  1. Re: BBOTD > Sunday 16th December 1.25 Navan DON COSSACK should be able to blow this field apart. The best bumper horse across both sides of the sea, he made a pleasing start to hurdles last time and has a lot of scope to rank high this season.Davy Russell has stuck with this boy over rule the world and that is a positive. best price this morning 8/11 bet 365, boylesport, paddy power

  2. Re: JUMPS RACING - SUNDAY 16th DECEMBER 3.25 Navan CHAMPAGNE JAMES is a good horse. a very promising individual i think he has more scope than union dues. Better than the winning margin last time out and proven in deep ground, He has the ability to improve further and come out on top in this event. Best price this Evening 13/8 boylesport

Don Cossack should be able to put RULE THE WORLD in his place here, another with a bright future and with that in mind this race as got a nice Opportunity for a F/C. with Don Cossack been Nap Material best price 8/11 victor and bet365 also value at forecast for Don Cossack to beat rule the world at a attractive price. Don cossack win bet and forecast 2 beat 3.:hope

  4. Re: JUMPS RACING - SUNDAY 16th DECEMBER 12:55 Navan WHATUTHINK cannot be a solid bet but if on song can be a tough nut to crack in this field. I can see Tom Doyle adopting simular tactics here and spread eagling them and play catch me if you can. at best price tonight 6/1 paddy power hes a good e/w bet of trying to hold out or money back at been caught. He should be able to make a bold bid tomorrow (sunday) with conditions to suit and with this deep ground he will be hard to peg back. but with this individual nothings plane sailing. small stakes e/w 1/4 odds 1,2

  5. Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season As with any system you can always get shut of any deadwood but then does it become a system as such. cant make changes as yet but my sole bet here was zarkander. perhaps if i continue to keep going next season. we can take a look at finding the good things and dropping the crap. +1.22 I make that and 3 meeting down dont know what i think really. probably better than a minus i suppose.

  6. Re: BBOTD - Saturday 15th Dec 2012 2:25 Fairyhouse APT APPROACH 6/4 skybet. running back over hurdles this afternoon he can gain a victory. He is not the strongest battler on the planet but is trainer is second to none at placing his horses. He was running in some good chases last season and back over hurdles and 1/1 at this course, he should win....?

  7. Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season Saturday 15th December. 12:10 FAR WEST best price on racing post 1/3. 1:20 OISAU DE NUIT 5/1 SHOOTERS WOOD 10/3 1:55 ACCORDING TO TREV 6/1 CONEYGREE 6/5. 3:05 GRANDOUET 11/4 ZARKANDER 5/4. 3:40 all three qualify OSCAR WHISKEY 2/11. BRAMPOUR 12/1 and CRACK AWAY JACK 15/2. Non runner and unseated Yesterday. Two odds on today that i wont be backing and of the others they can be question marks. i would say at this point Zarkander looks pick of the bunch. But this is the Army in the system and going Forward this is what i must stick with. Total Today + 0.75.

  8. Re: Flat Racing > Friday 14th December 6.00 Dundalk MISCHIEF N MAYHEM has the scope to come on top against opera gloves. both run well on there debuts to suggest that there is a race in them. opera gloves ran green that day and is more of a long term prospect so this race may come as a schooling session. at better value mischief n mayhem 3/1 bet365 this morning looks a more solid option.

  9. Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season International Meeting: Friday 14th December 1:55 MIDNIGHT CHASE is a course specialist and although reported to be fully tuned for the Charlie Hall at Wetherby last time could find improvement with that run under his belt. this front runner has 5 wins to his name at Cheltenham and could get a soft lead tomorrow. best price tonight 4/1 with hills, coral, boylesport, bluesquare and 888. 2.30 UNCLE JUNIOR another horse to enjoy this venue pulled away last time in one of these cross country events and having to carry weight tomorrow could take some beating. he is a class act in this game and at 3/1 bet365, bet victor and hills is surley the one to side with.

  10. Re: BBOTD Wednesday 12th December 6:30 dundalk WON DIAMOND has scope for improvement, running a bit green on his debut last time out he did finish his race quite strongly behind foundry. (potentially one of A P O'Brien,s better juveniles) This step up to mile should suit well and with Michael Halford in form won diamond is surely a leading contender. best price 7/2 was 4/1 earlier.

