  1. I guess this thread does prove it's point ......... it's not meant to appeal to racing fans, it's meant to bring in people who are not interested in racing by giving them teams to support and points and league tables ............ things that are pretty meaningless to racing fans

Racing of course already has teams ....... they're called 'racing yards' and they have league tables of horses, jockeys and trainers, but to be honest I don't think a lots of racing fans spend much time poring over tables of leading jockeys, trainers or horses

  2. 1.30 MR - October Storm - win at 11/2 bog bet365

    Two mile maiden hurdle

Bit of a tentative selection because he hasn't won since 2017 and hasn't run for 18 months

However he was decent on the flat having won a Class 3 handicap at York and he usually ran well after a break ..... 3 wins and two close up places

Yard in terrific form with 6 wins from last 21 runs so every chance the horse will be in good order

It's a maiden race so he's up against non-winners. A couple of them have some placed form in maiden races but I tend to think that if horses are any good they're going to win a maiden in their first couple of tries unless they're running at the top tracks

If he's ready to run after a break he could just be better than these
