  1. Andrea Petkovic to beat Kristina Mladenovic at 1.83 with betfair

Mladenovic today has won against Babos in one of the worst matches that I have seen in a long a time. A match with a lot of double faults, unforced errors, horrible drop shots, etc. Considering that both players have played horrible today and the actual form of Mladenovic I see Petkovic favourite here. Petkovic won against Gorges (1-6, 7-5, 6-4) in the 1st round and Maria Tatjana (6-1, 6-3) in the 2nd one. I expected lower ods for Petkovic so I go with the german player here.

Borna Coric vs Matthew Ebden Over 21.5 games at 1.65 with bwin

Ebden is playing very well here and I think that he can compete against Coric with his game of “serve and volley”. Ebden has won against Tiafoe (3-6, 6-4, 6-3), Thiem (6-4, 6-7, 7-6) and Gojowczyk (6-2, 6-3) while Coric has defeat Wawrinka (4-6, 6-4, 6-3), Klahn (6-4, 6-2) and Del Potro (7-5).

Alexander Zverev + Dayana Yastremska at 1.81 with bet365

Nothing much to say here. I see Zverev playing very solid (more than Edmund) and I think that the power of Yastremska will be too much for Kucova. She’s serving well (incredible numbers of points won with the first serve and even with second one), playing solid and hitting the ball with power.

  2. Timea Babos to beat Kristina Mladenovic at 1.61 with bet365

Both players are not in the best form (at least in singles) but looks like Babos is recovering some form and is playing better actually. She won against Su-Wei Hsieh (6-2, 6-2) in the 1st round of the previous tournament and then lost against Shuai Zhang in the 2nd one (6-2, 6-1). In Linz has destroyed Donna Vekic (6-1, 6-1) in the 1st round. Mladenovic has won her first match since the US Open, where she won against Zidansek. I watched her and I have to say that I didn’t liked what I see from her. Her opponent here was Harriet Dart and the match was more equal than the result reflects (6-3, 6-4). I see Babos playing better than her friend so im expecting her to win this.

    Krawietz/Mies to beat Brown/Novak at 1.61 with bet365

Novak and Brown are not implicated players in doubles, especially Novak (he is ranked 928 and Brown 184. Mies and Krawietz are good players in doubles and they have played together a lot of matches (Mies only plays doubles). Mies is ranked 95 and Krawietz 80. Just a few minutes ago Novak has won against Brown in singles (6-2, 5-7, 6-4) so im not expecting a full implication now in doubles from them.

  3. Djokovic (2-0) + Federer + Gavrilova at 1.99 with bet365

I will add this for tomorrow. Bautista feels good here but I can’t imagine him wining against Federer. The played 7 times before (16 sets won by Federer and 0 for Bautista). Djokovic looks imperial and Cecchinato plays horrible in hard courts so I can’t imagine him taking a set from Nole. Theorically Gavrilova is the hardest part but she’s in a good form and is better player than Niculescu.

@TennisProfit any reason for that, mate? I don't know any of that players but Fanselow is ranked 423 and Miedler 210

  4. Borna Coric to beat Del Potro at 2.62 with bet365

Stefanos Tsitsipas to beat Kevin Anderson at 2.20 with bet365

Matthew Ebden to beat Peter Gojowczyk at 1.90 with bet365

I see a potential upsets day for tomorrow. Del Potro is with flu and if he is still here is only because Gasquet played horrible at the crutial moments of the match. In the 1set he was serving for winning it and he was broken by Delpo and finally lost it 5-7. In the 2nd one he was serving for winning the tiebreak (6-4) and he finally lost it 7-9, unbelievable. I don’t know how he will be physically but Coric is playing well so this looks like a potential upset. Kevin Anderson did play well today against Kukushkin, playing aggressive and serving very well as always but tomorrow he will face a player that is doing very well these days. Stefanos won Monfils in 3 sets in the 1st round and today has won against Kachanov in straight sets. Nothing much to say about the last one (can’t be considered as an upset), Ebden is playing well (has beat Thiem in the previous round) and feels good in this kind of courts. Gojowczyk looks like has increased his form (he was absolutely out of form before this tournament) but his oponents have been Sock (no comments about his form) and Fucsovics (this victory surprised me a little bit but I have to say that the match was very close).

  5. Polona Hercog (+5,5) to beat Karolina Pliskova at 1.72 with bet365

Roberto Bautista (2-0) to beat Mackeznie Mcdonald at 1.83 with bet365

Karolina is the favourite here but I expect some resistance from Hercog, at least to cover this handicap. In this Asian Tour she has beat some decent players like Mónica Puig (6-4, 6-4), Christina Mchale (7-6, 6-1), Sorana Cirstea (3-6, 6-1, 6-3) and Coco Vandeweghe (6-2,6-1). In the 1st round here she won against Lara Arruabarrena (7-6, 6-2). Karolina won against Lepchenko (6-2, 6-7, 6-3) in the 1st round here. Like I said Karolina is the favourite but i expect some resistance from Polona, at least to cover this handicap. Nothing much to say about the other match. I still see Mackenzie as a challenger player and im not impressed at all with his victory against Raonic. Bautista should win most of the long rallies here.

