After the latest ban and point deduction for Juventus, it is clear that the Bianconeri won’t finish this season in the top-four zone. Although it was a turbulent season for La Dea, the away side got into the position to fight for a place in the Champions League. The numbers tell their own story, and Atalanta has been scored against in 6 of their last six matches, conceding eight goals in all. In defense, Atalanta has seen their frailties exposed. It’s a must-win game for Atalanta to stay in the top-four race. Atalanta has a lengthy injury list, and Gasperini is likely to give some players the rest of the campaign off to recover properly. Duvan Zapata, Jeremie Boga, and Jose Luis Palomino are all out this weekend, with Hans Hateboer’s season also already over.
