This season Toluca hasn't been as regular as past seasons where have been on the first positions of the league. Even their home hasn't been the stronghold of other times, in their favor can be stated that they encounter some of the top teams here like Pumas, Morelia, Chivas, Monterrey, with no victory for Toluca on those matches, but on the other matches home the team fare better. Carries a streak of 5 matches without victory, in which the team has 4 draws and 1 defeat, 1-3 against America in their last match. Coach Jose Luis Sanchez is forced to have on the lineup DF Leaño, as he is the son of the owner of the club and last match the cause the team lost the match, something that could be repeated here. The team absences are important starting by GK Christian Martinez , as with GK Juan Carlos Garcia Rulfo the team has been unable to win a match. They will play to win, despite a draw on the round would give them the passport to the next stage too. The team is very motivated despite the two teams being very similar, playing a offensive football. I think this can be a game with lots of goals too. Monarca can take advantage over Club Americas due to the fact that the game will be played in Queretaro and not in Azteca, and also due to America will present somewhat tired after the midweek game against Santos for Libertadores, where they were eliminated and the morale shouldn't also be the best. I am almost sure that they will score today and defending concentrate they can play with the pressure and desperation of Atlante. Jaguares are struggling against relegation while Monterrey are aimining at the championship. The H2H between the teams is in favour of Jaguares (7wins for Jaguares, 7 draws, 4 wins for Monterrey). The guests have some important missing players (Suazo, Ayovi and probably De Nigris). Jaguares has improved its offense, but remains weak in defense. The last 10 games between these 2 clubs have all ended over 2.5 goals. This spring in the Clausura America beat Tecos 3-1 on the road. I saw the game, both teams created chances in the 1st half, Tecos took theirs, while America responded in the 2nd half with 3 quick goals. Whenever these 2 teams meet they both score and the games end up high scoring. It has been the case with the last 2 visits of Tecos here. Last season America won 4-1 here, while 2 seasons ago it was a highly entertaining 3-3 draw. Keeper Ochoa left America this summer, so did winger Pardo. On the plus side Benitez signed, he was once the striker of Birmingham, played a full season there. Tecos have two 2-1 defeats already in the Apertura. Tigres has played to three consecutive draws in its 3 most recent matches. Tecos has one win (most recent match) and two losses in the last three matches. The teams have played to three consecutive draws between them at Tecos all with a 0-0 score. We could just get a 4th draw or even a 4th consecutive 0-0 score. Hope you will enjoy in here. :ok Thank you. - Monterrey is a top team in the mexican league, has a great coach and the atmosphere is good inside. They play at home (always hard) and Cruz Azul, having good players, has some problems with their game and things are a little moody. At home in the past 6 games (only Mexican league, no CONCACAF) Monterrey has won 5 and tied 1. They are 5th in the league, two places behind Cruz Azul but their schedule strength is definitely higher. Cruz Azul has played Atlas, Atlante, Tijuana at home (not the best opponents) and it was always close plus they were even lucky. My opinion is Monterrey is a little overlayed at 11/10 or so. YES (1.65) 2 UNITS The odds are not that great but I will take them anyway, these teams attack well yet their defense struggles specially America. Both lost last week and America will denitely try to win this game due to their poor results. America can score and I expect Morelia does too facing that weak defense.
