Very well done my friend, one man's loss is another man's gain eh. Good to know, hope you give those bookies a good kicking today. -

Thank you for your post Wildgarden, it is appreciated. Only sorry Cobden was not at his best I feel on Fasol (2nd) thought he was a bit too patient waiting until the bird had flown (King William Rufus, good sensible ride by Freddie Gordon/ decent claimer). -

Good morning all. Excellent day yesterday with two winners at 7/2 and 7/1 with also an each way place 13/2 (Bet 365 were 4 places with Pachacuti 4th) and a reverse forecast nicely landed. Think today very difficult as both Uttoxeter and Ascot are set for further rain but how much by the time your horse runs is pretty much just guesswork. These are my selections which probably only merit a small trixie: Uttoxeter 1.30 FLASH IN THE PARK @ 6/4 (general) Ascot 2.30 FASOL @ 7/2 (general) Ascot 3.40 WINDBENEATHMYWINGS @ 7/2 (general) (Exotic rev f.cst with Swingin Safari.) POSSIBLE OUTSIDE BET. Have to say 3.40 Ascot is hell of a bumper to close the card and should rain really get into the ground then Swingin Safari may be each way value at general 18/1. On my long shortlist too if ground stayed good to soft were It's Top and most definitely Freshperspective. Wow, what a race! Quickly would mention Ascot 1.55 where the classy Iberico Lord has to give weight away to the very interesting Ryan's Rocket and outsider Here Comes Georgie. The latter will be interesting to watch as Impero (20/1, ante post for tomorrow) beat it 20 lengths in it's only defeat in it's last four runs. Sorry write up so long today, just left to say. Good luck all, happy punting. -

Morning all. Obviously really pleased with yesterday's three from three effort (winners at 6/4, 5/2 and 13/2) so have decided it's extra poppadoms time with this Friday's ruby murray. LOL. Joking aside, win or lose any day we just go again so these are my selections for today with brief additional summary: Exeter 1.55 PACHACUTI e/w @ 13/2 (B365) 4 places Ffos Las 2.07 THE SCORPION KING @ 7/2 (general) (rev. f/cst with Haut Folin) Exeter 3.05 IMPERIAL JOE e/w @ 7/1 (general) 5 places SUMMARY: Pachacuti in off joint bottom weight may go well, The Scorpion King narrowly over Haut Folin (pulled up 8 times in 21 runs, including last two on heavy ground) who is respected. Imperial Joe though taking on younger horses and inexperienced amateur jock on board looks on a decent enough mark to me and one of young amateur's two wins came on this horse. Have made updates on ANTE POST SELECTIONS page where Olly Murphy has done me no favours for the weekend. Cheers Olly. Good luck to all today. Give those bookies hell! -

Thank you Systemight for your kind words. End of the day horse race tipping is all just opinion isn't it and we all have our days in the sun at some point. I do appreciate your praise though, thanks again. -

Top of the morning to everyone. A 9/1 winner yesterday was nice and so on to today. Again a day where I would rather play than have no interest in the action at all. Here are mine for today with a small play trixie: Newbury 2.25 JAVERT ALLEN @ 6/4 (general) Ludlow 2.35 FAMOSO @ 5/2 (WH/Skybet) Lingfield 2.47 JOLIE BAIE e/w @ 13/2 (B365/WH) 3 places Not selections but will be interested in the efforts of Balkardy (Ludlow 12.50) back to fences after a very poor run over the smaller obstacles last time out. And Wrappedupinmay (Newbury 1.15) who I did consider as a selection but the combination of a long lay off (322 days but has won fresh after 252) and a first try at fences was enough to put me off. Interesting though especially as trained by Paul Nicholls so may well be ready to do itself justice. Very quickly, added another bullet to my ANTE POST SELECTIONS if anyone interested in taking a peek. Good luck to whoever plays today and whatever you play. -
One more to add to this weekend's ante-post ITV Racing portfolio: (Tommy Whittle Handicap Chase) (Saturday 21st December) EAST STREET e/w @ 6/1 (Will Hill) 3 places. That price might look fairly good if it makes final declarations on Thursday. UPDATE. East Street has been declared for final field and Bet365 have put it up early doors as 11/4 favourite, we might have a bit of value there on the ante post 6/1 with William Hill.

