  1. Flightofthepheonix 4:45 Southwell (5/2, Bet365 boosted to 11/4). Mr Jol's syndicate horse, ran a cracker from a wide draw on debut, any improvement would make her hard to beat here. 1pt win 5/2 P/L: +5.65pts. Withdrawn at the start, maybe for the best from a betting point of view as the Gosden fav wazzed up.
  2. Ballygriffin Cottage 2:55 Cheltenham (12/1). Small bet on as he's still pretty lightly raced for a 9 year old, hopefully Chepstow was just a prep run for this and looks fairly handicapped and unexposed over this kind of trip. 0.25pts win 12/1 P/L: +5.65pts Fell early.
  3. Ginny's Destiny was jumping and traveling well then went out like a light.
  4. Nice start! Beeley interesting in 2nd, 24lb lower than the winner 👀
  5. Taken some 3/1 (Skybet) Ginny's Destiny for the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday. Shorter with most bookies and looks rock solid given he does well at Cheltenham (won 3 chases here and only 2L behind Grey Dawning at the festival). Yards runners have needed a run but he can obviously get them ready to win if he wants. 2pts win 3/1 P/L: +5.9pts
  6. moved to Richard's Padddy Power Gold Cup thread.
  7. Ballywood dropped 47lb from peak rating, wonder if he will pop up one day (hopefully today for you 😀). Was entitled to have needed a few runs after 3 years off. Racing post gave him an RPR of 93 at Fontwell, suggesting he's not completely gone.
  8. Finally a winner for me, I look forward to marauding up the table in the coming weeks. How long is left?
  9. Watford 1.85 Leeds 1.25 Burnley 1.83 £5.63 ALL IN win treble.
  10. Tightenourbelts 3:35 Exeter (11/2 Betvictor / Hills). Well handicapped if confidence is back. Heavily backed at Chepstow last season off 5lb higher but had no confidence at the jumps. Looked like a promising prep run over hurdles last month. Cobden booked. 2pts win 11/2 P/L: +7.9pts. Great ride from Cobden won that. Nice to actually get a winner but the R4's killed it, I only got paid out at 2.2/1, when it started at 7/2, which is a bit of a joke, but then again the fav might well have won.
  11. Watford were just really bad, never got going at all.
  12. I was thinking that the other day, there seem to have been way more draws than usual in the Championship. Need to look if the stats confirm that.
  13. Looks a good night for away teams in the Championship, there's only Plymouth that I'd fancy at home. Small away acca. Sheffield United, Hull, Norwich, Watford around 70/1 Bet365 0.1pt win 1 point on Watford to beat Swansea, I'd make them the better team if a bit inconsistent, smashed Sheffield Wednesday 6-2 away last time so I don't know why they are 3/1 (Bet365). P/L: -10.70pts
  14. Sending off killed my Sunderland bet, they didn't try to score after that. Tough going in the Championship this season.
  15. Sunderland to beat QPR 3pts 11/10 Bet365 P/L: - 9.6pts.
  16. I suspect that's the worst attacking performance in WBA's history but they get the ball in the box once and score, funny old game 🤪
  17. Jed Wallace starting for only the 2nd time this season, hope he shows what they've been missing.
  18. Champ treble WBA - Win if they bother sticking the ball in the net Sunderland - Look bankers against bad QPR team Coventry - Big price if they can build on their best performance of the season last week. 0.5pts win treble around 20/1 with bet365. P/L: -6.6pts
  19. WBA 2.75 Sunderland 2.05 Coventry 4.60 £5.625 (half bank) win treble.
  20. Having flashbacks to WBA failing to score last week 🤢. They will play Luton off the park but will they stick the ball in the net? Sunderland could be mortgage jobs away at QPR. Coventry might be worth a go as they finally turned up against Luton last week and created more in that game than the rest of the season combined, 3.8/1 with Coral will be too tempting.
  21. Supposedtobe 3:35 Stratford (28/1 Skybet). Not sure why this one is such a big price, has been running well and placed last 4 times. Decent effort at this track in September and the extra distance should suit. Had a small bet with the extra place on offer. 0.25 pts E/W 28/1 5 places. P/L: + 3.5pts. unbelievably terrible run, jumped like a Sumo wrestler and outpaced from the off.
  22. Flight Deck 3:30 Newton Abbot (14/1 Bet365). Small bet on this one as he goes well on sloppy ground, has dropped to a more realistic mark and ran pretty well last time before a break. 0.2pts win 14/1 P/L: +4pts. Good effort but the winner did it nicely.
  23. Magical Escape 2:35 Chepstow (4/1). Missed the bigger prices but nvm. Probably just needed the run on chase debut at Exeter recently, top weight to lug around this big track but looks sure to go close. 1pt win 4/1 P/L: +4.2pts Dreadful, no idea why it would run so badly.
  24. My paddock person says Jabbar looks "like an absolute lunatic".
  25. Jabbar 3:45 Galway (4/1 Bet365). Fast finishing 3rd in the race won by Comfort Zone at Naas last time, before that he beat a 1/9 shot over hurdles. Won on soft, so hopefully the drop in trip on heavy won't inconvenience. 1pt win 4/1 P/L: +5.20pts Cashed out for a small loss, still 9/2 with Bet365 but 6/1 elsewhere. Taken 7/1 with BOG. Fair 2nd, possibly not loving the ground.
