Captain Tom Cat will be all the buzz here after winning his last 3 by big distances. He’s gone right up in the weights for that which may leave him vulnerable, but he’s obviously very classy . That’s A Given seems to travel well and wind surgery seems to have helped him. Watched a couple of his races back last night and I’d expect him to travel well throughout the race and try and land a blow near the end. He’s ran over further before so he’s got the stamina for this and this shorter distance won’t be a problem. Nice price too.

He finished 2 lengths behind the winner and it says he got hampered final 110 yards. Might pay to watch a replay of that race, if you haven’t already that is. First run back as you say, so maybe needed it. I’ve just rated it. Don’t bother with these kind of races usually as not much to go on and there’s plenty who can find massive improvement as they are only 3 year olds .

Football isn’t football anymore mate. This super league has been on the agenda for years . The premier league is an absolute joke as well and I hate us being part of it, but for the future of the club though it’s where they need to be and and hate that, too. I’ve completely turned my back on the game now. I’ve been a villa season ticket holder for years, but I’m done . This ain’t the game I fell in love with . People go on about the dark days of football back in the 70s/80s. Give me that any day of the week compared to this diluted money grabbing thing we call football now .

As youd expect ...very very competitive ...but some nice prices in there...van gogh is 16/1!!!....that would be a nice winner !!...but st Mark's...van gogh and Wembley are all o Brien....I doubt he will run all 3 ??

I agree. I supported Wednesday home and away for many years in the 70s, 80s and 90s, in those days probably half the team were born in Sheffield, these days you are lucky if they were born in the UK. 
Football sold out years ago when the premier league was formed, apart from the top 6 you have no chance (I think Leicester was an exception). Premiership survival is the ambition of most teams.
I would be happy to get rid of the top 6, then the rest would have something to play for. Ok there would be less money flying around but perhaps we can start paying players £500k a year instead of £500k a week.

I've ended up just backing Dapper after all of that ?
Midgley horses tend to come into their own in May so hopefully they're still out for a few prep runs. 
It does all point to Dapper so hopefully he can win for us. 

A regular race has suddenly become most interesting....roll on 210??...on paper this is a much weaker race for dapper man.....so maybe that's what they do ....find a,weak race for that 3rd run so hes really well in 

Debawtry(3rd rated) has recently beat bunnian by a nose , but is slightly worse off at the weights this time around , but 11/1 is a good price I reckon .
