  1. Re: Ashes - In play/Discussion thread The bookies..are all getting the money ready to pay out...Fortunes won on this game by the sensible ones....Thank you bookies:nana....1.12...England...That s free bloody money...10 the draw..the only possibility....still dreaming....and for the world record win in the history of lords..70 Australia...even Rodney Marsh wouldn't take them odds...And you know why England will bat till Lunch..and make it 600 plus....so the ECB have a chance of not paying a 5th day money back..:ok

  2. Re: The Ashes FREE MONEY.......LAY AUSTRALIA.............I know 20/1 on Betfair....but I wont ever bet on Cricket again..If they won,,Impossible....300 lead with 7 wickets in hand..I hope they hit 450 by 5pm all out,,,and have 20 overs tonight...Australia should be 1000/1......

  3. Re: British Open~18th-21st July

I would be happy to still back anyone within 6 or 7 shots so those at +4 can make a move today, and all you need is to be around level par going into tomorrow unless the leaders come back to the field even more I left out Jiminez as he was on my list and i did him 1st rdf leader instead as i never feel he will go the distance although until he fails, the 175/1 will haunt me !
No!!!!and me....:sad...Still we have a couple running for us in the outright...:hope
  4. Re: Saturday 3 x Doubles and 1 x Treble Thread

-£25....rolling.........Week 2..........same bet.......1st Selection.... LIFE AND SOUL 4.30 CARTMEL...3/1 ... That was no disgrace last time against SAINT ROQUE' date= that horse is going places over hurdles..Today, on this tight track, the selection should be able to dominate and take some catching around these tight turns..best jockey in the field on board, stable in and out of form, off a 40 day rest, looks value to me....2nd Selection..... MUSHAAKIS 4.20 RIPON....2/1.. A great run last time at sandown, I just feel he will be able to dominate more today, and dane O'neil is getting winners. 33RIPOSTE 6.15 CURR...11/4.. The ribblesdale form is better for me, it was in some quick time that day, I just believe she is the best middle distance filly around.........All prices with Paddy Power BOG..GL
....Don't know why this posted like this...Life and soul.....Mushaakis...Riposte....happy punting

355 Cartmel: Royale Knight 9/4 Boylesports Off to Cartmel tomorrow for the first time so feel bound to have a selection there. I like Royale Knight for Dr Richard Newland, he bumped into one last time at Newton Abbot when No Loose Change bounced back to form. Nothing of that calibre here and runs off the same mark. I still think this horse is progressing and should be able to do some damage off 112. Four top trainers in opposition which should keep the price honest.
Have a great day, strangest track ive ever been too....Try to get there early....and if your not in for the last...get on the road...its a nightmare getting out.:ok
  7. Re: Ashes - In play/Discussion thread Id like to take credit for this....However a better wordsmith than me says!.......A mixture of mystification and misery among the Australian spectators at HQ at this remarkable rattle of wickets. Six have now gone for less than 50 runs, a tragi-comic combination of dismal reviews, woeful shots and appalling decision-making. This remains an excellent track to bat on - there has been nothing so far for the pace bowlers, and while Graeme Swann is finding turn, Australia have been the architects of their own MCC mausoleum."

250 Newbury: Rock Choir 11/4 Stan James I was impressed by Rock Choir last time at Goodwood over a furlong shorter and think this trip will see even more improvement. Has the useful Wall Of Sound to beat but i'm sure she beat anything last time out and will need to step up to win this. The Haggas team are in good nick and expect a solid run from the selection today.
Thank Billy..Followed you there:clap, your hitting a bit of form..Long may it continue!...Plus England are doing the business:nana
  9. Re: Ashes - In play/Discussion thread 361 all out England...which is 50 above the average....42-1...Australia at Lunch...You can see this pitch starting to go...and for me Australia will be lucky to get within a 100 of England...Whatever happens I expect England to be batting again by Lunch tomorrow, or there abouts...This game is Englands to win or draw...AUSTRALIA HAVE NO CHANCE OF WINNING THIS...I have laid Australia to a lot..at 3.8...England at 2.26 does stand out...its either that or the draw....NO OTHER RESULT..

