Nicky Henderson has tweeted this morning that Altior is lame .......... must put his participation in the Champion Chase into doubt

Trying to stick to the AW at the moment but I'm not keen on those races at Southwell .............Lady Jockeys only and big weights so Amateurs can ride
Still, I've had a look at the 2.20 and fancy Big Time Maybe at 10/3 bet365 - usually runs in better races that the other horses and has been getting closer to winning in each of his recent runs. CD winner, a pound lower than when winning over this CD last year. Was beaten under 2L last time despite rearing leaving the stalls.
Current favourite is Final Legacy who won over CD 3 starts ago but it was a very poor race and she's been beaten in two subsequent very poor races. Plus she's a filly so not sure 'Amateur rider weights' wil suit her against geldings. Happy to take her on.
None of the others make much appeal.

Many thanks. £863 growth from zero looks to be very good. I saw the balance exceeding £1,300 at some point. This winter has not been good to me either; let's hope that all picks up from here on in and that the Cheltenham Festival goes ahead
let's hope so !
To be fair though I never have any winners at Cheltenham ...... ?

Nothing stopping you now. Well done again. May I ask what your original bank was?
Cheers
My original bank was 'zero'
I had a really good year in 2018 into 2019 (won the monthly Nap of the Day four times in nine months and put many of the same selections in here)
Been up and down since
On the slide for the last couple of months so could do with a few wins to start moving up again

Crimson King. If you swap the words round you’ve got yourself a decent band.
I bought 'In The Court Of The Crimson King' back in about 1970 ...... one of my first LPs

I’ve never kept track of my bets. It’s been one of them where I hadn’t a clue when I first started but then you start to learn bit by bit. I’m at a point now where I love horse racing and I’d say it’s now overtaken football as my main thing. I’ve fell out of love with footy purely because of the money and its just a load of crap now. Anyway once the flat season properly starts in may time I’m going to start keeping track of things. How does this points system work in gambling? Do you put your own value on a point?
yes, put your own value on a point
A point to you might be £1 or £5 or £20
The purpose of posting 'points' instead of an amount of cash is that it's a bit divisive if somebody is posting £500 bets and others can only afford a couple of quid ......... so 'points' hides the amounts people are betting
ps .... it doesn't matter on this thread because it's a fun thread with a notional £20 a day to try out bets, systems, whatever