Good morning to everyone. Poor efforts by Southwell runners yesterday and Cagnes Sur Mer not much better but did get some each way booty back off 16/1 Kathleen (advised as outside bet) who found one too good in the last. Anyway, as ever we go again so here are mine today with a brief summary as to what I think their chances really are: Catterick 12.30 BE THE DIFFERENCE e/w @ 9/1 (B3/WH) 3 places Wincanton 3.15 AMERICAN LAND @ 15/8 (general) Wincanton 3.45 ASK HER OUT e/w @ 14/1 (B365) 4 places Summary: Be The Difference - outside chance only with inexperienced amateur on board (1 win from 9 rides). Front two in market with much more experienced jockey bookings. American Land - obviously solid chance. Ask Her Out _ surprised this one quite so big in betting, 2 lengths to find with Sweet C but unlike the afore mentioned will handle cut in the ground and should see out trip well enough. Have also posted three selections from Pau if anyone interested and may well add to my ANTE POST SELECTIONS for the big weekend ITV Racing once I have looked at the provisional alloted weights later today. Best of luck everyone. Be lucky. -
After hitting the post yesterday with OUTSIDE BET shot Kathleen at 16/1, we go again. Three selections from today's racing from Pau: Tuesday 17 December 11.35 MISHKA DES MOTTES @ 7/2 12.55 KIM ROQUE @ 3/1 3.15 POULORIUS @ 5/1 (outside rev. f/cst with I Risk if your feeling adventurous) Bon Luck everyone.

Morning all. Plumpton and Naas easily passed over for me today but am interested in the fayre at Southwell. These are my selections: 11.52 MYSTYMAL @ 2/1 (general) 12.22 WILLIAM CODY e/w @ 10/1 (general) (rev. f/cst with Eaton Collina) 3 places 3.22 PRINCE DE JUILLEY @ 7/2 (general) (rev. f/cst with Magical Arthur) Quick analysis think Mystymal will be hard to beat. See No Risk Des Flos strong in market but would have outside shot at William Cody (up in grade/huntingdon specialist) and Eaton Collina (should shape better for latest comeback run) in 12.22. Last race (3.22) looks a cracker to me between Prince De Juilley and Magical Arthur and would not be surprised to see either come out on top. Have also put up a couple of selections in French Racing??? topic if anyone interested. Happy punting my friends. -
MONDAY 16 DECEMBER A couple of selections for Cagnes-Sur-Mer today: 12.10 A NOUS TOUS e/w @ 6/1 (B365/BOG) 3 places 2.05 ANGE L'HERMITAGE e/w @ 7/1 (B365/BOG) 3 places *OUTSIDE BET* Just wanted to mention Kathleen (3.15) as did not feel was strong enough to put up as a main selection but may be worth noting. The closing handicap hurdle does not look the strongest of races and should ground cut up by the end of meet it's both wins on heavy maybe a plus more than a negative. Currently 16/1 with 4 places on offer may offer some small value.

Good day again yesterday with a 12/1 winner and an 8/1 dead-heated. Disappointed with poor efforts from Similar Story and Molto Bene which made the difference to a three figure return rather than a four figure return but hey-ho their not machines are they. Not confident on today's picks but better some interest than no interest so here are mine for today: Navan 12.35 ROXHILL ROISE e/w @ 6/1 (general) 5 places Navan 1.20 ROBYNDEGLORY e/w @ 20/1 (Unibet) 5 places Carlisle 2.07 FEIVEL e/w @ 12/1 (general) 3 places Navan 2.55 PIPERS BOREEN e/w @ 6/1 (B365) 4 places No nap for me today, best of luck to all that play. -
Thank you to Lee-Grays for heads up. Will post any future selections on original topic - French Racing ???
-
Thank you my friend and apologies for oversight. As you see new to the forum and lazily did'nt look to see this subject had already been brought up so feel bit silly but we live and learn eh. Will post any of my jumps selections on this thread in future. Once again, thanks.
-
Fully appreciate no interest in this topic currently but as have had some success with my French jumpers in the past (including forecasts) have decided to put my selections up on here in case anybody wishes to check them out. A couple to start with today from Pau: 11.28 JUST BEGINNING e/w @ 12/1 (B365) 3 places 2.32 GENERAL DESJY e/w @ 8/1 (B365/general) 3 places Best stick with Bet365 who are BOG on French racing after 8 a.m on day of race.

