Finally joined the forum after a year of reading your thoughts.Very difficult games this week coming from the FA cup matches..West Ham Arsenal is a no bet result for me.Once bookies give Arsenal these high odds away they rarely come back with anything.Should be a BTTS match though.
I love the Cardiff Huddersfield match.Home team for a DNB.
    The rest i will pass....

Aapo halme scored v qpr for leeds. He is a 6' 5" centre back who could come in to the team with leeds injuries even conceivably as a replacement for the suspended kalvin phillips in midfield. His goal minutes are 4 to buy with spreadex which i will try. Bet void if he doesn't start.
I've also had a small bet on alioski to score from outside the penalty area at 22/1 with skybet. He likes a shot from range and also with doubts about hernandez and douglas he could be on free kick duty.

I was thinking of playing Swansea since Preston look like they are struggling a bit.The second team i am looking at is Hull...how long can they continue to win because they are the most inform team looking at the log .I will give them the benefit of doubt since they play at home. The last one to complete my treble is Stoke City a new coach can do wonders......just wary of draws this weekend..

    Cardiff vs Huddersfield
It's one of the biggest games in Cardiff's season coming up this weekend when we face Huddersfield at the Cardiff City Stadium in this 3pm kick-off on Saturday. Is it a must-win game for both teams? Not quite. It will certainly have a huge impact on their season whatever the result.
Cardiff have got a very strong home record but recent defeats to Manchester United and Tottenham have tempered things slightly. Just 1 goal in their last 3 league games is also an issue for the Bluebirds who still sit just outside the relegation zone in 17th place on 18 points. It's 2 points above Southampton in 18th place so the bums are getting twitchy.
Huddersfield are quite frankly having a season to forget. David Wagner's side are rock bottom of the league table with just 10 points. The Terriers are 8 points adrift of safety and relegation back to the Championship is looking more and more likely with every passing game. Defeat here would put another nail in their coffin with the club now having suffered 9 defeats in a row in all competitions. The last win coming in a 2-0 win away to Wolves back on 25th November, 2018.
The situation is still the same with Cardiff fans. We're taking each game as it comes. The Tottenham result was disappointing but not entirely surprising. We've only lost 1 of our last 3 league games and there's more quiet optimism than ever that we can actually survive this season. We're expecting a full house for this game so the atmosphere should be rocking.
I'm not naive enough to think this is a given. I'm sure Huddersfield thought we were a given when we played them earlier in the season at their place and drew 0-0. I just feel given our performances at home against the teams around us and just above us we should really be looking to win this. It won't be a convincing win but I think we should have enough to sneak the win. @Kenton Schweppes might offer a different view. I wouldn't be shocked if Huddersfield snatched a draw but I'd be very gutted if we didn't get something from this game.

swindon hate playing at home. they won only 4 from 13 home games. lincoln won't be too downhearted about losing to everton in cup. i think they will win
would anyone back against carlisle? 6 wins in a row and scored 20 goals but will they as motivated again?  their run is going to stop at some point
i have been disappointed by colchester over the december fixtures. only 1 win in 6 speaks of poor form. they were touted as promotion candidates. port vale is scrapping for points and this match won't be easy for them
there is suddenly a lease of life from cambridge who were thumped 6-0 before winning their following fixture against stevenage. i don't believe their form will keep up. they have been terrible on their travels and notts county is poor as well managing only to scrap for draws

I´ve now played Stoke with medium Stakes. I got feeling, that now things will change positive for them. Luton Coach Jones are Favorite of the Job - but however the New Coach will be - this Game against Brentford is only a Game against Former Coach Rowett - i think. And they want to show him - how "easy" it´s going with this Team...

Yes, surely there will be an immediate improvement from Stoke. Cost me big money 3 times this season, the useless git - it finally dawned on me that he wasn't going to get them playing. If Stoke hadn't already cost me I'd be tempted @2/1.
Forest have had a poor run but I'd still fancy us to beat Reading, a few players likely to be back including a CB and Grabban. But no value at the prices.
I don't really fancy anyone else, maybe a chance for a rare Rotherham away win considering how bad Ipswich have been.

