His current form has been franked by other horses from his last two races either winning or placing next time out. 12.50 Towcester - Battle Group - Hasn't found his form yet this season. Running in better class races last season resulted in four wins, one of which was a class one race at Aintree, may be suitably placed in this class 5 race today over a distance he has previously won at. 1.00 Fontwell - Be My Light - Conditons look good for Be My Light to get her head in front, She should act on the going and may be coming to form looking at her last three races. 1.40 Ffos Las - Kilvergan Boy - He has had a long campaign this season and managed to get his head in front twice. While better over further than today's distance, the going today may turn this race into more of a stamina test needed. 2.00 Kempton - Grand Crus - Very competitive race with all but one winning their last race. Grand Crus looks the standout horse here as his form is franked with horses winning and placing from his penultimate race. 2nd also to Big Bucks previously, who went on to win his next two races. 2.05 Fontwell - Run To Fly - Won his last four races and could well win his fifth on the trot today as the handicapper still may not have the measure of him. The danger looks to be Captain Becket who could be coming to form. 2.30 Towcester - Johns Spirit - The only winner in the field and looks to be progressive enough to take this. J O'Niell has had 6 winners and 2 places from his last 20 runners and the trainer/jockey combo at Towcester has resulted in 5 winners and 3 places from 20. 3.10 Kempton - Long Run - Won this race last year along with the Cheltenham Gold Cup this year. Four previous winners from the last 8 runnings of this race race went on to win again the following year, and the last four Gold Cup winners also went on to win this race (stats from Racecaller).
