Elise Mertens to beat Caroline Wozniacki at 1.57 with Bet365
Wozniacki hasn't played on grass since 2019, and I don't think that she'll be able to deal with Mertens if the latter players at least like she did against Osaka in her previous match. Mertens has more than enough power for this match-up, and that should be the crucial factor.

Tereza Martincova to beat Moyuka Uchijima at 1.85 with Pinnacle
Martincova has now managed to get a couple of very credible results on grass, while there are still some question marks over Uchijima's skills on the surface, as she's never done anything noteworthy on it. Happy to back the Czech then.

Greetje Minnen (+4.5) to beat Ludmilla Samsonova at 1.78 with Unibet
There's no question who's the better player here, but Minnen can deliver on grass, and she actually has a surprising 3-0 record against Samsonova, 6-0 in sets, in fact. Given that, and the fact that Minnen can serve quite well, it's going to be another +4.5 games bet for me.

Francesca Jones (+4.5) to beat Ashlyn Krueger at 1.80 with Bet365
I like Jones on this line, Krueger is no world beater on grass, and Jones tends to play her heart out, which might even be enough on its own here honestly. She's skilled, too, moves well, maybe not on par with Krueger in terms of overall quality, but certainly not as bad as the odds suggest.

Karolina Pliskova to beat Heather Watson at 1.50 with Bet365
Pliskova is obviously far from the player she once was, but Watson is more of a part-time player nowadays, and her results are mediocre at best. Pliskova seems to be targeting this part of the season as well, so there should be at least some will to fight there too.

Can't see past Alcaraz tomorrow honestly, but the price is too short and I'm slightly afraid of his fitness.

Carlos Alcaraz (-1.5 sets) to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas at 1.50 with Unibet
The H2H says a lot about this match-up, and Tsitsipas hasn't been all that great so far in this event either, facing below-average opposition and yet losing sets and having some slight issues. Alcaraz basically blitzed Korda and FAA, and he'll want to make a statement after seeing Djokovic struggle yesterday.

Does anyone see any upsets today?

Looks fine to me, though I have no experience with betclic.

It was tight!

Marie Bouzkova (+7.5) to beat Iga Swiatek at 1.67 with Bet365
Bouzkova has always been a legit player, she's very talented, and she's been playing above her standard so far in this event, so this line looks too high to me honestly. Swiatek isn't going to lose, and she'll be focused after that near-loss with Osaka, but +7.5 is just madness imo.

The rain has been very annoying so far, lots of matches affected in ways that were hard to predict. I'll go through tomorrow's card to see if there's anything I like. Collins' loss will at least give her some time off for the other parts of the season, and she should have good chances on faster surfaces.

Jelena Ostapenko to beat Clara Tauson at 1.58 with Unibet
Ostapenko is now up and running again, and she should be able to find a way to beat Tauson, who's almost permanently injured and just not fit in terms of overall conditioning. Ostapenko can hit as big as her, and she can outlast her as well if the need to do so arises.

Nah, good place. Haha, I liked this - they were like goodbye Rafa, and he starts by saying that he might be back.

Sara Sorribes Tormo (-4.5) to beat Bianca Andreescu at 1.86 with Unibet
Andreescu hasn't played since Montreal last year, and the surface doesn't really play to her strengths here, so I'm not sure how much damage she will be able to do against SST, who's been very solid all year long, and who has all the fitness to out-last Andreescu as well. Unless Andreescu hits a purple patch here, she'll go down easily.
Yulia Putintseva to beat Sloane Stephens at 1.73 with Bet365
I really liked how Putintseva dismantled Stephens in Rome a couple of weeks ago, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of that here. Putintseva has improved a lot recently, and she's always pumped up for matches. Stephens just might not have the energy and will despite this being a GS match.

R1: Nadal - Zverev!

Aliaksandra Sasnovich to beat Zeynep Sonmez at 1.40 with Bet365
Sonmez has never achieved anything on the big stage, and Sasnovich has made huge improvements since her lacklustre start to the season. She looked very fine in Rome and, on that basis, I think she has every chance to even qualify for the main draw this week.

Amelia Rajecki (+5.5) to beat Diana Shnaider at 1.66 with Unibet
Rajecki seems to be an exciting UK prospect, as she produced two massive upsets in the qualifiers here against Volynets and Yafan Wang. Shnaider is middling on grass, and she tends not to be focused when a big favorite, so the handicap line looks like a must-bet to me here.