(LADBROKES HANDICAP HURDLE) (Saturday 21st December) ALNILAM @ 20/1 (generally) IMPERO @ 20/1 (generally) Both need horses to drop out but they are the ones I would like onside at present and have added to next week's big race ante-post portfolio (cautious small stakes). Along with above be interesting to see if any are still left standing come final declarations time. Latest declaration stage, 15 entered. Both ALNILAM and IMPERO have stood their ground which would be interesting come Thursday should both survive the final declaration stage. Again, if running more than likely Olly Murphy may rely on Sean Bowen on top of Alnilam. Fingers crossed one of them/or both runs next Saturday. We will see. UPDATE. Well Olly Murphy has done me no favours at all deciding to run Go Dante with Bowen on and leaving out Alnilam! At least we have a live one with Irish raider IMPERO @ 20/1 who barring mishaps will take his chance on Saturday.
-
(HOWDEN SILVER CUP HANDICAP CHASE) (Saturday 21st December) DOCTOR KEN e/w @ 14/1 (Skybet) 4 places Early ante post fancy that hopefully will line up, but will also be interested to see if Snipe sneaks into final field come race day and if so would rate a danger to above selection. SNIPE e/w @ 16/1 (Skybet) 4 places May not get in or run, but too big not too include just in case. Latest declaration stage, 12 entered. Snipe won't run but DOCTOR KEN has stood his ground. Olly Murphy originally had two in but am hoping he will now rely on DK with possible JB of Sean Bowen. Will find out Thursday. UPDATE ! Unfortunately no joy with Doctor Ken either which is very disappointing as Sean Bowen was originally provisionally jocked up to ride. Will do further review on Saturday and let you know if anything catches my eye.

Good day yesterday with a 25/1 winner and same race reverse forecast landed so more than likely downhill today after that. Main selections again from Cheltenham with another great day of racing: 12.10 QUANTOCK HILLS e/w @ 8/1 (WH) 3 places 1.13 SIMILAR STORY e/w @ 12/1 (general) (rev. f/cst with Regal Renaissance) 4 places 1.50 GEMIRANDE e/w @ 12/1 (WH) (rev. f/cst with Le Patron) 3 places 3.35 MOLTO BENE e/w @ 11/1 (general) (rev. f/cst with Georgi Girl) 4 places Paticularly interested in Similar Story and Molto Bene who may be on decent marks in their respective contests. Will cover their respective reverse forecast fancies in small singles as see them as biggest dangers to main selections. Good luck all, be lucky. -

Frustrating to hit the bar twice yesterday but as ever we go again. Main selections have to be from Cheltenham with current best odds shown: 1.15 CAVERN CLUB e/w @14/1 (general) (rev. f/cst with Wreckless Eric) 4 places 2.25 NUMITOR e/w @ 25/1 (B365) (rev. f/cst with Copperhead) 4 places 3.00 THREE BY TWO e/w @ 16/1 (B365/WH) 5 places 3.35 HIGH GAME ROYAL e/w @ 28/1 (general) 3 places - lucky15 with e/w cover. Really interested in Three By Two who ran well behind Stumptown on last run and has ran well over long trip before at Punchestown. Slight pull at weights for around 2 lengths and like JB of Sam Twist. Also have small patent at Doncaster with these: 1.25 WAR SOLDIER e/w @ 9/1 (WH) (rev. f/cst with Coniston George) 1.57 PEARLY ISLAND @ 4/1 2.32 FAERIE CUTLASS @ 4/1 (B365) Best of luck all. -

Tidy jumps action today, mostly at Taunton for me so three main selections but again how loose ground will be could make a difference. Taunton 12.35 GETMETOTHEMOON 10/1 (ew) slight ground worry Taunton 2.05 LANGLEY HUNDRED 11/1 (ew) Taunton 2.40 WILFUL 6/1 (ew) and small trixie play. Also looking forward to 1.55 at Warwick where You Wear It Well has already won according to the market this morning. Will be having small each way plays on both SMILING GETAWAY (18/1/B365) and ILOVETHENIGHTLIFE (20/1/general) with 3 places up for grabs and also a cheeky reverse forecast on both just in case You Wear It Well has an unexpected off day.
