How come Wilson is underdog at 2.20 against the Thai guy in the final??? Before seeing the odds I expected him to be favorite at 1.60 or 1.70

I couldn't believe that odds either, jumped on that price before it started, he's looking value for money so far.....

Didn't see Jimmy vs Dom but maybe Jimmy ran out of steam as I watched Dom vs Joe tonight and Dom played poorly. Kyren was awful too and deserved to go out, match didn't finish until half twelve. I only got to the venue about 11 pm tonight.

In the evening matches, I'm going to take a punt on Matthew Stevens to beat Selby, too. I watched bit of Selby against Sean O'Sullivan yesterday and he was really poor. He only made one 50+ break in the whole match. Stevens beat Selby in the last h2h and hit 4 50+ breaks in his win over Sarkis. I think there is value in the 3/1
    2pts Stevens to beat Selby 3/1 Bet365

Very lucky final frame for Walden. Irritating. Completely fluked a snooker safe.
I ask myself who is more boring to watch... Walden at Snooker or Rob Cross at Darts.

Stevens definitely had a great chance and Cahill should have beaten Luca, some shocking frames today! I almost thought about popping along after 10pm but was too lazy, would have been worth it as they didn't finish until 12.30am with Jimmy White winning the decider on the black!

Well, it's not the greatest of starts with the outright bets. 2 down already and just Carter and Kyren remain. On the match betting today there is one I like in the morning (10 am) matches and it's Jamie Clarke to beat Martin O'Donnell. I don't get why Clarke is the underdog. Clarke won the last head-to-head and is in better form, too. He beat the likes of Kyren Wilson, Dave Gilbert & Xiao Guodong in the last month. MOD had some good form back in October but in November has lost to Hill & Wakelin and has been thrashed 6-0 twice in the past month.
I'm also giving a chance to Ursenbacher, taking on Walden. Both of these players can be hit or miss but I think Ursenbacher is on an upward trend whilst Walden is on a downward one.
    3pts J.Clarke to beat MOD Evens Bet365
    2pts Ursenbacher to beat Walden 6/4 Bet365

Anastasija Sevastova to beat Marina Bassols Ribera at 1.67 with Unibet
With her win over Yastremska yesterday, it's fair to say that Sevastova is back and swinging, and I don't expect a clay courter like Bassols Ribera to stop her.

Abedallah Shelbayh to beat Luca Van Assche at 2.75 with William Hill
I'm playing this for the odds. Nothing is expected from Shelbayh, but he's "the local guy", and Van Assche was awful last time out, losing 2-6 0-6 against Fery. No reason to have Shelbayh at 2.75 here imo, I'd be 2.25.

Nice blast from the past tomorrow, RBA against Fognini in Valencia finals! They haven't played each other since 2019, H2H is 8-3 in Fognini's favour.

Polona Hercog to beat Maria Lourdes Carle at 1.91 with William Hill
Hercog looked better than Carle last week in Colina, and their last meeting was so close that I think she should have a slight edge here. Hercog played less this season, but she's coming back now, and could also have more energy than Carle if it comes to that.

Colina - M. Lourdes Carle to beat D. Parry - 2.57 with Pinnacle

Parry was on a 7 match losing streak before dropping down to 25k level to build some confidence, reached the SF but lost to #280, then played a 60k and lost in the final to #224 so she's not at her highest level yet. Lourdes Carle has won 8 of her last 10 matches, all on clay, winning a 40k title in the process.
Parry might have the edge but she's a bit short for me on current form.

Leolia Jeanjean to beat Despina Papamichail 2-0 at 2.00 with William Hill
I think this is playable at evens. I watched Papamichail against Sierra, and both players were all over the place, but Sierra was incredibly erratic and handed Papamichail the win on a silver platter, more or less. Jeanjean should be able to keep the ball in play long enough to make Papamichail make the unforced error, and her easy win over Anshba suggests that she has no issues with the Colina conditions.

Novak Djokovic to win ATP Finals 2023 at 2.38 with Bet365
With the rest of the field falling away a bit after the US Open, Djokovic stepped on the gas pedal and won the Paris Masters in style, so he should be primed for a win here. Except Alcaraz, everyone seems to have a mental block against him as well, and these aren't the ideal conditions for the Spaniard.

    Ronnie v Anda.
very little value out there for me in a match. I thought about going for centuries bet but I’m more looking forward to the Darts today I think.
    you having a bet?

a knock down to Fury. He didn't go down once and looked to be in control throughout and it still gets given to Fury. Pathetic.

I think the only way Ford wins it is if Anda beats Ronnie. Your first ranking final, the last person you want to play is Ronnie. Ronnie leads the h2h 6-2 and the only 2 wins for Ford were 'bingo matches' in the shootout and wst pro series

Jack Draper to beat Adrian Mannarino at 1.62 with Bet365
Draper is on a 9-match winning streak and he hasn't even needed a tie-break so far in this tournament, so I'm not sure that Mannarino will be able to handle him. He certainly hasn't looked as great to me in this event, and I hope he won't break that tomorrow!

Fabio Fognini (+1.5 sets) to beat Ugo Humbert at 2.07 with Unibet
Happy to back Fognini for a set again after yesterday. Humbert is quite similar to Sonego style-wise.

Fabio Fognini (+1.5 sets) to beat Lorenzo Sonego at 1.86 with Unibet
Fognini has been doing Fognini things so far this week, and with quite some success, so I imagine he'll be pumped up against his compatriot. I don't exactly trust him to win, as he can go insane at times, but a set at 1.86 is a proposition I very much like.

I'm going with 3 in the 11:30 matches. The Maguire/Day one is a hard one to call because Day hit a 147 in this event and that normally means that a player is playing well and carving out the right shots. He also has a good recent record against Maguire. However, Maguire is playing better and beating better opponents and so I'll side with him. I also think Junxu is worth backing. He beat Ding in their only h2h. McGill has improved his form massively in this event after looking hopeless a week prior. He can trouble Ronnie. Who is still coasting really in 2nd gear.
    2.75pts Maguire to beat Day 8/11 Bet365
    2pts Junxu to beat Ding 13/8 Bet365
    2pts McGill to beat O'Sullivan 11/4 Coral

    1pt treble - Junxu, McGill and Hawkins -1.5 9/1 Bet365

Christopher O'Connell to beat Hamad Medjedovic at 1.80 with Bet365
I honestly still don't like Medjedovic indoors all that much, O'Connell tends to be far more stable with his baseline game, and, based on the most recent results, I also think there's a slight chance that Medjedovic is already checked out from this season.
