A few odds standing out for me.
Man City v Man Utd
BTTS @ 1.85 (Coral). Massive odds when you consider City have now went 8 games without a clean sheet. As poor as Utd have been they haven't lost to any top team yet. I don't see any reason for them not to get a goal at the Etihad. 
Watford v Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace To Win Draw No Bet @ 2.25 (Unibet) or 2.20 (pretty much everywhere else). For me you will struggle to find a better bet at the weekend. Watford have 1 win to their name this season and that was against Norwich. They've been beaten comfortably by weaker sides than Palace and Palace have only really dropped points against top teams this year (Leicester, Liverpool, Man City). Anytime they play teams of the same calbire they always seem to come out on top. If they don't come away with all 3 points they'll be kicking themselves here but I highly doubt they'll leave with nothing.

@Sterphyle offering of Frankfurt Win & BTTS @ 3.10 is a tempting one and one that I think should come to fruition. However as I am not quite as bold I am going to stick my trusty over 2.5 goals in the match.@ 1.60.
 

Some excellent predictions on here over the last few days.
I like @betcatalog BTTS on Arsenal v Brighton @ 1.55 and if the stats are anything to by this should be a shoe-in. Fingers crossed. However my prediction in the game is 0ver 2.5 @ 1.55 - mainly cause that's my bag (which you can follow over at the Glory Hunters forum). The average total goals scored at the Emirates this season is 3.29. Both teams will arguably fancy taking all 3 points in this one and rightly so. Brighton didn't fair too badly against Liverpool, Man Utd or a high flying Leicester side having previously brushed aside Norwich and Everton. I see a high scoring and hopefully entertaining game - with a 2-2 or a 3-2 win for either side.

@Sterphyle offering of Frankfurt Win & BTTS @ 3.10 is a tempting one and one that I think should come to fruition. However as I am not quite as bold I am going to stick my trusty over 2.5 goals in the match.@ 1.60.

Frankfurt have lost three of their last Bundesliga matches, they will look to bounce back to winning ways on Friday night. Playing at home Frankfurt have been at their best, they have won Four matches including a 5-1 win against the champions Bayern Munich. Hertha Berlin dropped down to the relegation zone after a defeat to Dortmund making it Five consecutive defeats. Impressively Hertha have scored in four of their last five visit to Frankfurt so i expect both teams to score on friday Night.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Bayern Munich
The Bundesliga gives us one of the biggest games in Europe this weekend when league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach host reigning champions Bayern Munich in a 2:30pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon from Borussia-Park. Could we be seeing the start of a shift in power in the top flight of German football? Whoever wins this game will surely feel that the impetus will be with them heading into the new year.
Borussia Monchengladbach have been one of the surprise packages of European football. Manager Marco Rose has led his team to the summit of the league table. It's been the perfect remedy after the club missed out on the Champions League last season. Goals coming from all over the pitch have been key in a side that has scored an average of more than 2 goals per game. The club are only 1 point ahead of 2nd placed RB Leipzig so it's a tightly contested league this season but Borussia's ability to turn those draws into wins has been crucial. Their response to the shock 2-0 loss to Union Berlin by beating Freiburg 4-2 showed a lot about the team's character too.
Bayern Munich are in an unusual position of disarray this season. Former manager Niko Kovac left his role at the start of November and things haven't really improved under interim gaffer Hans-Dieter Flick. The team is reliant on Robert Lewandowski's goals with the Polish front man already scoring 16 goals in the league and 27 goals across all competitions. Back-to-back 4-0 wins over Borussia Dortmund and Fortuna Dusseldorf suggested Flick might have turned things around but the deflating 2-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen at home last week was gut-wrenching. Bayern are in 4th place and 4 points off the pace of Borussia. A win here is mandatory.
What a game this could be. Borussia Monchengladbach could deliver a hammer blow to Bayern Munich's hopes of retaining their league title with a win here. If you have a player that can score goals you always have a chance and I get why Bayern are priced so short in this game. It just doesn't feel natural to bet against them. I have to back Borussia Monchengladbach though. The ELO ratings back them and until Bayern get a permanent and experienced manager in I can't help but feel they're vulnerable.

Both teams have impressed this seasons as inter sits first in the table and Roma fifth. Both teams have been involved in high scoring matches recently and i expect goals from both sides on Friday night. Inter will be looking to extend their lead and stay top of the table ahead of Juventus and with the help of Lukaku and L. Martinez they posses the quality to win this game. Ill go with Inter Milan  Win & BTTS @3.25 
 

This game is difficult for Inter. However, these are the games he needs to win if he intends to take Scudetto this season. They are in full form and score comfortably. Both teams are very productive, so we support over 2.5 goals