But for me against Nottingham who have to many Up´s and Down´s by there Performances - i think a Bet on Reading DNB are try to worth...
I´m also looking on the Away Wins or DNB´s on Swansea and Blackburn.

i am shocked at what's happening to qpr. at the start of season they they were beaten 7-1 and lost four consecutive games and seem destined for the drop but since they have jumped up to 9th. they are scoring goals and winning games too. they look like they could be in the mix for play offs places.
ipswich are getting relegated and i don't see any miracles from them anytime from now until end of season. i've stayed away from their games and it's probably good to keep it that way. rotherham are tough to beat when they dig their heels in
admittedly hull are very capable side and are showing that buy fact they are unbeaten in last 8 and scored 20 or so goals at same time. its exceptional stat but since the coming of bruce to sheff wed and facing his former club i wonder if he can get the draw. i am convinced her will setup for a point
i am disappointed in aston villa. they just can't seem to keep the goals out. i've got no idea if they signed anyone yet to help them out defensively but they have had 5 score draws in last couple of games. they are far too much liability to rely on

One Week to go, but on first View here this could be a nice Weekend in PL Fixtures for us.
On first view i like here the Win from Arsenal against WestHam. WestHam in last Games didn´t impressed me and on other Side Arsenal with now in next 4 Games with 2 MUST WIN´s... They play against WestHam,Cardiff and Chelsea + Man City. So if they want a small chance of Place 4 they must win for sure against WestHam and Cardiff.
Also i like the Both2Score in Burnley-Fulham Game...
Fulham must show reaction after that terrible out of FA-Cup today and if they have some quality then in my view it is in the Offensive.
Burnley on other Hand at Home hard to play and in last Games with good Performances. Last H2H with many Goals...

    Tottenham vs Chelsea
The EFL Cup Semi-Finals are here and we kick-off with a London derby between Tottenham and Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Wembley Stadium for this 8pm kick-off on Tuesday night. Which one of these two sides will take the advantage going into the second leg?
Tottenham are looking more and more like Premier League title contenders with every passing week but how much will they have to sacrifice to keep that going? The side Mauricio Pochettino put out for the 7-0 mauling of Tranmere Rovers on the weekend in the FA Cup was a mix of first team and fringe players. Will he do the same here? Personally, I think he wants to break that trophy duck by any means possible and he'll put all his big guns out for this one.
Chelsea are in need of a striker. Until that happens it looks like the issue of putting games to bed or even taking points from games will be an issue. The Blues struggled to see off Nottingham Forest with a 2-0 win on the weekend but they have dropped off the Premier League title pace after recent defeats to Tottenham, Wolves, and Leicester plus a 0-0 draw with relegation battlers Southampton since the end of November.
We could see some goals here despite the Chelsea striker issues. The midfield are dragging them through the short term problems. Maurizio Sarri's team have scored in 13 of their 14 away matches this season including the 3-1 defeat they suffered to Tottenham back on 24th November, 2018. To add to that, Tottenham have scored in all but one of their competitive home games this season but have only managed to keep clean sheets on four occasions.
Both sides are missing key players but the absentees are likely to hurt Chelsea more. Tottenham will likely be without Erik Lamela, Moussa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, and Eric Dier. Chelsea will most probably be missing Olivier Giroud, Pedro, and Willian.
I'm going to have to back a Tottenham win at this price. Chelsea will put up a fight against anyone but I think Tottenham are the stronger side in better form right now. You'd have to fancy Harry Kane to score and I think a narrow 2-1 win could be the eventual outcome here.

    Wolves vs Liverpool
The FA Cup 3rd Round action comes to a close tonight when Premier League clubs Wolves and Liverpool go head-to-head at Molineux for this 7:45pm kick-off. Will we see yet another upset after yesterday's drama or can the Reds put their defeat to Manchester City behind them to prevail victorious?
Wolves are performing well back in the top flight after a prolonged absence. Nuno Santo's side are 9th and only need a handful of wins to confirm their spot in the top division of English football for next season. The club is enduring an inconsistent run of form with 1 win, 1 draw, and 2 defeats in their last 4 league games. However, they have taken points against a number of big teams this season including Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
Liverpool remain top of the Premier League with a 4 point advantage over rivals Manchester City despite their defeat in their last league game. It was a first defeat of the season for Jurgen Klopp's team and the big question now will be how well they can bounce back after that loss? They beat Wolves 2-0 in this fixture in the league just before Christmas so that match will still be relatively fresh in the players' minds.
The Reds boast the superior head-to-head record over recent meetings. Liverpool have won 4 and lost 2 of the last six encounters between the two teams. This could be a dull affair with Wolves seeing less than three goals scored in 9 of their 12 competitive home games this season and Liverpool only seeing more than two goals scored in 7 of their 14 away competitive matches this campaign.
As a few of you have mentioned, the FA Cup is likely to be down the pecking order for Liverpool this season. It's very much a season built around the Premier League and Champions League. I think we can expect Liverpool to rest a number of players. Wolves are stuck in the middle of the table without much realistic hope of Europe or relegation. I can see the home side really going for this tonight and potentially springing a surprise win... although I'm not sure it would be that surprising if Liverpool field a weaker side.

