase, must to get at least a draw in this game, as in other way the future will be even more complicate. Jaguares got his points thanks to six wins, five draws and three defeats, have 24 goals scored and 20 conceded. Among Santos Laguna, are the best defence. His defence use to give important spaces and is somewhat indisciplined, specially the Chilean central defender Ismael Fuentes who use to receive a yellow card in each game he plays. goodens
Re: MEXICO Primera Division 2011 Thread Sport Football (Mexico) Event Club America - Puebla Selection Over 3.5 goals Strength 10/10 Date 30/10/2011 Bookmaker/Price Betsson @ 3.10 Reasoning Puebla has played some very entertaining games this season, including their last away game, 4-3 loss at Toluca. This year, they also visited Club America and it ended in a cracking game, which they lost 5-4. The return leg also ended in a lot of goals, a 2-2 draw in Puebla. Club America is having a dissapointing Apertura by their standards, only 17th in the standings. They've kept their usual goalscoring rate, but their defense has been leaking goals as they've conceded goals in every home game played so far, and this game looks to continue the trend. If this game will have 3 goals in it, it's more likely that it will cover the over 3.5 bet as well, so it's worth to take these better odds. Morelia are not from the best home sides, finishing the regualr season as the 13th best home side ( 18 teams ). Anyway they finished the season with 5-1-0 at home, scoring 2 or more goals in 5 of these matches. Also Morelia finished the season with 4 straight overs ( all of them with both teams scoring ). They made 2:1 result in 3 of their last 5 home games. Tijuana are quite motivated team, with huge investments and ambitious. But couldnt managed to fight for top spots. I expect them to start this season more organized and focused. Tijuana finished the season 8 straight matches, having goal/goal option, making 4 times 1:1 exact score and losing once with 2:1 in these games. I expect close game and I see both sides scoring at least once here.
