  1. Sure enough as soon as I posted that she implodes and gets broken to love! 🤣
  2. Your thoughts on Elena Gabriela Ruse were very accurate @neilovan. She's more than holding her own against Badosa currently. 500/1 to win the title still with Paddy Power. Pretty unlikely I know but still can't resist throwing some small change on her.
  3. Temperatures will be up to 36 degrees Celsius today so could be a good day to fade players with fitness issues or who struggle in very hot and humid conditions. Shang perhaps?
  4. "Zheng could win the whole thing." I agree. I watched some of her match today and she looked back herself after starting off a bit hesitant in the first set. Vekic could give her a match if she's focussed, other than that though she should sail through to the quarters where Sabalenka awaits. That's the big one, she wins that and she has a great chance of taking the title. She's 40/1 still with Bet365, I'm having a piece of that.
  5. Although I was on Carlos, was glad to see Novak win the title, he withstood a load of breakpoints early on to come through in a tight match, ultimately he was the stronger player on the day. Pure emotion from him at the end. Quite touching, you can see how much it means to him. Congrats Novak, legend!! 👌😎
  6. Sounds good chief, if I'm free I'll tune in!
  7. I'm not in favour of it. I think that regardless of hormone replacement etc, someone with a male physiology, no matter if they have already transitioned, will still retain those physical advantages over women, even if they are less pronounced in less physical sports like darts.
  8. Only saw part of this match but Reilly started well and then totally lost his way, and got his ass handed to him in that second set especially, going by this he's still got a lot of work to do to get back to the player he was.
  9. It's incredible how many breakpoints Nakashima has saved, including two match points! Humbert might be thinking "how on earth am I not done with this match already and preparing for the next one?". Psychologically it might play on his mind, then again the best professionals can deal with this and close off the match on their return. But I think if Humbert loses that tiebreak then the psychological edge is all with Nakashima.
  10. Boylesports offer 6/4 special on Keys and Gauff both to win 2-0, looks good to me
  11. Great call on Plaisier @Fader! Both are playing really well, should be a cracking final!
  12. Well I threw some small change on him for my sins but I'm not that confident! 😁
  13. Ah shame, one breakpoint so far for Paolini and she took it alas, at 6/1 though it was worth a go.
  14. Swiatek to win the match without losing a service game, 6/1 with Skybet. If Paolini is overawed by the occasion, and doesn't perform(which could happen), then this has a chance of coming in.
  15. Complete implosion from Andreeva.. I wonder has the big occasion gotten to her? She's playing even worse than Rybakina did yesterday. Paolini playing solid but nothing remarkable but Andreeva just hasn't showed up at all, particularly in this second set, could be a breadstick at this rate. 😕
  16. Or she could go and lose her serve the very next game! 🤣 Womens' tennis ftw!!! 😁😆
  17. Sabalenka looks to have righted the ship now, a break up in the third, so long as she doesn't go on a double faulting spree, she should be home and hosed in another fifteen or twenty minutes time.
  18. I don't know what the heck happened to her, 🙈 completely unfocussed out there, dreadful performance, Paolini did well but Rybakina pretty much handed the match to her with that shocking effort.
  19. Paolini is due to play in the doubles today with Errani, as well her singles match vs Rybakina. It's still not clear from the schedule as to which match she will play first, but if it's the doubles, then I think her winning the singles match afterwards is even less likely. Even if the singles match is on first, I still can't see Paolini winning, unless she plays out of her skin, something I don't see happening. Doubling Rybakina with Sabalenka gives you .55 or .6 to 1 generally. Not exactly great odds but I really cannot see either underdog winning here.
  20. Unbelievable... From a double break up in the final set, Griekspoor is now in the process of handing the match to Zverev on a silver platter. Give me strength.. 🙈🤦‍♂️
  21. Ha, they finally spotted it! He's into 100/1 now all of a sudden! 🤣
  22. Griekspoor making a game of this, great to see. And I know he's highly unlikely to win the tournament but even so, Boylesports still have him at a gargantuan 1000/1 to win the title. At those odds, its surely worth a quid e/w.
  23. Danilovic still available at 500/1 with Paddy Power and Vekic at 275s. Either could feasibly make the quarters, alas Swiatek lies in wait there most likely..
  24. Crikey, Danilovic seems to have clicked into gear and Cocciaretto is still ahead, let's hope both can close the deal! 😎👌
  25. Damn I think we've jinxed her! 🤣 Just blew a matchpoint and made several unforced errors in that last game, some really bad ones. Nerves playing havoc with her it looks like, Swiatek has a great chance now.. 🙁
