KID DU MAFFRAY drifting like a barge, now 10/1 with Bet365. NOT a good sign.
-
What a race that third race, well done Darran with Tom Foolery. Great tip.

Hello all. After the burning the late night oil as sometimes I will do have one selection to recommend over the jumps in France later today, the price may be better after 8 a.m. with BOG also coming into play with Bet365: (Friday 28 March) Bordeaux Le Bouscat 11.02 KID DU MAFFRAY e/w @ 9/1 (bet365) 3 places (rev. f/cst with Kandalius pays 68/1 and 62/1 respectively with Bet365 / optional very small single cover on Kandalius if you wish). Kid Du Maffray is up in class, but remains on a decent mark on his last time out victory and retains the partnership with Adrien Blais (a 4kg claimer who has won on him the last twice). Kandalius ran well enough over the trip last time out to be considered as possible outside reverse forecast material.

Just wanted to say tremendous analysis of this Australian jump racing Darran, a great read for someone like me who loves his jump racing no matter where it comes from. Know nothing about this country's jumps racing but your article has actually stoked my interest tonight in Race 3 at Warrnambool, and interested to see how DUKE OF BEDFORD goes at 9/5. Certainly hope one of your selections win that race though as will only be watching for interest purposes only. Great article mate, look forward to you posting more further down the line.

No excuses for the poor runs from all the Thursday selections which were just nowhere near good enough on the day and so on we go. Posting up early as probably going out Friday, so to save time will put up the two jump selections now that I will be playing for my "sticks" interest with brief summaries: Wetherby 3.00 HAREL DU MARAIS @ 13/8 Fontwell 3.45 ZESTFUL HOPE e/w @ 8/1 (bet365) 4 places * win double on both pays just over 22/1 with Bet365. Summary: 3.00 Looks possible match race with Hold Onto The Line, but this looks another good chance for Sean Bowen to register another winning ride. 3.45 TRICKY race indeed and selection may well be much better price on race day in which I will top up a few more quid on the win single bet. Best of luck everyone else with your bets. * Sole French selection up for anyone who wants a look.

RACING CHAT Thursday 27 March

No worries m8, will always stick with my selections once made. As I've said before on the forum I am a big fan of the people who use ratings systems for their selections as has to be pretty time consuming, but yours and other people's results at times speak for themselves. Brilliant. Keep up the good work buddy. -

Fair enough Robski me m8, agree with you that Peejay is on a tremendous handicap mark and could romp home. As pulled up latest though would like to see how fit he is today and will chance Bally C certainly from an each way point of view even though he is up in class on his latest effort. Do like Sam Twist on board as well. -
Warwick 4.32 BALLYCAMUS @ 11/1 (hills) Thank you.

Surprised to see BALLYCAMUS on such a major drift and now generally outsider of the lot. Market says NO, but I'll still top up a win on it anyway. -

Only a small play on the flat in the William Hill Lincoln on Saturday for me. Have just put up my 50/1 each way fancy for the race in ANTE POST SELECTIONS if anybody wants a look. -
(William Hill Lincoln Handicap) (Saturday 29 March) Only a small tickle for me with flat not really being my bag but will be having a small go at this and the Spring Mile on Saturday. This will be my play for the lottery Lincoln: Doncaster 3.35 DASHING DARCEY e/w @ 50/1 (hills) 6 places Simple reasoning of don't think it is on a bad handicap mark, will handle the ground, stays the trip and has run well after a 121 day break before (only beaten a neck when re-appearing) so has gone well fresh. Only a 4 year old so may well have more improvement in him to come, the draw is always a mystery a lot of the time so not concerned about that. Other firms priced up at moment going top price 33/1 with generally 25's being offered so this horse will either drop in price, or all the others will fall in line with William Hill and could end up even bigger in which case I would be tempted to top up some more. * Have just seen Bet365 and Paddy Power also 50/1 so this could end up bigger again.