Sheffield United vs Newcastle
The Amazon Prime era has started with a lot more positive comments than negative ones. It's been an interesting set of results so far. This final day of midweek games throws up arguably the toughest match to call when Sheffield United host Newcastle in a 7:30pm GMT kick-off at Bramall Lane. The home side are the favourites but you just can't write the away team off at the moment.
Sheffield United are exceeding all expectations this season. Chris Wilder's men are 9th in the table and victory here would move them up to 6th in the league above the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham. Incredibly, only United and Manchester City are undefeated on the road this season but their home form isn't quite as flawless with 3 wins, 1 draw, and 3 defeats on home turf. The Blades have a fully fit squad to choose from so they'll hope they can get the win here. I'm also hoping John Lundstram keeps a clean sheet for my fantasy team. It's now 7 league games without a loss for United. If you want a cheeky anytime scorer bet than Lys Mousset has bagged 5 goals in his last 11 games for United.
Newcastle continue to surprise under the much maligned Steve Bruce. Criticism that followed his appointment still bizarrely exists even though the Magpies could potentially, albeit unrealistically, move inside the top 10 if they win this game. It's clear to see that their away form has held them back so far with just 2 wins and 5 losses from their 7 games on the road in the league. Yorkshire is a happy place for the Toon Army to visit with the club experiencing just 2 losses in their last 21 matches played there. 4 goals conceded in their last 2 league games shows the defence needs tightening.
I'm not overly keen on the odds being offered on a United win but I'll reluctantly take them. I was hoping for something pushing closer to Evens but there we go. I think we'll see a low-scoring affair between two sides that are fairly evenly matched. The difference could well be the support of the home crowd. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a narrow 1-0 victory for the Blades.

I expect goals from both sides. Liverpool are in great form, scoring goals in every league game so far. The confidence of the players is very high and I believe the Reds will continue to score. At the same time, Liverpool have trouble keeping their home intact. It has been unable to keep its liabilities to zero since September 28. So far Everton have played and scored against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. It could benefit from Alison's absence.

I recently updated the title of the topic as I have decided that I don't want to stick to one bet type (ie. over 2,5 goals). However my bets will still mainly be the over 2.5 goals as I have been posting.

First post and hopefully one of many.
I have been browsing prior to joining the site and your match previews and analysis have been excellent Stevie.
Having returned after a long hiatus I have come back to one system and that is single matches over 2.5 goals. I believe it will be a gradual, consistent and very profitable one. Having done many an accumulator over 2.5 goals over the years and been robbed by the odd one I have found the single match system to be much more profitable and having examined my previous efforts of many months I would have been in a very healthy position had I not opted to try and win lump sums with accumulators.
I am 13 from 16 since my return last week with a profit of £146 from £25 bets. Apologies for the rabbiting on.
My picks for today are:
Total goals over 2.5
Solihull Motors v Rotherham @ 1.72
Both teams are in-form and with it being a cup tie it should be a relatively open one with both teams feeling quietly confident of winning. I suspect an early goal in this one could spark a flurry and a offer up a potential goal laden match. For those who like their odds a little chunkier, over 3.5 goals is a cool 17/10 @ Unibet & BetVictor.
FSV Mainz 05 v Eintracht Frankfurt @ 1.60 
You will struggle to find 2 teams with a higher percentage of over 2.5 goals per game ratio than these two. Mainz have had over 2.5 goals in 10 out of their 12 Bundesliga matches this season while Frankfurt are 9 from 12. It's also worth noting that head to head there has been over 2.5 goals scored in 8 out of their last 10 matches against one another. One of the games where there wasn't over 2.5 was actually their previous match where Mainz won 2-0 away - where Frankfurt had enough chances to win the match!

Solihull Moors vs Rotherham
Well, that was a huge sigh of relief that was breathed in after Eastleigh's 86th minute equaliser. Never in doubt! The second preview I'm doing for this 2nd Round of matches comes from Damson Park in Solihull at 7:45pm GMT where National League side Solihull Moors host League One club Rotherham in this highly-anticipated Monday night fixture with all eyes on a potential upset.
Solihull Moors narrowly missed out on automatic promotion to the Football League last season finishing in 2nd place in the National League but failing to earn promotion through the play-offs. Former England goalkeeper Tim Flowers is the man in charge at the club and they're performing well again this season in 3rd place. It's now 6 games unbeaten for the team and they've had the unique experience of playing in the Scottish Challenge Cup this season where they reached the 4th Round before getting knocked out by Rangers Under-21s. The Moors haven't lost at home in the league since 21st September so they'll come into this game full of confidence.
Rotherham are also performing well in their league campaign with the club currently sat in 4th place in League One. Paul Warne continues to do a fine job with the Millers but the dilemma is now whether to put equal focus on a potential cup run or use this game as a chance to rest key players and give fringe players a run out. I suspect Warne will field his strongest possible side with a potential lucrative 3rd Round tie as an incentive.
This game could see a lot of goals. Solihull Moors have already scored 22 goals at home this season with over 2.5 goals scored in 73% of their home matches. Rotherham are a real threat on the road as well mind with 17 goals on their travels. That's more than they've scored on home territory. As always, I'm going to have a cheeky punt on the underdog. I can't resist. My head says Rotherham could sneak it 2-1 or even 3-2 but I'll throw some money behind a romantic home win.
