  1. Re: Flat Racing - Friday 2nd of August (Goodwood Day 4) Now I may be boots deep in the red ball stuff at the moment...but just like yesterday..our odds compilers at CORAL...have made a boo boo...TH,AIR yesterday 15/2....went off 9/2...TODAY....6/1 GLORY AWAITS....2.30 Goodwood...1/4 odds in a dead 8.....should be 9/2 at a 1/5 off the odds.....Plenty of money to be made here with no risk,,you know what I mean....However,,,for all those people who ain't convinced by the classic form....how far would this lot finished in the deep on Wednesday behind the two best milers around....glory awaits has been there..this is a gift of old Joe today.

  2. Re: Ashes - In play/Discussion thread

too early to panic...maybe...but i think england are already done for...it they bat two sessions tomo...no way england is chasing it down n then building a lead. anderson n broad have been very average or maybe its just the pitch not offering anything to the seamers. time to hedge..:unsure
see my post on the betting ashes thread m8... To many after timers around....if I come on here yesterday I'd be fuming...was hot spot working?
  3. Re: The Ashes So a bad start, but ENGLAND CAN SEE THIS THRU...or at least get myself out with a trade..which I ain't done yet...Today is a mish mash of weather and the rain may miss late on...Australia have to win. To win the ashes..a draw is no good..they may look at it as a moral victory if they get a draw, but England retain on a draw...the weather is the big thing here...cos now Monday has to play a part..this morning the weather will favor bowling..and for me England have to bowl the other 7 by 2-3pm...then they need to score quicker for at least 4 sessions...if this happens SUNDAY will be the crunch day...OVERCAST VERY MUGGY all day, maybe a slight chance of a shower,,,but if ever conditions fav bowling, it will be Sunday.......now never in this series have been approaching 8/1...if you have the resolve, it's time to go in again, and that's we're we stand...bail...or go again...I've seen test matches turn around many many times in worse scenes than this...Don't think this is over...

  4. Re: The Ashes

your predictions couldnt be any further out m8' date='are you betting with your pocket or your heart, cos to say england will be batting by 5pm is a mssive silly statement to make.[/quote'] You know or watch cricket.?....a load of luck for the Aussies, and they won the toss, between 2-3pm these two in any other game would have been out...so shuffle along with your after the ball comments...
  5. Re: The Ashes WHOEVER wins toss will bat...I'm confident on that...I don't see England drifting if any m8...It's a win win situation for England in my book...if AUS bat, the pressure they will be under will be immense..and England for me will be batting or almost batting by 5pm...IF England bat, they will still be batting tomorrow...take the price is my advice..

  6. Re: The Ashes 4/5 365 n sky bet still...the best trade bet you will ever see...thursday Friday n hopefully Saturday..full days play...the bookies are hoping there will be disruption Sunday..n monday there is a small chance...however I reckon this will be almost over by Saturday night....one hand n three fingers on the little trophy...c'mon ENGLAND...Make the bookies squirm....William hill went evens at the start. To win the ashes...who do they take advice on markets from...?...unreal...just shows when they have an opinion how wrong they are. How much they rely on betfair to make a market.

  7. Re: Flat Racing ~ Wednesday 31st (Day 2 Goodwood)

2.30 EXCESS KNOWLEDGE. 15/8 HILLS....My word I'm surprised they have held this.....LOOK AT THE SIRE...if there is a horse running today' date=' who will want this dig in the ground, and this extra distance,,it's this one,,and the sire tells you his good ones progress with every run...for me this is the bookie brasher of the day...lets hope he makes Em pay.[/quote'] 10/1. For the ST LEGER...fill up.
  8. Re: The Jockey Thread Secret number won't be in the same parish next time they meet....7/1 for the Stl?..be 2/1 on the day...I'll have any bet with anyone at evens..that anything in this race comes up against secret knowledge again..will be 2nd to him.....YOU HAVE JUST SEEN YOUR LAST CLASSIC WINNER TODAY..

Re: BBOTD Tuesday 29th July 6.20 Worcester AWAYWITHEGREYS..11/4 STAN JAMES...He should finally get his head in front, wrong track last time, today he is taking on weaker opposition and Worcester right up his street, can see him grinding out from a long way out...should be fav,,,what a price tonight, all aboard pay day..

  11. Re: Season Handicap Betting

I agree they were very solid at Home last year and have added two good strikers. They get +44 with Betvic the same as Stoke. I know which one I'd rather put my money on.
I've got them on 44-46....they won't be far away from that plus 44...top 6 on handicap for me.
