In the 5.15 at Kempton I like the David Simcock trained Cash, trading around the 3.25 mark. Just two runs to his name but a very good two runs, the last of them being beaten just a neck by the subsequent Derby 3rd Westover who then went on th win a Group 1 and is now rated 116 whilst Cash after two runs is rated ust 107 with hopefully more to come. He would be cear favourite if not for the drop back in trip and a Gosden trained horse in the race, Dhabab  who won a Class 2 Handicap off top weight and prior to that had ran well in four Group raceswithout threatening. With Spencer in the saddle we can expect a hair raising finish as usual as he has held the horse up both times to date.

I had a feeling that Heure De Gloire would not sustain its long lead and laid it to lose.  I hate it when jockeys do this sort of thing.  I can only remember Martin Pipe's horses being able to bowl along in front and regularly stay there.  I still cocked up with the Richard Westwood race and overlooked his combination forecast.  Got paid out each way on Lifetime Ambition.  Still lost on the day 6.30 points so MTD = -43.6 and YTD -255..34.  Things can only get better
