erny86 reacted to allyhibs in L1, L2 & Scottish Predictions > Nov 28th - Dec 3rd
For the 3rd week in a row the bookies are overestimating a very limited Hearts side ( i'm repeating myself every week but they are a very poor side ). To have them odds on favourites against anyone in this league is just wrong. Hamilton have shown a few times this season they can get results away from home and at these odds it's well worth backing an away win. Hamilton at 5.00 is worth a couple of quid. Odds against for them not losing is just madness. Hamilton +1 at 2.20 is an early Christmas present.

So obviously the price has long gone on Eastbourne and hopefully the can do the business although it will be the most depressing winning bet I will have ever placed. It would be typical of my club though if we go and get some sort of result. I think as things stand Eastbourne are no longer value, but with all that has gone on at Gloucester this week they will see this as a great chance to pick up a much needed 3 points.
I was considering a handful of sides in the National League, but in the end have left it alone and I only have one other bet.
Burgess Hill v Margate
The away side are now unbeaten in 6 league games and have won their last 4. They seem to have really found their form of late and I think odds against is a big price to beat a struggling Burgess Hill. They have only picked up 1 point in their last 4 games and have conceded 15 goals in the process.
Margate 2.5pts @ 101/100 with Marathon

Jack Sock to beat Marin Cilic at 2.20 with BetVictor
I don't see a reason for having Cilic as the favourite here, it's a 50/50 match at best imo. Firstly, Sock leads the H2H record 2-0, so he's not going to fear this match-up. Secondly, I think that he was actually the better player of the two on Sunday, especially when it came to critical moments.

Grigor Dimitrov (-2.5) to beat Dominic Thiem at 1.83 with BoyleSports
Honestly, Thiem has been dreadful since the end of the clay court season. On top of that, he's also had some injury worries recently, so he might not even be 100% going into the tournament. Dimitrov, on the other hand, has been relatively good recently - and he does have a chance to make it out of the group with everyone else having some worries. With the London courts usually helping aggressive players, this match should be fully on Dimitrov's racquet.

Y.Maden/P.Gojowczyk - Over 19.5 games at 1.72 with Bet365
No respect for Maden here by the looks of things, but I think this could easily turn into a hard-fought contest. Gojowczyk is the obvious favourite, but Maden has beaten two very strong opponents (De Minaur and Bublik) here already, so he isn't going to give up all that quickly imo.

I can only hope that the NextGen format isn't going to take over . That's what I'll be wishing for anyway - for the rest of the year, there's only next week to look forward to I guess, it will be Federer against the rest by the looks of things. He played a nice exhibition match against Murray on Tuesday, definitely the big fav. I wonder what 2018 is going to be like though - perhaps a big upset in one of the Grand Slams?

Marianna Zakarlyuk to beat Jessica Moore at 2.10 with Ladbrokes
Jessica Moore has been so dreadful lately that she probably doesn't deserve to be a favourite against anyone. And, well, she'll be facing a somewhat promising player in this one, as Zakarlyuk has done fairly well lately. Not only has she qualified for this event by winning three matches in a row, but she's also managed to beat and trouble some decent players before that (Konig, Hon, Patterson, Inglis). It's the end of the season, but it's clear that Zakarlyuk still wants to do something about her rating and status. Meanwhile, Moore's motivation is probably just non-existent at this point. At 2.10, I'll side with talent & form here.

I am having a great year in terms of tennis betting so farand you guys are the main reason for that. The AO started awfully with 1 out of 6, but after that I had one of my best runs ever with 12/13. ROI this year is 13,89%. Normally I have more profit when betting on the womens, but this year my ROI on women's tennis is negative and I am doing really fine on men's tennis and that is, I think, because everyone can beat each other nowadays. Despite of this, football betting is not going well so far
Mladenovic @3,49
Two players who have a fantastic year so far, but I don't get why a player (Mladenovic) who has a 14-4 record so far can be such an underdog, despite the H2H.
