not sure on what others would say, but i would fold. then psycholgically turn what i would of lost if i had called,into a win if you know what i mean. what i am trying to say is look after the pennies etc

I just don't know how you could fold this, at these levels he literally could have had anything and without any reads I would suspect he was trying a bluff. Unless I am mistaken you are only beaten by one hand, he has it, very unlucky - move on. I do think you needed to bet a lot more on the flop though.. I seem to remember somewhere reading that most players weak bet when they have a great hand and strong bet when they have a weak hand... Not being rude Teaulc, but if you fold so often as described in these hands then you must only play the nuts and must be very, very easy to be put off a hand. Good luck with your game :ok

Re: Wants to improve cash game In the first one c/r the flop as you have a ton of equity with overcards flush draw and back door straight draw - then bet big on any turn card. check-raising turn could work here after c/c flop as people won't really put you on a flush draw as you would have done it on flop so you can get more cred perhaps.

Like the play in 2nd hand as you say, used your position well, only thing is people often don't like folding even Qhigh flushes so it may be a high variance play.

Re: Wants to improve cash game I only play 1 table at a time. Used to play more but I have the kids around so would rather concentrate on just the one so I can multi task riund the house. It has taken me around 1 week to win $5 so not that quick. I dont play every day just now and again.