  10. Re: British Open~18th-21st July

Poulter and others were definitely complaining about the pin positions' date=' hence the windmill and clown references. I saw a lot of the 8th hole on the interactive feed, and the position was definitely ridiculous. It was almost impossible to miss your putt and stay inside 5 feet, it would just roll away.[/quote'] But its the same for everyone....12 level or better....and a couple of them had faster conditions than Poulter...n Mickleson...maybe the 2:30pm tee offs today don't inspire them.
  11. Re: The Jockey Thread

Thursdays Listed 1m6f race at leopardstown was a bit of a farce, last year's Irish St Ledger winner Royal Diamond was allowed a 20 length lead and ended up winning with ease, pretty inept of the other jockeys to let the winner get so far in front. I'm don't really follow Irish racing, but to me it happens with a bit of regularity.
Constant...In flat graded races m8...I pointed out a couple of weeks ago(before n after the race)..a 4 horse G3 race..3 from Coolmore..and 1 complete rag....the 2nd fav from Coolmore that was still an entire...had not won a Group race out the 3 of them....the 4/9 shot(jo'b), started very slow, lost 8 lens..never put in the race,,the othere 2 was like watching a breeze up gallop...Neddless to say the right 1 won,,,and well backed...Come Racing Eh!:rollin
  12. Re: British Open~18th-21st July

Poulter is entitled to his opinion. He is the one playing the course. He wasn't the only one. As for his ego, i'd have some ego too if i was a self made hard working multi millionaire with my dream job. People don't seem to get Poulter, i used hate him, i now understand him.
Aidy im all for great talents, Im all for hard work....I don't like the Windmill rubbish...Somehow I could never imagine, Tom W, Jack N, Sandy L etc coming out with comments like that, In fact I cant think of a MAJOR winner who would...If there is ever a game were you need to keep a lid on it..Its this one...Poulter had a new putter this week...Maybe he should launch that in the north sea...and keep his Childish comments to himself.
  13. Re: British Open~18th-21st July

Poulter was complaining at the pin positions wasn't he not the speed of the greens. He wasn't the only one. Mickelson shot -2 and still said some pins were harsh. I'm all for tough golf' date=' I prefer it to the silly -20 winning tournaments and things but when you can't get close to a pin even with a good shot because it's placed on the crest of a slope it becomes pretty stupid imo.[/quote'] No m8...he was saying it was easier in the morning,,,which started out at 11 on the greens, pins fine then, tough yes,,but mid to late afternoon, was getting to 13 poss 14, which is Augusta speed, to me that's the luck of the draw, and tomorrow morning will be slower,,so it flips...Its the best n hardest in the world when its sunny, Links golf...However, he aint getting much support off the public, his twitter is getting hammered from the general public,,,nothing to do with him playing poor shots of course..and the windmill quip was so "spitting his dummy" out...Unreal, no respect for the tournament.....
  14. Re: Flat Racing July 18th 2013

You couldn't make it up, tried to post a picture of my account to prove the bet so people wouldn't accuse me of making this up, but why would I? 2.20 - Bri - Tobougg Happy 4/5 won 2.40 - Lei - Excel's Beauty 4/6 won 3.00 - Ham - Statutory 1/1 won 3.10 - Lei - Telescope 1/2 won 3.40 - Lei - Ghasabah 11/4 won 7.15 - Eps - Fire Fighting 2/1 won 8.20 - Eps - Love Marmalade 1/2 placed!!!!! 201.5/1 £10 accumulator Shortest price of the lot. Gutted.
Very Unlucky, but I have to ask, why not trade the grand running on,,,,?, or backing the other 5 for lesser stakes,,?
  15. Re: British Open~18th-21st July

yep pathetic and surprised at Poulter to be honest. Its a links FFS and been dry for 3 weeks' date=' it will be fast and the greens will be scorched.[/quote'] Yeah...TOM W...JACK N...1977....a scorched Turnberry...both 10 shots ahead of the rest..."WHO WERE'NT GOOD ENOUGH TO COPE WITH LIGHTNING FAST GREENS"....They played amazing golf to cope with conditions...POULTER...needs to get rid of that EGO!, and check the great players how they coped with fast links courses...
  16. Re: BBOTD - Thursday 18th July 8.30 DONCASTER HIT THE JACKPOT....7/2 STAN JAMES..The ex Dermot Weld horse, looks like he will do well for his new yard, now down to 83, he should be capable off this mark, my only worry would be the head gear not being used, But I reckon he is good enough without it, hopefully tonights the night.
