  1. 7.55 Roscommon: Claudio Monteverdi @ 6/1 Bet365

One last chance for this colt.He caught the eye quite impressivelly on his first three career starts and seemingly trained on when getting off the mark at Leopardstown earlier this year but couldn't quite follow-on from there. Tongue tie fitted for this first time may help, the return to soft ground is in his favour and this Listed contest is, bar the favourite who has ground and trip worries, a very ordinary one.

  2. 5.50 Windsor: Eternal Dream E/W @ 25/1 Betfred

Dream Ahead offspring does exceptionally well on softish ground, so the conditions here won't be an issue. He can produce plenty of speedy, precocious two year olds and the fact that the mare was Listed place as a juvenile herself is indiciation enough that Eternal Dream may surprise here today first time out.

  3. 5.00 Royal Asoct: Pacodalia @ 40/1 Bet365 EW

Still a maiden and tough mark judged on that but Murtagh won't bring her over just for the day out. Paco Boy is quite a hot sire this season who's offspring performs well on soft ground. This daughter finished with plenty of credit behind Irish 2000 Guineas winner Awtaad at the Curragh in May, though failed to win a maiden subsequently. But the step up in trip to 1m is sure to suit today and there could be still more to come.

  4. 3.40 Ascot: Devonshire @ 11/1 VC

Last years Irish 1000 Guineas third looks underappreciated here. Her win record isn't impressive, however she has an aweful lot of big performances to her name and she comes into this race after winning a decent Group 2 at the Curragh over 1m when last seen. The soft ground is totally in her favour, and while giving weight away isn't an advantage, I believe she has plenty of class to go close.

  5. 8.00 Kempton: Semra @ 12/1 Ladbrokes

Wide open race with question marks hanging over the head of most. Semra looks bred for the job though, likely to improve for the step up in trip. Placed in all three starts she took well to handicap company at Chelmsford lto where she was a clear run denied turning for home, the eventual winner got first run on her but she stayed on strongly. 4lb up makes life tougher but with added experience and the new trip she could well be able to defy it if she takes to Kempton's polytrack.

  6. 3.45 Brighton: Echo Brava @ 8/1 Bet365

Possibly a tough assignement on his return given the current handicap mark, but good chance he's ready to go and this little race isn't very competitive, taken out the strong favourite. He's sure to act on the fast ground and certainly likes the trip; track shouldn't be an issue given he also ran well at crazy Epsom in the past. If the favourite doesn't deliver then there's a big chance for Echo Brava who would only need to run close to his mark to have a big chance.

  7. 3.15 Chantilly: Prix Du Jockey Club - Raseed @ 10/1 Bet365

Wide open race, can be chaotic, so a good draw and start can be vital. Raseed drawn in four should have enough early speed to settle in a good position and he looked smart winning a Group 3 over course and distance when last seen. This is tougher but he has every chance to improve again and vitally is certain to enjoy the soft ground.

  8. 4.30 Epsom: Seventh Heaven @ 25/1 Bet365

It might be unwise to oppose Minding but I feel this dramatic step up in trip is against her, also the fact she had this tough race at the Curragh following on from Newmarket can't be positive. There are some interesting alternatives, most interesting Minding's stable mate Seventh Heaven. Slight concerns about the ground and that we haven't seen her in a while but I liked the way she won the Oaks Trial at Lingfield. She was gutsy and seemed to have more to give. If she handles the track I can see her running a big race.
