  1. J J SINGLETON (8:00 Kempton Park) Advice: Each Way Bet at 14/1 [generally available] Well its another single CD winner in the race, and has been placed several times this year and last time out run at Newbury can be easily discounted. Much better on AW. Not from one of the fancier stables which tempers confidence somewhat but a decent 5ib claimer jockey on board and has definate chance of getting in the frame if it can run up to previous recent form especially in this low grade Class 6 Handicap.
  2. From my 2 advices, Mirabello Bay was a Non Runner as the 2:30 Wolves was a void race. My other selection, Carrigilihy Won at 100/30.
  3. and another horse who may have a squeak is CARRIGILLIHY in 4:30 Pontefract. Likely to be much shorter price around 9/2.
  4. Bet Advised: MIRABELLO BAY @12/1 (2:30 Wolverhampton) Now back on the all weather after an unpromising time on turf 0-10. All Weather Record is impressive, 4/8. The Only course and distance winner in the field. Last few races can be discounted. Not difficult to see as an easy each way bet in a field of 11. Is a whopping 20/1 with bet365, though 12/1 generally available.
  5. My Saturday Each Way Double advised yesterday landed some nice profit: JOHN KIRKUP (2nd 17/2) beaten head ASADJUMEIRAH (2nd 9/1) Sunday is slim pickings but ROYAL COUNTESS @16/1 (5:25 Ayr) does have some sound course and distance form to their name, comments which do not apply to the rest of the field. Has been a shade dissapointing recently but would not need to be back to its best to land this week Handicap and 16/1 general available, again offers a little each way interest.
  6. Fresh from winning the Northumberland Plate at the weekend, Richard Hughes trains NOGO'S DREAM at 11/2, in 5:10 Windsor, Class 5 Handicap over 5 furlongs 21y. Must have a great chance of landing this now switched back from 7 furlongs which clearly did not suit, and running at the trainers local track adds confidence. NOGO'S DREAm has already won a 5f Class 4 at Wolverhamption earlier in March 2023. Latest Best Odds: 13/2 with 888sport, 6/1 generally available
  7. Rainbow Mirage at 14/1 runs in 2:20 Windsor, a course he loves, has his optimum conditions again; a 6 furlong Class 5 handicap, exactly the type of race he won this time last year at Windsor then off a rating of 66, he is running off 63 today!! Proven CD winner. Did the bookies get this one wrong?? He might have a chance of squeaking 2nd if it does not manage to win for decent place money.
  8. Calling The Wind wins the Northumberland Plate at 14/1 Mid-division, effort and headway over 3f out, pushed along well over 1f out, led over 1f out, ridden and stayed on well inside last, always doing enough op 12/1
  9. CALLING THE WIND must have a great chance of landing the Northumberland Plate Handicap at 2:05 Newcastle today. Trainer by Richard Hughes, with N Callan onboard. The 7 year old is only carrying 9-4 from a rating of 99. A good second of 19 in Ascot Stakes at Royal Ascot (20f, good) 11 days ago, running on. Cheekpieces back on. Not to be taken lightly. 16/1 is generally still available though I suspect this price might tumble down to 10/1 come off time.. Get on now why the value is their!!!
