    Re: Ashes - In play/Discussion thread Ok,,,end of play on day 3....day 4 should be a full day...day 5 looks an absolute washout....rain all day is forecast .....so 1 day left IMO....They may get a few overs Monday afternoon..MAY.....294-7...34 to avoid follow on...that's first...then just to block, nudge into that score...if Australia bat again...they will need 350 plus in front before they declare.....YES A DRAW...Only because of Monday....The rain is coming, you can bet on that.

Last season, Sheff Utd's home games averaged just over 40 points per game, whilst Notts County averaged 45 points per game away from home - the league average over the last 5 seasons is 33 points per game, so as you can see, both of these teams respective home and away fixtures are well above the league average. Referee Keith Stroud averages 39 points per game. These sides have met twice at Bramall Lane in the league in the last few years, the first in 2010/11 produced 85 points whilst last season produced 70 points.

    Winner Moviesta drifts violently left and completely prevents Tickled Pink from winning. Then Swiss Spirit was coming with a late burst, and he came across and intimidated that horse. I think Moviesta was the best horse in the race, but why should a horse be allowed to win a race in this fashion, the same as Elusive Kate v Sky Lantern although not as bad?
    You have to punch and drag a jockey off a horse to be disqualified in the uk...

This game is a draw 100% for me now....wd Australia in stopping the whitewash....England will retain the ashes....MAY AS WELL STOP THE GAME NOW...England will bat for as long as humanly possible...the weather will kill it on Monday for sure....

    Day 2 of the 3rd test starts today with Australia 303-3. Yesterday was a dry' date= flat pitch and was ideal for batting but today may be different. A new ball, overcast weather and maybe abit of swing may change England's luck and I like the look of "Australia's 1st innings being under 502.5" @ Evens with Bet365

    yes i do and to predict the aussies would be all out by tea is a joke' date='"the aussies won the toss" yeh your right,but i dont see the "immense pressure",hey im allowed my opinion,and my opinion is if your prepared to make such bold statements then also be prepared to accept the criticism.i want england to win of course i do, but you never give the aussies the respect they deserve.[/quote'] And BTW up to yesterday...every old statement I have made on this series..has eventually happened,,,so forgive me if I got the out by 5pm....if hotspot was working right,,they would have been very close.to being out..after lunch England bowled like demons at times....and how many went past the bat early on..the slip catch that should have been.i could go on..lucky batsmen..you betcha...