  6. Not happy because finally i didn't post 2 other bets that i had in my mind because i was a little bit scared of the oponents (Hurcackzs +4,5 against Chung and Ebden +4,5 against Thiem). I have no balls. Sorry for posting my last prediction 30 minutes before the match started, this will be the last time i do this. If i post some prediction for tomorrow i will do it in 2 o 3 hours.

PD: anybody have seen Cilic against Jarry? Cilic won the first set and lost the second one in the tiebreak. In the third set he was serving for the match (5-4 and 30-15). Well, he lost that game, then Jarry hold his serve and then broke Cilic for second time (5-7 and match for Jarry). Definitely Cilic has his mind in the Davis Cup.

  7. Daniil Medvedev to beat Denis Shapovalov at 1.80 with bet365

Final bet for this week for me. Medvedev is in a very good form actually and he’s playing better than Denis (won in Winston-Salem like 1 month ago). He comes from the qualy and he has won Schwartzman (6-4,6-4), Klizan (6-4, 6-3) and Raonic (7-6, 6-3), so he has won all his matches of the final draw in straight sets. Shapovalov has won Chung (6-3, 3-6, 6-2), Wawrinka (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) and Struff (4-6, 7-6, 6-4). Nothing much to say, Daniil has played better and facing tougher openents.

  8. Kevin Anderson to beat Richard Gasquet at 1.72 with bet365

Stefanos Tsitsipas to beat Kei Nishikori at 2.75 with bet365

Well, finally im going to post something for today. Kevin Anderson is in the run to classify for the first time for the Nitto ATP Finals and he’s so close (7º actually). Cilic was defeat in the first round so Kevin has a good opportunity here to win the title. I watched him against Tiafoe and I liked how he played. He built so many break points against a good server and he served so well (18 aces, 80% points won with first serve). I have not seen the match between Kyrgios and Gasquet but im really not impressed at all with the numbers of Gasquet on the serve considering the apathy of Kyrgios. I watched Tsitsipas against De Minaur and I was impressed with their actual level, especially with Stefanos. Not impressed at all with the level of Nishikori in his previous games so im looking for the upset here.

Thanks.  I have two matches I'm considering to bet and maybe will not bet at all .. but I think one of them is going to win .. That is Sanchez/Klepac doubles match @ 2.5, and then you have zhang @ about 4.05.  I feel that Zhang bet is way more dangerous and Osaka might roll over her in a thunder storm. Still searching and can't find much at all for now.  The reason that I like the Sanchez doubles match is because I don't think Strycova is playing well right now.

Well, the victory of Keplac/Sánchez is interesting considering that the pair is still not qualified for Singapore while Strycova/Hlavackova are mathematically qualified. Definitely looks very juicy.

  10. The only entire match i have seen from Osaka here was the one against Julia Gorges. Julia was absolutely destroyed by Osaka (6-2, 6-1). If you take a look at the stats you will realize how Naomi destroyed her (31% of points won with the second serve…!, only 1 ace,…). The question here is if Julia simply played a horrible match or if Osaka played an amazing match. Personally, I think that Naomi played just well and that Julia played a bad match (Naomi making blood on the second serve of Julia was the key I think). Is hard to know how really good is playing Osaka considering the players she has played. She has played Zarina Diyas (6-4, 6-3), Danielle Collins (6-1,6-0) and Gorges. I can’t consider any of them as an in-form player actually (but she destroyed a top ranked player). About Shuai Zhang we know that she has faced more dangerous players (Mertens and Kerber) and that she’s playing some of the best tennis she ever played on her career. The point here is if Shuai will hold the same level against Osaka, and if she does I think she will have some chance, at least to competing with her.

  11. Oh my god anybody's watching Sabalenka? What the hell is she doing? she's out of her mind and throwing the first set!

Incredible comeback from Sabalenka, happy for the bet but feeling sad for Caroline because that was hard for her. Won the 1st set and was leading the 2nd one by 5-2. She finally lost it in the tiebreak and that mentally broke her who finally did lost the 3rd set by 6-0. Sabalenka played awfully in the 1st set commiting a lot of unforced errors and double faults (Garcia played decent but really did nothing especial). I take note from that for future rounds. Anyway, happy for this week (5/5).

    @money44 Congratulations mate! :notworthy

  12. Last bet for today

Shuai Zhang (+4.5) to beat Angelique Kerber at 1.83 with bet365

Im always a little bit scared when i make some kind of bet against the German but considering the oddss and how good  has played Shuai Zhang the last matches i think this line can be covered. The Chinese has defeat Elise Mertens (6-1, 3-6, 6-3) in the 1st round and Timea Babos (6-1, 6-2) in the 2nd one. Like I said on a previous post Zhang is playing very solid, she's being aggressive, serving decently and doing well at the net. Kerber has not won 3 consecutive matches since Wimbledon so actually she's not doing well in hard courts. She won Mladenovic (6-2,6-2) int he 1st round and Carla Suárez in the 2nd one (7-6, 6-1). I really don't care too much about that because Mladenovic is only getting good results in doubles and Carla looks like losing the tiebreak mentally destroyed her. I have no doubts that Zhang will fight the match till the end especially considering that she's playing at home and the crowd will be with her so i don't expect any kind of "disconnection" from her like Carla had.

