1.50 Sedgefield MUWALLA 4/1 bet365 / General. Loves it around Sedgefield. A winner around here last time after a 8 month break. He carries 5lb more and won't want to much rain, but he drops in grade today and has a good chance to follow up.
6.20 Killarney BUMBASINA 7/2 bet365 / General. Won a decent maiden last time out at Gowran Park. It was a nice performance from her and she looks promising.

Been a while since I been on hope I am in right place. 3.45 Haydock CERTIFICATE 7/2 Bet365 has the ability to start his campaign off with a good run in this race. He finished last season with a solid performance in a Group 2 at Newmarket and with his stable in good form he must go close in this event.

3:00 ASCOT. SIRE DE GRUGY. Has come right back to form this year and can put up a strong challenge to Mullins camp. Winner of the Tingle creek two runs back and 3/4L behind the rejuvenated Sprinter Sacre last time out at Kempton. Un De Sceaux fall last time is for me a little off putting considering the price. Best price Sire De Grugy 11/4 paddy power 5/2 General could be a nice little bet, C/D winner a plus.

3:00 Warwick BORN SURVIVOR surely stands head and shoulders above these. He won like a good horse here in December. Dan Skelton ran Three Musketeers in this race last year (winning) and rates born survivor superior to his inmate. He also quoted saying that he wouldn't be afraid of taking a stronger route. Best price 9/4 Paddy Power.

12:40 Sandown. GITANE DU BERLAIS is just about the pick against Polly Peachum in this Mares Hurdle. Gitane Du Berlais has been a beaten favourite on the last 4 runs and switches back to hurdles after a 2nd behind Emily Grey last time out at Carlise putting 30L to the 3rd. Heavy ground could be the key to her winning 3 times in testing ground. If Ruby can get a soft lead she could take some pegging back on a course she has won on before. best price this evening 5/2 with Coral and BetVictor

1.20 Cheltenham BLAKLION smart hurdler and going the right way over fences getting it right last time at Cheltenham. Dropping in trip today is not ideal but the ground could compensate. Nigel Twiston-Davies said that Blaklions target will be the RSA at the festival so a good run today should be expected
3.05 Cheltenham COLE HARDEN. Cole harden had a solid return to racing at Newbury last time against some good horses. He had a wind operation last year before winning the world hurdle. he has had another small operation over the summer and his trainer was pleased with that first run back, although Cole Harden would be better on a sound surface, a return to Cheltenham could be in his favour. Because both horses have niggling doubts about the ground a E/W double at 7/1 and 9/2 bet365 look good. Both horses must give a good account today if they are to be serious contenders come March

AR MAD Best Price 3/1 Bet365. Ar Mad run a great race last time at Sandown winning the Grade 1 Henry VIII Novices. He scooted clear and his rider got a all important breather into him before pulling away again to gallop on strongly .Ar Mad is better going Right Handed and this race will be surely his Cheltenham and a good run looks assured.

3:10 Kempton SMAD PLACE looks a good E/W bet at best price 8/1 bet365, william hill, boylesport, paddy power, ladbrokes, coral.. Cue Card is a interesting runner showing improved form this season after a trapped epiglottis operation and best price 9/2 looks about right. SMAD PLACE as also had the same operation and has found improvement this season. This is going to be a cracking event with plenty of horses having a chance. I think 8/1 smad place is a bit to big for what he achieved in the Hennessy, If smad place gets his rhythm and hits the front early he could burn a lot horses out . Best of Luck to everyone.

2.25 Ascot Thistlecrack best price now 9/4 bet365. Thistlecrack won nicely at Newbury last time and can come on again in this race. Only a 7yr old, surely his best days are ahead of him. Thistlecrack improved into a high-class horse last spring (winning grade 1 event at Aintree) when stepped up in trip. He won nicely at Newbury on his return and his trainer reported he would come on for the outing - quote ( He´ll improve massively on that - Newbury 28-11-15)

Re: BBOTD Monday 1st April 3:40 Fairyhouse MALLOWNEY should make his presence felt in this good race, progressive when landing a handicap and then rising to the challenge when winning a listed event last time out. He is thriving at present and with more improvement expected and also on favourable ground this could be his day. PYRUS GOLD WIND fell when booked for 2nd behind good horse mad brian. expected to take this on the evidence of his past runs he looks very skinny this morning at 2/1. Miranour looks better value around 11/2 this morning and can put the sword to pyrus. i was thinking about a RFC but these short favs in big hurdles swing either way. going to place this bet as MIRANOUR e/w at 5/1 Bet365 BOG this morning looking for a good run . Money back a place or nice pick up to carry it through.

Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season with only cue card winning out of selections on thursday and captain chris losing on friday this system now stands at - 0.22. Need something decent next meeting to show something. I can at least take stock at end of season and look through the season and see what changes can be made.

He did well to pick himself up and hold on for second and will now bid for ultimate compensation in the Gold Cup. Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season As it stands tonight with Sprinter Sacre winning the latest standings are 0.28. Bit better tomorrow with 2 races to concentrate on both with 2 horses that qualify 1:30 race Captain Conan and Third Intension. Next race is Cue Card and Ghizao. On these races I have also had a small RFC but they won't be included on the system. Just good prices and the temptation was to good.

Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season Payed price today for been to busy at Cheltenham time. Grandouet and rock on ruby did not actually qualify, but I put them down along with my cash. Thought rock on run well though and grandouet was travelling well when coming down. Took 7/1 on champagne last night and a SP of 5/1 lost a few more points on here again. Looking back as we stand it would look a lot more healthy taking a price on these, and if I get time to work on this things could look better. As things stand I make the latest standing at +0.03. I call it quits. Only 1 qualifier tomorrow and that's Sprinter Sacre. This means a quiet day tomorrow for this system. It will be included for purpose of system but I won't be digging deep on him.

Good luck to everyone on however you select your festival selections, hope there's some big winners and happy boys and girls.

9.05 Perth. CREEVYTENNANT 5/4 William hills Bet365. Run a good race last time at Ludlow, returning from a year off. This was a competitive hunter chase and the winner Full Throttle won next time at Cheltenham making this race solid form. He is 2/3 at Perth and has a good chance at the weights and won't mind a drop of rain. He looks sure to run well.