  12. Re: 1 WORD THAT SPERATES A PROFESSIONAL GAMBLER FROM A NORMAL GAMBLER PLEASE AND WHY? bet when a bet is called on. Nobody has to squeeze a winner out a day or go for a scatter gun approach. the more the search for a bet the blacker the fingers become. Trust me ive tried the lot (even Boys that make thousands every week) I can say the only way forward is disipline and control. more importantly be confident of your bet and be happy to the reason you had a bet. example, why when we go to races we have to have 20 on each race. Find what you are happy with and hit that bet with 40 - 60 - 80 ect and sit at bar with bets your not comfortable with.

  13. Re: Cheltenham 2012-13 season 6-10 Day Outlook Latest forecast models are suggesting that the cold weather may persist into Friday, before a series of Atlantic fronts approaching from the west into the weekend erode the cold block of air and introduce milder, windier and wet conditions with spells of heavy rain/showers and milder RSTs. In these situations, there is always the threat of a period of sleet/snow/freezing rain on the leading edge of the milder air. The current consensus is that the milder air will arrive quite quickly and that any snow threat this weekend will be fairly shortlived. However, the detail is still somewhat uncertain at this stage. Cheltenham International Meeting This Friday.

  14. Re: Jump Racing ~ Sunday 9th December 2.00 punchestown FLEMENSTAR best price 11/10 looks a solid bet this afternoon. His jumping is his main asset and can pull away at his fences, although this is a hard engagement for him. Peter Casey says Everything has been grand with him but he's meeting a better class of horse on Sunday, they are all Grade One winners. If he was in a handicap he'd be giving them weight, though. beating Big Zeb last time out by 7L on his seasonal debut was a good effort considering he had been beaten first time out for the last two seasons. His trainner was thrilled by this effort and said he was only 80% fit. Everything has gone to plan since and flemenstar will come on for that run. a fascinating race in store and if all goes well big plans should surely follow.

  15. Re: Jump Racing ~ Sunday 9th December 1.45 cork DAYS HOTEL as to prove is fitness but is the real deal over fences. he looked a natural last season and today could be the start of a exciting season for him. soft/heavy ground is reported to be important to him and with a grade 1 entry over christmas i recon things been going well at home. 5/1 when i started writing this he has gone 9/2 now 4/1.

  16. Re: Jump Racing ~ Saturday Dec 8th 1:20 navan BONISLAND ran last time in a grade 2 event running satisfactory and more improvement is on the cards. back down in grade but not in trip (looked to be getting tired after the last) this unexposed Gelding looks sure to go well this afternoon. He should be the value horse in the race with rule the world in the race. rule the world is expected to take all the beating and probably will putting his best foot forward but he needs to time and is more of a long term prospect. bonisland can take this event and go on to better things. At around 9/4 to me he looks the good thing this afternoon.

  17. Re: Flat Racing - Friday 7th of December 6:00 dundalk RAPID APPROACH. should go close in the European breeders fund maiden. Steadily improving all the time, his run last time out was a good effort behind levanto. He now qualifies for Nurseries and with sticking with this maiden tonight it could be a wise move. A poor draw and step back in trip is the concern but that should reflect in the market and give some value. With the camp in good order I recon rapid approach as a outstanding opportunity to score. 9/4 bet365 BOG this boy can drift with the above concerns.

  18. Re: Jumps Racing > Thursday 6th December 3.45 clonmel FAIRY COURT should win races over hurdles. He had a spin last time out on the flat and two days previously ran a little below par (got tired after going off to quick on fast ground) A step up in trip is expected to bring about more improvement and although he still has is work cut out against ballycasey this step up to 2.5m could be the answer. At around 5/1 - 6/1 a ew bet can be taken to watch fairy court in action.

  19. Re: Jumps Racing - Sunday 2nd December 3:10 Fairyhouse ACTION MASTER e/w 5/1 tonight with boylesport and 9/2 general. action master well handicapped over fences is not entirely straight forward, but capable on his day. his trainer said last time out winning at cheltenham he has found the key to him. running off the same mark as last time out, as dessie found a way through this horse. all horses have x amount of potential and certain trainers have a knack of bringing out the best in some horses. Dessies idea is to bring this individual on to the scene late in the day. at 5/1 - 9/2 e/w you can play dessies late game.

  20. Re: Jumps Racing - Sunday 2nd December 2:40 Fairyhouse RFC- MONKSLAND and VOLER LA VEDETTE. exciting hurdler monksland is unexposed and as more to give. although he needs to raise his game a little here voler la vedette needs to over come a disapointing run last time out. voler la vedette is expected to be a lot sharper this time around but could now also have something to prove. A good contest in store with zaidpour sure to be having a say, I think it should boil down to monksland and voler la vedette (spot on) been in the shake up.