  13. Kevin Anderson vs Frances Tiafoe Over 23.5 games at 2.00 with bet365

I have to say that i rarely bet on this kind of market but I'm gonna try the over here. We have 2 players with a big serve (especially Kevin of course) and a high % of first serve on their previous games here. Tiafoe won easily against Marterer (7-5, 6-4) and Kevin suffered a lot against Ebden (4-6, 7-6, 6-2) so I think Kevin is a little bit overrated here considering that i see Tiafoe better than Ebden. The line can be covered with 2 sets if we have 2 long sets (7-5, 7-5). Anyway i don't discard a 3 set match here (in this case the line will be covered of course). Like i said i don't like too much this kind of market so if this goes wrong probably I will not try more under/over for a long time.

  14. Aryna Sabalenka to beat Caroline Garcia at 1.50 with William Hill

Going with the most in form player actually. The odds are not the higher obviously but considering the actual form of both players I decided to post it. Caroline was defending a lot of points in this Asian Tour from the last year where she won in Wuhan and Beijing. Siniakova beat her in Wuhan in the 1st round and now she got to face the most in form player in this 3th round of Beijing, not the best scenario considering her actual form. Sabalenka has won the last 10 sets she has played (Kenin, Cibulkova, Barty, Kontaveit and Muguruza). Yesterday I saw her against Mugu and after watching only 3 games (no breaks) I realized that Aryna would win that match in straight sets, even when she was 1 break down in the second set. Good luck.

Karolina Pliskova to beat Aliaksandra Sasnovich at 1.42 with Unibet

Shuai Zhang to beat Timea Babos at 1.62 with William Hill

Short odds, I know, and I'm going to look like an idiot if they both somehow lose, but I feel that they are among the safer favourites tomorrow. Pliskova is chasing the WTA Finals, so plenty of motivation there and her loss last week is excusable. Meanwhile, I very much liked Zhang against Mertens, Babos is a step down in terms of quality.

I was going to post the victory of Shuai Zhang but you did first haha. What a match from the chinese! She played very solid! She played very aggressive, serving decently (considering that it is her biggest weakness), played very well at the net and she did some epic passing shots, what a show form her! I don't expect her to play as well as she did against Elise Mertens, but if she plays "similar" as she did he should win against a bad in form Babos.

  16. Frances Tiafoe to beat Maximilian Marterer at 1.57 with bet365

Tiafoe is in better form than Marterer. This will be the first match in Asia for both players but the surface is better for Tiafoe. Marterer did nothing remarkable since Roland Garros. This will be the second match between them, the first one was in Cincinatti the last year where Tiafoe won in straight sets (6-3, 7-6). Good luck.

totally agree with you @darko08 thats why I want to know this group's opinion on Murray's next match against Verdasco. Murray surprised me and Verdasco disappointed me. Dont know what to expect! :\

Hi Uriel18! Verdasco beat Murray “easily” in the US Open 3-1 (7-5, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4) and that was only 1 month ago. I remember that a lot of people did bet for Verdasco in that match because everybody saw there the perfect opportunity for Verdasco to beat Murray (the h2h before that match was 13-1). Now I don’t have the same feelings for this match because like you have said, today Verdasco has played worse than he did in the first round and Murray better than he did. The only thing I know Is that there is no value in betting for Murray because 1.53 (bet365) is ridiculous considering that he’s still so far away from his best form.

  18. Definitely i will take a rest from posting and I will just follow your predictions for a few days because that match of Murray shocked me. Yesterday he played the worst match that I ever seen from him and today he won against Goffin in straight sets. I got to say that Goffin collaborated in that and if he had played from the start like he did when he won 4 consecutive games in the second set he probably would won. Anyway, that Murray was not the same Murray from yesterday of course. I also watched Sabalenka against Cibulkova and i got to say that she's absolutely in form, tomorrow he will play against Barty who did finals here the last year, lets see what happens in there. I will expect your predictions. Good luck!

  19. David Goffin to beat Andy Murray at 1.73 with William Hill

Going against Murray. Yesterday he suffered a lot against an unknown challenger player. I saw Murray altered, protesting a lot, exhausted, serving badly and losing many points in rallies against Zhizhen Zhang (1.91 m). Zhang retired in the third set when Murray broke him (4-2) so probably he had some kind of injury and that reflects how bad was playing Murray. I saw Murray very tired during the match an recently he has said that in 2019 he will play less tournaments so that confirms to me that he's not well physically and he's feeling tired. The only thing that i don't like is that Goffin has not played a match since the US Open. Anyway, he did a good tournament on there where finally was defeat in the 4th round against a big Cilic. I don't care about the h2h cause we have an exceptional situation this time.

I have to edit because a made a mistake. Goffin played 2 matches in the Laver Cup (single match against Schwartzman and another match in the doubles). This fact give me more confidence on this bet.
