Isn't A I just the sum of a lot of other peoples views ?
I would try and find your own angle. @richard-westwoodĀ uses ratings, @Villa ChrisĀ also uses ratings, but I doubt they are exactly the same. @ZilzalianĀ uses speed figures. @MCLARKEĀ uses stats, and I'm sure others have their own methods, some of which may be similar but slightly different. We all have success and failure (we can't win all the time), it's trying to find something that you are comfortable with, and in my own case doesn't take hours of study.Ā  Hope you find yours soon.

must have a great chance of landing the Northumberland Plate Handicap at 2:05 Newcastle today.
Trainer by Richard Hughes, with N Callan onboard.Ā  The 7 year old is only carrying 9-4 from a rating of 99.
A good second of 19 in Ascot Stakes at Royal Ascot (20f, good) 11 days ago, running on. Cheekpieces back on. Not to be taken lightly. Ā  16/1 is generally still available though I suspect this price might tumble down to 10/1 come off time.. Get on now why the value is their!!!

I think the real issue is that the online bookmakers donā€™t operate as a traditional bookmaker should.
The result of a race should be immaterial - their profit should be locked in by the over round and balancing their book. Iā€™m not sure that actually takes place anymore - if 1 cuts a price the others all follow. If you look first thing in the morning this can be driven by changes in the exchange even though the total on the market at that point can even be 3 figures and definitely less than 10k which is nowt in the grand scheme.
Every single customer is profiled and if you are profitable they will limit you or close your account. On top of that you have obvious data sharing going on possibly between companies not even in the same group.
But they will also be profiling bet types as well. So whether it is the comments on this site or simply data crunching determining they canā€™t make money offering the bonuses - the result is the same. Ā If they think the ā€œcustomerā€ has an edge they will shut it down and simply add offerings that they can control like the fruit machines, virtual racing, shots on target etc ā€¦

The big handicap this Saturday is the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle. This race has been run since 1833, it was originally run on a Wednesday and was a holiday for workers in the North East and became known as the Pitmenā€™s Derby. Since 2016 it has been run on the all-weather course.
It is open to 3-year-olds or older and is run over 2 miles and 56 yards. The off time is 14.05.
20 go to post and with some bookmakers offering 6 places it makes it a good betting proposition.
    Ā
I have looked at the statistics since the race was transferred to the all-weather and these are my key conclusions.
Horses that finished 1st or 2nd last time have an excellent record with 6 wins from 38 runs and a profit at BSP of 56 points. The remainder have 1 win from 99 runs and a loss of 78 points.
Outsiders do not have a good record. Those outside the top 6 in the betting have just 1 win from 88 attempts.
Horses that have run recently have a poor record. Those that ran less than 2 weeks ago have 0 wins from 32 runs.
    Ā
    This leaves 4 horse.
    OMNISCIENT 10/1
    POST IMPRESSIONIST 5/1
    ADJUVANT 13/2
    GOLDEN RULES 6/1
I suggest backing these each way with bookmakers offering 6 places.

Information is power, any information. PL is what it is a forum but do you really believe that lets say for the sake of argument that if just 10 365 customers all copied @MCLARKEĀ Cheltenham bet (totalled to about 14K) you would be naive in the extreme if you believe for one moment the bookies couldn't join the dots? They have all your details and all your IP addresses and they all have links on here (even the word bookie) just try to open a second account and see what happens. The bookies will accept loses to a degree even to a few grand off individuals now and again, what they wont tolerate is what they would consider a "gang" Have non of you heard about their pyramid system that they (all the bookies) participate in? all i am saying and have previously warned about is be careful if you don't want to lose your accounts for what its worth i think BET365 is the best and most tolerant of all the bookies on or off line. lastly put yourself in their shoes when would you get worried?
The bigger conversation should be - a concerted effort to get the government to declare it illegal for any bookies to close down accounts without seriously good reason especially ordinary small stakes Joe Punter accounts.