Morning all. Four selections over the jumps for me today with brief summaries: Southwell 2.35 MARTALMIX'JAC e/w @ 6/1 (bet365) 3 places ** NON RUNNER ** Clonmel 2.42 BALLYBRITTAS @ 11/8 Clonmel 3.42 MACIVER e/w @ 15/2 (888 sport) 4 places (very small rev. f/cst with Bite That) Warwick 4.32 BALLYCAMUS e/w @ 7/1 (bet365) 2 places Summary: 2.35 Good effort latest and entitled to go close again if repeating that. 2.42 Great opportunity to open account over fences with useful 5lb claimer aiding cause. 3.42 VERY competitive race with lots of potential winners, Bite That is on a nice mark BUT has stamina to prove. Selection on a roll at moment with same pilot aboard. 4.32 Could be great each way play at a fair price early this morning. Best of luck with your bets today everyone.

A very good morning to all. An each way placed 7/1 yesterday with two seconds from two jumps selections meant another day of frustration for me, even more so when both jockeys did not exactly help their charges. Conor O'Farrell simply give That One too much to do at the end, and Brian Hughes dropped his whip on Halpha Soleil with both horses beaten a length or just under. The sole synthetic flat selection never looked like winning, but as the French jumps racing that is just mainly a side fun venture which when winning on is a great bonus. Need to try and up my game now with the big Aintree Festival coming up (40/1 ante post shot has been put up for the National), and at the end of next month the Punchestown May Festival which last year was an absolute cracker for me (not on the forum then though). Two jump meetings in the UK today and would advise everyone to keep their money in the wallet/purse for today as they offer no value IMHO. Also steering clear of any flat now until the weekend where will have to play some small interest on the start of the turf at Doncaster, where there should be some juicy prices available on both the Saturday (Lincoln Day) and the Sunday. As ever though jumps (especially when the racing is good) will remain my PRIORITY. Have already seen at least one for tomorrow and I think for now WINNERS will be more important than generally PRICES, there are some days with the jumps when you have no choice BUT to play shorter prices than you would want. As long as you still think the price represents value for that particular horse. -

Probably B.O. Just as frustrating was That One with Conor O'Farrell giving the horse to much to do IMHO. Still, that's horse racing. -

Surprised Halpha Soleil got beat (2nd again). Might be worth covering forecast Justa if you like Eva Rosie, closely matched with Violeta. -

We'll know the score just after 5.15 Justa. Was quite sweet on it until I saw the step up from classified company, fairly high stall draw too. Still, could stroll in so makes that 5.15 interesting to me. -

Right old gamble going on with Violeta. I considered it at 16/1 with Hills, now 6/1 best price. Does somebody know something? -

Only one play tonight for me at Newcastle on the tapeta: Newcastle 6.45 CONCERT BOY e/w @ 17/2 (hills/ladbrokes) (rev, f/cst with Just Typical) Hope CB can reverse the form with JT with it's small weight pull. * VIOLETA (5.15) and HENRY HAWK (7.45) also interested me but are not selections as they are stepping up from classified stakes company so will just watch them with interest tonight. -

Morning all. No doubt about it, may have to broaden my horizons again come the turf Flat season as it is so difficult to find price value a lot of the time on the jumps. These will be my plays today over the sticks with brief summarising: Hexham 4.20 THAT ONE e/w @ 7/1 (generally) 3 places (rev. f/cst with Rewired and those two reversed with V Twelve in 2 x tri-casts) Hexham 4.50 HALPHA SOLEIL @ 9/4 (hills) (straight forwcasts with Grand Voyage and Divas Doyen) * THAT ONE and HALPHA SOLEIL in a win double Summary: 4.20 Do think V Twelve though weighted to win may be able to be "got at" in this and the selection was plucky in victory last time out also overcoming a bit of adversity. if VT fails to fire then Rewired comes bang into the mix. 4.50 Not a big stakes player but if I was this would tempt me, should comfortably reverse form with Divas Doyen. Grand Voyage is a possible player but selection looks strong to me. Good luck all. -
Morning all. My French fancies for today, sorry Lee agree with you on Dapango: Saint Cloud 12.55 DAPANGO e/w @ 11/1 (b365) 5 places Saint Cloud 4.25 WHATAHERO e/w @ 15/2 (b365) 4 places Saint Cloud 4.25 BOAVISTA e/w @ 12/1 (hills) 3 places Saint Cloud 5.00 SIMONS KING @ 10/1 e/w @ 10/1 (b365) 4 places Bon luck, anyone who plays.

Pity mine was a non runner Mc. Otherwise I would have had the loser of it as well. Lol. Interesting point made by Calva regarding a PL ITV7 league. There is only one man I know could take that on, but he's already super human with the amount of work he does on the punters lounge.
