  1. Leeds 1.35 Watford 2.90 Juventus 1.30 £50 win treble.
  2. Arsenal usually give up around this time each season and the home defeat to West Ham suggests this campaign will be no different. They look weaker without Saka and with an unproven striker. Forest lost to Newcastle but were much better in the 2nd half and we are good at home. 1pt win Forest 31/10 Bet365 P/L: -3pts Stayed in the game but couldn't find any quality to nick it.
  3. One for the weekend as the price could well drop. Stoke looked a mess against Boro and Watford are playing well enough to take advantage. 3pts Watford 15/8 (Bet365). P/L: -2pts.
  4. Probably a bit wet but you can lay Sheffield United at 0.9/1 on betfair, I've covered my stake (not including in my running total). Leeds clearly very capable of scoring.
  5. Bookies suckering me in again against Leeds, but 7/2 Sheffield United at home under the lights at Bramall Lane is just too tempting. 1pt win Sheffield United 7/2 Betfred P/L: +1pt Sheffield gave it a good go, but Leeds don't stop.
  6. I hate VAR but the ref took the chance to correct his own error.
  7. That's a clear dive from Young to my eyes, launched himself into it like Tom Daley.
  8. Championship Double WBA and Blackburn 4/1, I've been very disappointed with WBA under Mowbray so far and feel he's been getting it very wrong in terms of formation and team selection. He's had a week to work with the players since the got a lucky point at Millwall and hopefully he's sorted a few things out. They clearly have way more talent than Oxford Utd, Makes sense to me to just keep opposing Swansea, they are very powder puff and I think they will struggle to deal with Blackburn's in form striker Gueye. 1pt win double 4/1 Betvictor. P/L: +2pts. Shocking from Blackburn, could have scored on 35mins then concede a very soft goal a few mins later and just showed nothing after that.
  9. I watched the match, looked a good pick and should have been 3 goals ahead at half time, but they didn't put the ball in the net and got punished. So a good pick but bad result imo.
  10. We did them both against Spurs and they both played terribly!
  11. Bristol City much the best team in the first half against Boro but somehow behind, sporting play at 5/1 with Skybet to turn it around. 1pt win Bristol City at half time 5/1, P/L: +3pts Young lad off the bench scored 2 to turn it around
  12. Yeah probably just because they are 2-0 up and a draw will suffice.
  13. Anyone know why Ajax are 5/4 to beat Union Guioise (thought they would be odds on). Ajax beat them 2-0 away and Union also lost to Rangers, so they can't be that good.
  14. That's what I was expecting from Mbappe at the World Cup 😁 Good to see him back in form anyway.
  15. Tempted by Plymouth, only 4 points away from home all season but most of that was under Rooney and they are actually in better form overall than Luton (how are they so bad?).
  16. Summer in Milan 2:25 Lingfield (7/1 Bet365). Taking the early price as 11/2 elsewhere. Thought this one would benefit from 3m on a galloping track on better ground (probably disliked the sloppy ground on last run). Chase debut (3rd in a point on debut in Nov'23) and doesn't look like this will take much winning. 1pt win 7/1 0.5pt win double with X tip Alexandra Larose in the 4:45 Hunt (10/3 Bet365) double around 33/1. P/L: +3.5pts. Nicely backed but just isn't very good.
  17. Bit harsh on Sunderland but Leeds were pretty relentless and the pressure just kept growing 2nd half.
  18. Similar sentiments to Stevie and Freddie, can't knock Leeds at all but Sunderland are a decent team too and 6/1 is a little too big to ignore. 0.5pts Sunderland 6/1 Betfred P/L: -1.95pts
  19. Helm Rock 4:25 Wolves (10/1 Hills/PP). Nibble on this one in an open looking race. Given an aggressive ride from a wide draw last time, predictably faded in the home straight. Hopefully easier to slot in behind this time and only 2lbs above Southwell win in November. 0.5pts win 10/1 Almost but not quite. P/L: +5pts.
  20. Fulham 2.2 WBA 2,70 Sheffield Wednesday 2.40 Half bank or whatever is maximum allowed. £10.83 win treble.
  21. Swansea got a surprise win at Bristol last time but I'm not convinced they can back that up. Wednesday are decent away and almost got something from WBA despite being way too defensive. They won't give Swansea as much respect and nearly 2/1 on betfair looks a bit big. 1pt win Sheffield Wednesday 2.94 Betfair Exchange. Seemed to be the better team from what I saw but not great in or around the box but at least they won. P/L: -1.45pts
  22. WBA should be able to beat Blackburn, especially as Eustace has left for Derby. Mowbray hasn't got WBA quite playing yet but Armstrong got up and running on debut at the weekend hopefully they build up a head of steam here. 2pt win Evens Betway Really poor, Mowbray played the wrong formation for an hour, finally changes it and immediately condede the 2nd P/L: -3.35pts.
  23. Magical Escape 2:30 Wetherby (17/2 Bet365). Give this one last chance, I fancied him at Chepstow but ran too badly to be true (mistakes carrying a big weight didn't help). 4lb lower than that now and maybe being back at a more suitable track compared to Rasen last time will help. 1pt win 17/2 Woeful, one more off the tracker anyway. P/L: +5.5pts.
  24. To be fair it was more those specific games I was worried about!
  25. Looks a strong Forest team to my eyes, should be enough to smash Exeter pretty easily. 3pts win Forest 4/9 Bet365 0.5pts Forest -2 3/1 Skybet Hope Awoniyi is alright. That took some shocking performances from some Forest players that need to find new careers. Done my conkers there. P/L: - 1.35pts.
