  1. Racing Chat - Sunday Dec 10th

2:30 Huntingdon TOP NOTCH 10/11 now general Got to agree with Billy on this one. Racing Post Analysis from last run at Ascot 25th November They went a proper gallop in this Grade 2 chase and the winner proved a class apart. Straightforward form. TOP NOTCH took his form to a new level with a bloodless success. He tired when last of three at Aintree on his comeback over hurdles a fortnight earlier and that has evidently put him spot on for his return to chasing. There was a lot to like about his economical fencing and it takes his course record to 3-3. A return to the top table is now firmly on the cards for this likeable performer. The Ryanair at the Cheltenham festival is his big target and he was into a general 6-1 in ante-post lists for that.
  2. Racing Chat - Friday Dec 8th

2:30 Sandown ON THE BLIND SIDE 2/1 PP Willliam Hill Ladbrokes Coral 2/2 under rules and he has a bright future. He won nicely at Aintree over today's trip before stepping up again showing improvement to win going away in the end at Cheltenham. He looks bound for the Cheltenham Festival come march and this race looks like another stepping stone as he heads for the Albert Bartlett (A Intended Target)
  3. Racing Chat - Thursday Dec 7th

Chelmsford 7:30 GLEN COCO 3/1 PP Still on the up and this mile should suit after narrowly beaten last time at Kempton. won at Wolverhampton time before with this apprentice and no reason for thinking he should not push on.
  4. Racing Chat - Wednesday Dec 6th

Considered 2 bets last night and walked away. Morney Wing 11/2 now 7/2 everything in favour but the trip. Just think he might still be in 2nd gear at the finish. 1.10 lingfield next one Petite Jack 7/2 now 2s. No problem with horse it was more the ability of Toast of New York returning after retirement. Are you allowed 2 mistakes in 1 day because betting suggests I may have done lol.
  5. Racing chat Tuesday 5th december

1:40 Wolverhampton BATH AND TENNIS 9/2 Bet365 William Hill PP A chance taken here on the Sir Mark Prescott inmate. She has a double penalty to carry, but she is progressive and a good run should be on the cards. Sir Mark Prescott is in fine form coming into this race and Bath and Tennis has sound claims of a hat-trick bid.
  6. Racing Chat - Monday Dec 4th

When there’s a frost at Southwell they had Tractors on it all night with chains been pulled turning it over, this information was never published. I would ring course and ask some days. Dont know if it’s the same today. It made the track run deep.
  7. Racing Chat - Sunday Dec 3rd

Backed both Today Good Selections Lads. 1 winner but going into the afternoon both had massive shouts. Could never fault today.
  8. Racing Chat - Saturday Dec 2nd

2:20 Doncaster JUST MILLY 6/1 William Hill. Only win has come over C/D and been running well in better races. Not a lot of room for error at the weights, but a drop in grade and trip with Jamie Hamilton’s 3. This is a good opportunity

I guess we'll never know lol. Not this time anyway
  11. Racing Chat - Sunday Nov 26th

I wonder what Willie Mullins has in mind for Acapella Bourgeois 2:35 Navan. Sandra Hughes said that Ground is Key for him when winning here in Feb a Grade 2 contest by 32L QUOTES: The ground is a big key to him; he just goes on really testing ground and his jumping was superb. After that we will travel to Cheltenham for the RSA and if the ground came up soft he will take his chance - Sandra Hughes, trainer of Acapella Bourgeois. Ground was against Acapella Bourgeois at Cheltenham and Punchestown as was the fact he was in to deep a little. Today he steps back down in grade and first time foe Willie Mullins and Paul Townsend up who has a good record around here. He is in the Betting for the Gold Cup but could the Lexus be more to his liking on winter ground. Although no entry
  12. Racing Chat - Saturday 25th November

12:15 Lingfield BUMPTIOUS 12/1 PP She has improved greatly for the fitting of cheekpieces winning 3 of the last 6. She ran a bit disappointing in Listed level at Ascot the time before, but made no mistake at Wolverhampton 2 week ago. She is thought still to have improvement to hold her own in Listed class, and with winning a Class 2 Conditions race last time this drop to Class 3 should be within her Compass, She appeals better value than Gulliver best price 4/6 who's best trip is 6f (but has won here over 7).
  13. Racing Chat - Friday Nov 24th

6:30 Dundalk CLEAR SKIES 4/1 Coral PP Clear Skies has got a progressive profile now she has learned to settle a little. She missed her 3yr old campaign after a first good run behind Alice Springs. She won with a bit in hand last time and can now go on to better things. A good run looks assured tonight.
  14. Racing Chat - Thursday Nov 23rd
