Results update:I find it very interesting that no one on the forum commented on my decent win on Friday. Does this mean that because I have infrequent wins that no one looks at my selections? Betting on horse racing as opposed to other more stable financial investments requires a long term strategy that has to be adhered to in order for it to bear fruit. I have never encouraged punters to follow my selections and have only advocated that they consider the strategy. With my multiples, this is fairly straight forward. Select horses in open races at an ideal price of 3/1+ that have a prominent position in the market and boast a considered reasonable chance of success and combine them in doubles and trebles. With my single strategy, I propose selections that are expected to run well but have where I can obtain a price of at least 4/1. I also have a secondary process where I look for outsiders at 10/1+. Although at first sight, it may seem confusing to assess a horse race and consider one horse at say 3/1, another at 5/1+ and a 3rd at 10/+, in essence, ALL the horses in a race have some chance of winning it. The important point is that one must-have criterion for each horse within the price ranges and have a strategy that can be consistently applied to each one on a regular basis in order to have any chance of making money in the long term.

Well it takes a lot of patience and persistence but my doubles strategy has paid off now.
Multiples: Two winning doubles and one treble yesterday. The doubles paid £48.75 + £39.38 and the treble paid £142.19 = a profit on the day of £230.32 Hence at last I am back in cumulative profit. Hoorah.
Multiples: opening balance £800 less £154.81+£230.32 = £875.51 C/forward ROI 9.43%
Singles: No winners yesterday hence a £10 loss on the day
Singles: opening balance £400 add £21 = £421 C/forward ROI = 5.25%

Royal Illusion - from Willie Mullins yard they won the UK Cesarewitch with Stratum the surprise winner for yard at a big price and maybe he could do the double winning both so I've went for another one of Mullins who sends four runners out today, The 7yo has been successful at 1m 4f and 1m 7f on good ground; has also won two NH flat races over 2m in November last year so has no problems with distance, Although conditions where on good to yielding I don't expect the condition today will bother him as his last race 31 days ago at Listowel 1m 6f soft he finished 2nd beaten 2,25 lengths by Rock De Baune who he meets again today but there a 5lbs swing for Royal Illusion
Absolutely brilliant tip. Not only did you pick the best of Willie Mullins four but also the winner of the race. Trounced my nap by 8.5 lengths. very well done

For the second time this month I chose to play safe with the shorter priced horse for my nap yesterday and selected River Icon over Gulliver. Though I won on the day it was pretty annoying for me once again. I thought I had learned my lesson last time with The Accountant. I will try my level best to select the higher priced horse in the future.
I am reduced to go to Irish racing today if I want a selection.
My selection is Dalton Highway in the 4.25 at the Curragh one point win at 13.0 with skybet
I have resisted to tip Medicine Jack at 6.0 in the 3.50 at the Curragh so I guess that may win instead, haha