If Liverpool's hierarchy is in line, obviously the cup is going to third place after the championship and the Champions League. Unfortunate at this stage to fall on a good team like Wolves and even away. It may be that Coop's coach has made some changes in his original composition and the "Reds" do not have the enormous quality bench. Wolves' hosts have a qualifying set and can compete against their current opponent

    Gillingham vs Cardiff
If you want to know a game in the FA Cup this weekend where there's likely to be an upset then it's quite likely to happen at the Priestfield Stadium for this 3pm kick-off where League One side Gillingham will entertain Premier League club Cardiff. I'm not saying we've been ineffective in the FA Cup under Neil Warnock but... well, we have!
Gillingham are not exactly enjoying the best time this season with the club sat in 18th position in League One just 1 point above the relegation zone. Steve Lovell is probably not in danger of losing his job but the last thing the club wants is to suffer relegation back down to League Two. A cup game like this will offer welcome relief from the stress of league action.
Cardiff are also battling in their own fight in the Premier League. Warnock's men are exceeding expectations by being sat in 17th place but survival in the top flight of English football is certainly the priority. Warnock has never prioritised the FA Cup when with us so we're not expecting that to change here. This could be a last chance saloon game for a number of fringe players who could be facing the exit door in January if they don't impress.
This fixture has seen a large number of goals. The last time these two sides met was back on 30th April, 2005. It was a 1-1 draw at the Priestfield Stadium but both clubs were in different situations back then. They last met in the FA Cup even further back on 7th December, 1996 when Gillingham prevailed as 2-0 winners in the FA Cup 2nd Round.
As a Cardiff fan, I'm already writing this one off. I love the FA Cup. I have so many memories of this competition. From playing non-league Enfield to beating Manchester City in 1994 and Leeds in 2002. Then there was our run to the final in 2008. It's a brilliant cup competition but we have other priorities this season so focus on the FA Cup is taking a break. I can see Gilllingham catching us out. Warnock will play a back up side and our back up players are notoriously poor when coming in for these games. I can see a 2-1 loss for us or maybe a 1-1 draw. I'll advise the double chance because maybe I'm just being a typically pessimistic Bluebird!

    Woking vs Watford
If you want a David versus Goliath fixture in the FA Cup this weekend then you need look no further than National League South side Woking hosting Premier League Watford at the Kingfield Stadium in a 2pm kick-off on Sunday afternoon. Is this the big upset of the 3rd Round that we're all waiting for? Hmm.
Woking are a team not to be written off. The Cardinals are 2nd in their division 5 points behind league leaders Torquay but with three games in hand. Alan Dowson's team are looking to rise back up to the National League after relegation last season. It's been a memorable season so far but could it get even better here?
Watford are continuing to remain in the top half of the Premier League table. Javi Gracia's men are 8th in the table but it's now three league games without a win for the Hornets. The club is likely safe from relegation this season so you'd think they're the exact sort of side along with your Everton, Bournemouth, and Leicester etc that would be keen to give the FA Cup a real go.
There isn't much form for us to reflect on coming into this game. Woking lost by three goals when they last played a team in the Football League. Watford also won by three goals when they last played lower league opposition at this round of this competition. I have a feeling this game could end in a similar manner.

@willie82, I hope you didn't back us today. Warnock never reveals much about his side before cup games but you know he'll at best mix it up. I felt he should have given more fringe and youth players a start. Playing half reserve players and half first team players just meant we lost any cohesion. Even giving reserve players a go would have held some cohesion because they are playing in the reserves every week. Nevermind, disappointing loss but not surprising.

Accrington won against Colchester in the first round before cruising past Cheltenham.
Having picked up just two wins in the first half of their Championship campaign, a cup competition is likely to be the last thing on the minds of Ipswich’s players. Ipswich have shown very little sign of improvement under Paul Lambert and suffered defeats (without scoring!) to Nottingham Forest, Stoke, QPR and Middlesbrough in December.
